But you overall pay a premium for the nice decor. I had asked for the bacon to be removed, but unfortunately it was still included, and there was a lot of it in the bowl. I spent most of the meal picking it out, which definitely took away from the experience a bit, but the dish itself was still delicious. I also noticed the presentation was different from what I expected. My graham vanilla bourbon latte was missing the cookie, and the drink came in a plastic cup instead of the tall glass I'd had on previous visits. My food also came in a little to-go carton instead of plated presentation. Has the place moved away from using plates and glassware? If so, what a pity, presentation really does make a difference, especially for such a cute café atmosphere. One thing I found interesting is that despite being only a few feet away from Karen's Bakery, Sociology still had a steady line of people waiting for coffee and food, which says a lot about how popular it is. Original family who owned this establishment were GREAT !…read more-- my husband decided he wanted to bring various donuts home and got 'buttermilk / cream filled / cinnamon (was my favorite originally ) / donut holes -- Later in the Day, after eating his fill of these things in the Morning, he said his stomach was UPSET. Two (2) days later I tried the Buttermilk ... dipped an Inch size piece into my hot cup of Coffee, and it was Grossly Greasy. CANNOT RECOMMEND BJ CINNAMONS anymore
