Some Tuesdays are just Tuesdays... and then some Tuesdays earn a standing ovation. This one started with a workout at Life Time with a friend, the kind where you walk out feeling accomplished, exhausted, and just delusional enough to think, "Yeah... I probably burned enough calories to justify tacos." Then one of us said the five most romantic words in the English language: "It's Taco Tuesday... you up?" At that point there was no discussion, no hesitation, no council meeting. Just a unanimous, spirit-led, fully committed hell yes. We rolled into Palladio, parked with the usual little scavenger hunt that comes with parking there, and made our way inside. Right off the bat we were greeted and told to grab a seat, which already set the tone. No awkward standing around, no "wait here while we pretend not to see you," just immediate hospitality. Love that. We found a table with a view of the game, and while my friend is a hockey fan, she was going to have to sit in temporary suffering because basketball had the screen and that was simply the Lord's plan for the evening. Then our waiter arrived. Not walked up. Arrived. This man moved like a taco-serving phantom. Drinks? Boom. Menus? Boom. Chips and salsa? Boom. Gone before we could even process his speed. Then just when we thought, "Wait... did he disappear into another dimension?" he reappeared, took our order, and vanished again like some kind of hospitality Batman. Now usually if a server is moving like that, you start wondering if you've been abandoned. Not here. This man had range. Precision. Timing. He wasn't absent--he was surgical. Every time we needed something, he somehow materialized out of thin air like he had taco telepathy. And let me tell you right now... those chips and salsa? Dangerous. The kind of dangerous where you tell yourself, "I'm gonna save room for the tacos," while your hand keeps reaching into the basket like it has its own free will. Crispy, fresh, flavorful--easily some of the best chips and salsa I've had in a long time. They didn't come to the table as an appetizer... they came as a warning. Then the tacos landed. We both got the carne asada, and the first bite felt like my taste buds got slapped awake and told to get back to work. Bam. Flavor right out the gate. Seasoned well, cooked right, and exactly what your soul is asking for after an hour and a half of trying to become a better person in the gym. These tacos didn't just hit the spot--they pulled up, kicked the door open, and moved in. And I appreciate when a place doesn't just rely on good food to carry the whole night. The restaurant was clean, organized, and welcoming, and the bathrooms were spotless--which, let's be honest, tells you a lot about a place. If the bathrooms are clean, there's usually excellence somewhere in the building. Even paying the check felt like part of the magic act. I swear I never actually saw our waiter coming or going. One second we were talking, the next second the bill was handled. Like sir... are you a man or are you a beautifully efficient mirage? I really wish I had gotten his name because he absolutely crushed it. So here's the final score: Post-workout tacos? Elite move. Great service? Check. Clean restaurant? Check. Spotless bathrooms? Check. Carne asada tacos that made me forgive leg day? Absolutely. Mas Taco delivered the kind of Taco Tuesday that deserves to be protected at all costs. I'll definitely be back... probably after another workout, pretending this is all part of the fitness plan.

Mas Taco Bar is a great little place to go to in Palladio for a quick bite or dinner. It is family and kid friendly with ample seating inside and out for small parties or larger gatherings. Their team of servers and workers are friendly and personable, which in this day and age does not go unnoticed by me. Especially when our server went above and beyond to check in and ensured our beverages were refilled without asking. Portion sizes are just right and dishes are made with a delicious and flavorful flare. If there was one critique, I would ask to please double check the tables and seating for cleaning as well as the floors when parties leave.

Just a quick drink at the bar before our Help Elite event! It was pretty busy for a Monday night. Most of the tables were full and we noticed there was outdoor seating available. We were coming in before our event to pregame! With an open bar top, service was fast! We each ordered a short modelo. Every inch of Mas Taco Bar was decorated like it was a Fiesta. I really want to try their birrira ramen that they were advertising! We realized the they were getting ready for a fun trivia night. We wish we could've stayed, but we were in and out within 10 minutes. I can't wait to come back for trivia and that birria ramen!!

Usually come for Happy Hour but came in for dinner on a Friday night. Tried the Horchata Cold Brew for the first time and wow, it was delicious! Ordered the Mas Fries, my favorite item on the menu- and it was great as usual! I wish they'd make tacos using the asada from the Mas Fries, it's so good and you can tell they marinate it! Ordered a few tacos- Al pastor, great but sweet and comes with chunks of pineapple. The meat is super tender and juicy- def one of their best taco options. Also opted for the battered fish taco- eat it first or it gets soggy. Great when crispy! And one of my favs- the Baja fish taco- the fish is seasoned super well and topped with a yummy chili crema. Our server was great! She was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Love this location, the decor is beautiful inside giving it the perfect vibe.

Spur of the moment lunch after a massage. It was 4th of July and happy hour time. We started to order small to see how we felt and we wanted to try happy hr dishes! The chips and salsa were yummy. My husband like his jalapeños balls. My elote was good but a tad sweet and not from the corn. Potato taco, wasn't the biggest fan. Margarita was pretty standard tasting. The bartenders actually shake the drinks! The restaurant got a tad over ran and our poor waitress was busting her butt (literally her against all these tables of people). Aka service was good but it just got busyyyy! Tables had silverware, napkins, and hot sauces on them. Indoor and outdoor seating. Would go back for happy hr food and drinks or just girl dinner!

Happy hours is the best. Free kids , 1/2 half appetizers, $1 off tacos also deals on drinks. Also good was amazing. We started with 2 tacos then added more. Only down side not sure I loved that this chips and salsa were entire tostadas .

Decent queso for California. My Baja tacos weren't quite socal, but happy to have them. I was given three huge pieces of fish. My waitress was an absolute sweetheart. I will definitely return.

Stopped in for happy hour and ordered the mas fries based on bartender's recommendation. The watermelon margarita was soooo refreshing. Starters are half off during happy hour M-F 3-6pm. The fries came topped with lots of steak, red peppers, crema and cotija cheese.

I had the vegan impossible asada and portobello tacos (I think these were a special) and they were both good. When we visited a few months ago, I asked about vegan options and was told the potato tacos could be made vegan (they were out of the Impossible asada at the time). The potatoes were a bit large and slightly awkward to eat, so I had to cut them up, but they were really tasty! The service was great, and the atmosphere makes it a great spot for groups and happy hour. I also had the watermelon basil margarita, delish!

The food is mid- I like the variety, but find a large amount of the food to be overly salty. I enjoyed the Habanero Fire balls- one of my favorite things on the menu. There are so more places in Sac to find great tacos- the service is great- no complaints. very attentive The decor and seating was great. Super clean and definitely fun to hang out with a group or go on a date.

I've been to Mas Taco a few times now, and every visit has been consistently delicious. I've tried a range of their tacos: the pork al pastor, braised short rib, Korean fried chicken, pork belly, and birria. So far, everything I've had has been flavorful and satisfying. The Korean fried chicken taco in particular is my favorite--perfectly crispy, flavorful, and totally craveable. What I really appreciate is the variety on the menu--they offer both simple, classic taco options as well as more creative, elevated ones. So far, everything I've tried has been tasty and well-prepared. That said, this is a four-star spot for me, only because on a few occasions, I felt like the tacos could've been filled with more, especially for the price point. Not every taco was like that, but a couple definitely came out looking a little light on the protein. Still super yummy--I just would've loved a bit more in the tortilla. The ambience is modern and stylish, with an inviting layout--you walk in to a nice bar and plenty of seating. It strikes a good balance between casual and slightly upscale. Service has always been friendly and efficient, and food comes out quickly. Mas Taco is absolutely a go-to for me when I want a reliably yummy taco experience, and I always look forward to going back.

Ask the Community - Mas Taco Bar

    What's the best taco here?

My favorite taco there is Bahn Me Shrimp taco. But it is all personal taste!

Is there a kids menu? Or will they make a quesadilla for a kiddo upon request?

Yes, we do offer a kids menu of quesadillas, burritos, and chicken tenders.

Onto the food: Chips and Salsa - Typical crunchy corn chips with a good portion of salt sticking to each one. Very good like any solid taqueria would have. Habanero Sauce - 9 - Tasty but wow will this one get you. It's hot! So much good flavor though...it's to die for. Jalapeño Cream Sauce - 10 - Something I've never seen before but is so delicious. Creamy with tremendous Jalapeno flavor with a kick. Destination salsa!!! Guacamole Sauce - 6 - Lacking in lime flavor, watered down avocado Sinaloa Sauce - 8 - fresh tomato forward but excellent spices on the finish. Rice 7 - Good but run of the mill Beans - 10 - Best refried beans you can get...seriously! Quesabirria - 9 - Juicy and flavorful. I was hoping for more pizazz Carne Asada Super Burrito - 10 - Juicy and tasty, hit damn it's good! Shredded Chicken enchilada with green sauce - 10 - Tender and juicy chicken along with perfectly bittersweet green sauce. Birria Enchilada with red sauce - 8 - Juicy meat but salty when combined with the red sauce. Good flavor though! Chile Relleno Plate - 10 - The fresh tomato sauce was perfect, the crunch on the chile was perfect, the cheese was perfect. Eat it right away to preserve the crunch! Taco Plate (Pollo Asada, Carnitas, Al Pastor) - Carne Asada - 7 - I ordered chicken but this was flavorful albeit dry Carnitas - 6 - No crisp and a bit lacking in flavor Al Pastor - 9 - Very flavorful but has a greasiness to it . I don't recommend ordering in a burrito because it may be overwhelming. Flan - 8 - Creamy and tasty, a tad sweet This place is fantastic. There are several items we've tried that have become our favorites among the local taquerias. Friendly staff, very high quality takeout Mexican at a good price. This place can't be beat!

Now here's what made it even better--this used to be a Taco Bell back in the day, so let me just say... the taco energy in this building is deeply rooted. The tortilla spirits were already working overtime before I even walked in. I stepped inside, got greeted right away, and placed my order for carne asada tacos and a drink. Simple. Efficient. Exactly what the pre-movie mission required. But here's where things got impressive... I swear the second I paid, my food was basically already waiting for me like it had somehow known I was coming. And unless I missed someone hiding in the back doing ninja-level prep work, I'm pretty sure the young lady up front was running the whole operation. She was taking my order, working the drive-thru headset, handling everything, and still keeping it smooth like it was just another regular day. That kind of hustle deserves respect. Now let's talk tacos. These carne asada tacos came out hot, flavorful, and straight-up comforting. The kind of flavor that doesn't taste like "fast food trying to be tacos"--nah, these tasted like somebody's grandma would absolutely approve. And if the food gives "abuela would nod in silence and keep cooking," that's a compliment of the highest order. Every bite hit. The meat had flavor, the tacos were put together right, and for a quick stop before a movie, this absolutely overdelivered. The place was easy, the service was fast, and the whole stop felt like one of those hidden little wins you're glad you trusted. In all, Taco Express did exactly what it needed to do... Quick. Flavorful. No nonsense. Strong taco ancestry. And honestly, if this building was once a Taco Bell and has now evolved into this... that's character development. Will I be back? Yeah... because movie plans and tacos are a dangerous combo.

We were meeting a friend and they had gotten a table for us before we arrived, but it wasn't busy and there were plenty of tables available. We're glad we had a chance to try Cantina Pedregal before it changes into Nixtaco- although now having been to both you're going to have delicious food either way. The restaurant is beautiful and whoever did the interior design was so thoughtful with the furniture, colors and ambiance. It's very warm, welcoming and calming inside. A great date spot or place for a meeting. The lunch menu has a good variety of options, and is broken down into smaller bites/appetizers, salads, main plates, and then sides. It's a nice spot to share dishes so you can try more items and share the sides. We ended up getting the chips and salsa ($7) with an extra salsa ($4), Grilled Black Half Chicken ($23), and Fideo Seco ($14). Our friend got the Carne Asada Tacos ($24), Refried Beans ($12), and Red Rice ($10). The sides were shareable and needed, since the entrees came on their own. Our friend added some of the beans, rice and Fideo Seco on their tacos and our chicken did come with some tortillas to make our own tacos or eat on it's own. Everything was high quality and flavorful. The Fideo Seco was surprisingly my favorite item. It is vermicelli pasta with sofrito, chorizo and egg yolk and was very tasty. The chicken was good, but hard to eat without using your hands to get all the meat off the bones- the messy hands didn't seem to fit with the restaurant vibe but we loved the flavor and how tender the chicken was. The salsa was good and the chips were fresh, but it seemed like a lot to charge $4 for the ramekins of salsas. I would pass on chips and salsa next time. Overall it was a great vibe, high quality food and good service. Definitely more of a treat meal or great spot to impress a date or business client. For a regular chill meal it felt a bit expensive, but I think they're going for more upscale.
