This is not a wine shop it's a local hole selling bottles of wine. My husband's and I stopped here yesterday for a glass of wine before dinner. I was underwhelmed by their "by the glass" menu and settled on an Orange wine and my husband got a Sauvignon Blanc. We sat in the green velvet couches that felt like sitting in someone's basement. My husband took one sip of his wine and it was terrible, I took a sip and it smelled like it was turning. He went back to get a different glass and the owner reluctantly poured him a Rose. We sat and had two glasses each, about $60. When I went to pay, the owner said that she wanted to be "transparent" and was still charging me for half of the awful first glass we took back. I told her I tasted it and it was terrible. She was extremely rude about it. If you were being "transparent" you would have told me that before pouring another glass. So she charged me $6-7 when I would have tipped $10-12 on the tab and I'll never go back there again. That's just someone that doesn't know how to run a business. Don't go here, like the other reviews stated, it's really just for locals. I overheard the owner saying to someone she got a case of some wine cheap because the labels were misprinted. So they are running a cheap wine shop. If you go here, make sure you taste anything before you buy or you will be charged even if the wine has turned. Although, I wanted to taste the reisling and the owner told me the bottle wasn't opened yet and it was super sweet, she wouldn't let me taste it. Like she was assuming I wouldnt like it. As in , if you are an outsider looking to stop for a glass of wine or beer, you will surely get the cold shoulder, or straight attitude. I try to support local businesses as much as possible. In doing so, I've tried three times before I was able to check out Table Wine. The first two times I stopped by, they were closed for a private event, which wasn't posted on their website or anywhere else I checked on those two separate occasions. I was finally able to make it in one evening. I had a similar experience as others noted in their Yelp reviews. The two people behind the counter weren't super friendly and gave a standoffish kind of vibe. They were chatting it up with some presumably regulars but pretty much ignoring customers like me. I ordered a glass of wine and seated myself at an empty table. The interior is cute and intimate. I really like the set-up and can see myself coming here for a glass and some alone time every now and then, but the service really needs to improve for me to make this a regular place I hangout at. read more

Great spot! Every time I go in, even though I know soooo little about wine, I can explain my preferences and they recommend a great bottle. I have NEVER left with anything but a tasty, perfect bottle. My husband loves sweet, white wines. I love earthy, dark red wines. And we always love their recommendations. It is special to go to a spot with experts who treat you like your opinion is worth listening to and then walking out with a recommendation you love. I heard there was a wine shop in Pacifica, that offered reasonably priced every day wines, and had to go check it out. I love how the space is very open and inviting. The wines are displayed along the long side of the wall, making it very easy to browse. Tags hang from the bottles, with description and tasting notes. They have a unique selection of wine that you won't find at the big stores. Katie is friendly and knowledgeable offering recommendations. I was surprised to find several Austrian wines here and had to take one home to try. Most of the wines are around $20. They offer wine by the glass, plus events during the week ("Spritz Hour" Tues, Wed & Thurs ; Flights on Fridays ; Tasting Events on Sat). I wish this shop was closer to me so I could visit more regularly. I look forward to visiting again soon. read more

I work near by and I pop in from time to time. I'm always greeted with a friendly greeting, never a pretentious stuck up vibe, sometimes wine shops can be uppity. I love that the wine is really very good and pretty affordable. Lots of wines from not just CA but all over the world. Every time I ask for a recommendation it's on point for what I'm looking for. I once came in and asked for a crowd pleaser red and white wine for a dinner party and both selections were a hit! They have some refreshing rose wine on chill for the summer. As well as other cold white wines on chill to take home and enjoy. They often have fun tasting flights and you may get food from the taqueria next door to enjoy with you're wine on the patio. My girlfriend and I popped by the Mexican spot next door to Table Wine to grab a bite to eat, then were planning on purchasing a bottle of wine next door at Table Wine once we received our orders. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside in the back of the restaurant at one of the tables while we waited. A few minutes later, one of the owners of table wine (the one with short hair) comes out and aggressively tells us we can't sit there, that is for Table Wine only, an that we would have to move! You would have thought we were criminals by the way she spoke to us. We had no idea there were separate tables and chairs for Table Wine and the Mexican spot as they share a space and there is no clear divide on which table and chair is for which business. We apologized and moved, but the experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and so we decided to not make a purchase at Table Wine after all. read more

Stopped by Table Wine again tonight. This time to resolve what might have been a little bit of a problem with a bottle I had previously purchased. It may still have been good, but the cork was questionable and wine had filled the area under seal so I did bring it back. This was the first bottle of wine in years did I've had any problem with. When things are going well at Table Wine, or at any wine shop, it's easy to give a business an excellent review. But, when things are a little questionable or there is a problem with a product the business really has a chance to shine in the area of customer service. This is where Table Wine really shines. They quickly resolved my problem by swapping out with a different bottle. They didn't have any left of the one that I had picked up before but the the bottle swapped it out with another brand and type suitable to the taste I was going for and about the same price. Since the price was not exactly the same there was a small credit. This was noted in my customer record of their point-of-sale system. Tn all I have to say that I've been satisfied when things went right, and even more impressed with problem address in a smooth and professional manner. In every case I recommend Table Wine to anyone who's looking for a bottle that they already know about, or searching for a new flavor or taste on the recommendation of the shop owner Katie. Outstanding wine store what also sells the occasional beer. It's co-located within a strip mall so parking is in practical terms, unlimited. Even if there is no spot right in front there will be parking in that lot somewhere. This is a quite the charming shop. There will be some tasteful counter displays luring you in and a long counter along the right side. That's more or less where the wine/food tastings occur. There is no seating as this is a retail store so the wine tastings will be sip and stand. There is a wine cooler up front and a beer cooler in the back. The wines are organized by region/country and origin and type. There have a good selection of imports and the wine is selected for affordability and drinkability . Nothing rare, ultra high end or terribly fancy, just good drinkable wines. Pricing of course varies. There are some quality bargains to be had-some bottles will go for ten ish, but mostly you'll be looking at 30-40 bucks on average. More for a case or a special order. There are a half dozen to a dozen brands of beer available usually on the elite beer side of things, but the wine is what this place is about. Service is pretty laid back. the staff are always present for questions or purchasing, but for the most part they just kinda hang back and let you putter around. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Such a great, homey and comfy environment. Plenty of seating, including couches, chill music playing, shelves with beautiful bottles of wine displayed... Plus, they have white port, which is so hard to find in the U.S., and they do "happy hour spritzes" and unique types of sangria. Prices are very reasonable. During the lockdown they even would deliver to your house. I enjoy discovering the new wines they recommend that we never would have known to try. If you go, stock up on 6 or a whole case at a time. I walked in and there is a record player near the door playing music! Oh yeah, you got me at the record player baby. This place is amazing. Go here for your wine. It's beautiful inside, it's quaint, the staff knows their stuff, and the wines are reasonable but high quality. These are not overpriced wines just to be overpriced. They are good, delicious, excellent wines at the right price. I can't say I spent long in here because I had just come from an afternoon at the beach and I was anxious to get home for dinner. Also my barking dog was in the car. So I literally ran in and said, I'd like a Cab! The woman pointed straight to the Californias (my usual favorite) and, as I was browsing them (they looked good), I started to want a Pinot Noir (also California) - which is what I ended up choosing. She was like, you said you wanted a Cabernet, are you sure you want that Pinot, I want to make sure you walk out of here happy :). I said, I'm totally happy :). I just changed my mind at the very last second. That is known to happen in my somewhat haphazard world. That said, I can be impulsive. That makes life fun. When used sparingly of course. I impulsively ran into Table Wine for a good bottle of wine, I impulsively chose the Pinot. And I didn't make the wrong choice. An excellent bottle of wine for less than $15. A friend of mine at a swim club is one of Katie's loyal customers. He sent me to her. I walked into the shop. It was small but well-organized and professional. Katie offered me a tasting of wine right after we started to talk. I have been a wine drinker for over 45 years and the Rose she gave me was spectacular. What I quickly figured out that this is a niche business offering high quality wines from all over the world that one would not normally find at, for example, Costco or BevMoCo. Even nicer was the pleasant surprise that I got when I was quoted prices that are quite competitive with other wine sellers. Katie you have a loyal customer. What a local gem we have here in Pacifica. From the outside, it doesn't stand out in the shopping center, but it is worth seeking out.
