Love this place! I've been to all the wine tasting shops in San Mateo County, and this is by far the best one. It doesn't look like much from the outside but inside it's so cute and cozy with lots of comfortable places to sit, take a moment, and relax with a glass of wine. Best of all is the owner lady. She's the hostess with the mostess and exactly the warm, welcoming person you'd like to have help you at any restaurant or bar. Definitely stop by if you're passing through on highway 101 going to San Francisco or down to Santa Cruz! read more

I love this cozy spot and it's exactly the kind of wine bar I'd want to run when I retire! The owner is super warm and welcoming. the interior is so cozy and feels like you're sitting in someone's living room. Just outside you have a beautiful view of the water. Come here to watch the sunset and it's the vibe. I also saw they have live music on some nights. While it's a little bit of a trek from where we live, it's definitely a nice escape with some great wine! read more

The food was great and a great selection of wine, but I was surprised that they didn't have a flights menu. Additionally, if you sit outside, don't expect to be served at your table. The Coastal Vine is our go to wine place on the Coast. The owner, Shondra, is so welcoming and we enjoy hanging out and sipping her nice selection of wines along with a charcuterie plate. We've met some really nice, talented people there. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with ample seating in the front and back areas and the outdoor patio. We particularly enjoy the nights Shondra has local musicians play and her wine tasting events that coincide with her wine club pick ups. We always learn a lot from the winemakers and/or reps. We've rented The Coastal Vine for a small private party as well. A perfect venue. And, Shondra is a perfect host. read more

Fantastic selection of old world and new world wines. My fiancé and I had 6 glasses - a GSM, a Beaujolais, and a Cabernet franc. She had a Chianti and garnacha. For those from San Francisco and the Peninsula - this is a hidden gem only a 15 minute Uber ride away. They also have great events in the evening with music and jazz. This place feels like a comfortable living room with a view of the beautiful California coast with a glass of delicious wine. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back! read more

I'm glad we stopped here along our 11am walk to have some mimosas, meat and cheese plate. The owner of the place sets the mood as a relaxed laid back and very accommodating. Exactly what we were looking for. We will be back for their wine tastings and evening drinks on their back patio with fire pit tables. Got to LOVE this place, Fine wine, finger food and beautiful people are all to be found here. This beautiful place oozes with love and romance. I would gladly leave my 3 wife's back in Australia for just 3 hours talking to Shondra (the owner) about her lovely wines and her cat. Loved this place! Decided to take a drive from Pacifica one afternoon - shot straight down the coast to decompress after having "one of those days." Found this wine bar I've driven past a few times in a similar mood. I pulled in this time. And happy I did. Turned my mood around. Amazing atmosphere. Chill. Nothing pretentious about it.
