7/4/24 Zach and I decided to try out a local winery since we didn't want to make the drive up to Napa. We happened upon La Nebbia Winery. We were able to bring Coco there since they mostly have outdoor seating and when we got there it wasn't busy at all. Zach got the red wine flight and I got the white wine flight. We also got the pita bread and hummus as a snack. We were thinking that maybe the hummus was house made, but it wasn't. They could have at least scooped out the hummus to put on the place because putting the hummus container on the plate was unnecessary. The pita bread slices were rock hard and not warm at all. The wines were not that great either. The lady that helping us was really nice, but after she brought us the wines we didn't see her again until we paid. This might be a good place to go to if you're in a group and don't want to break the bank. If you wanted, I'd advise on bringing your own snacks since they don't have a lot to choose from.

A really great RETURNING experience. I would for sure recommend this winery with your HMB trip. Tyler Hall helped us throughout our time here making it very welcoming and fun. He had great recommendations for pairings and had great knowledge with the different wines. The service, ambiance, and wine selection made this stop well worth it. Thank you guys!

This place is nice. We love stopping by here when we come out to half moon bay. I love doing their red wine tasting and we also got their charcuterie board which is nice. I love that we can take our pup and sit outside there as well! Their team is always super nice and their wines are really good. I recommend them!

Just minutes from the Peninsula, La Nebbia Winery offers a wine country feel and experience. Nestled in between a Christmas tree farm and nurseries, this winery is charming! The wines are yummy and reasonably priced. There are some delectable snack offerings available to accompany your wine flight, glass, or bottle! The staff are so friendly and super accommodating. They have some parking in front of the tasting room and a larger lot next to the barn. The patio is incredibly cute, has lots of seating, and bocce ball! Finally, there's live music on Sundays.

Reese was our server for the afternoon and she was friendly, and courteous. La Nebbia winery is on the road that leads you to the Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival. I tried the combo flight and switched out the rosè for their sparkling wine. The Sparkling Wine was sweet and crisp, the 2019 Negroamara was smooth and light and oh so yummy with fruity and licorice notes, and lastly the 2012 Port paired with dark chocolate was spicy, an aroma that was sweet and chocolaty, and warmed my throat. I also tried the Petite Sirah it wasn't bold or tannic, smooth and paired oh so well with the dark chocolate. Overall, a lovely tasting of drinkable wines. We sat outside under the shade with bench and chairs with backing that was well received by my friends.

One of the best little tasting rooms ever!!! Please take a stop here! They have very well priced flights, and some amazing assortments of food, the infused olive oils and balsamic vinegars are to die for!! The staff is very excellent, always gets everything right and is very very kind! Tyler always takes care of us when we get to stop by and he is one of the best servers you can ask for! It's a very nice space with great indoor and outdoor seating, and they even have glass blowing if you are into that! Check this place out!!!

La Nebbia is the perfect place for a cute get together with friends! We drove up for the day on Saturday and it was 81!!! The picnic tables all had umbrellas that were able to provide shade and lots of water! My friends ordered a flight & a glass of wine. They also had non-alcoholic options such as apple cider in a wine glass which was awesome! We ordered a charcuterie board for 4 people ($42) and it honestly was a great assortment!! We did note we would've loved another type of cracker, but it was still the perfect pairing. The staff was super attentive and sweet during our visit :) We will be back during the fall!

This is a great place to enjoy with friends and family. It's a lovely setting with plenty of tables and umbrellas for shade. We spent several hours here on Thursday afternoon enjoying the wines and tasting various flights. We really enjoyed the patio and wine tasting. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our requests were timely and we felt well attended. We ordered the Build your own Charcuterie Board, The All About the Dippers Bread and a jar of olives. The snacks were good but unfortunately we went at lunch time. It would have been nice to have a larger selection of items to order. Or if they could do a reverse picnic basket fee as someone might do a bottle of wine corkage fee. We would have been happy to pay to bring in sandwiches and stay longer tasting the wines. Overall, it was a lovely outing with our friends and we do plan to return.

My husband ring me here to taste the wine. It was raining so I didn't had the chance to seat at their beautiful garden. We seat inside where they keep the wine and it was amazing. I love it and I strongly recommend this place to spend some relaxing time.

We had the 3-wine sampler and the sourdough bread. The bread came with a need to select two versions of olive oil and two versions of balsamic vinegar. We chose Mesquite and Fig balsamic and garlic and lemon olive oil. Wow!!! People were just sweet, atmosphere amazing even under construction. Cannot wait to come again!!! T&T

The crew and I stopped by this very cute winery off Highway 92 on the way back from our lunch buffet and was in the mood to try something local. The service was very friendly and let us try a few reds before making a selection. Most bottles were around the $30 price point. The negroamaro was definitely something new, but even after trying it, I opted for the Barbera. Definitely worth a stop and bringing back some bottles as gifts, but I preferred the flavor from other wineries. Next time try: - Port - Muscat

Stopped by here with some friends for wine and charcuterie. I ordered the Sauvignon Blanc and my friends got the combo flight. Beautiful spot to enjoy a glass of wine!

Very comfortable seating in the garden. You can watch glass blowing demo next door. The combo flight has good 2018 Chardonnay and 2016 Malbec. The cheese on snack has good selections and we got a whole block of Havarti for $8, not bad.

Venue: We held the ceremony and cocktail hour outside and the reception indoors. Guests loved the deck and waterfront views. It was a bit windy at first, but the deck blocked most of it. Our 3:45 PM May ceremony was shady, so I wouldn't recommend fans or parasols for the main lawn. There's also another ceremony area beyond the trees that looked sunnier, we used that area to take family formals. We had 7 tables inside, but it definitely can fit at least 8, though a few tables must be broken down for the dance floor. We used that space for younger guests, which worked fine. One of the biggest perks was the in-house catering and many inclusions, which made planning much easier. Not having to coordinate multiple vendors kept everything streamlined. From our first tour, Crystal and Lisa were wonderful. Crystal was especially helpful and was basically our wedding planner/day of coordinator. On the wedding day, she and the team even helped set up our DIY décor, which we really appreciated. We brought everything from SF, and they were very accommodating. The venue also has great coastal décor that fit our theme perfectly. Food: The complimentary tasting was fun! Trying the food, drinks, and picking linens made it feel more real. We didn't love the passed appetizers served that day, so we chose different menu items. Guests especially liked the clam chowder, mahi mahi, pesto penne, and hibiscus margarita! The tri-tip was a bit tough, but likely because of us pushing dinner to start a bit later. We also added stationed appetizers for cocktail hour and late-night flatbread. I'd suggest placing the flatbread on the deck instead of near the dance floor so guests can enjoy it more easily. DJ: We loved how connected the deck and reception space felt--you could step outside for a drink, still hear the music, and easily return to the dance floor. We chose Mark Addington from the venue's approved DJ list, and he was fantastic. He kept everything running smoothly and brought great energy to the celebration. Culture & Entertainment: We wanted to include a tea ceremony and lion dancing, and Maverick's House made both easy. The upstairs bridal suite was a peaceful setting for our tea ceremony, and the outdoor space worked perfectly for the lion dance. We were the first couple to have lion dancing at the venue, and we appreciated being able to do that. We're so grateful we chose Maverick's House and couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding!

Attended a founder/leader dinner here: patio heaters worked overtime so the conversation could keep flowing long after sunset (crucial--even in August, Half Moon Bay loves a chill). Inside, the place is clean, spacious, and well set up for groups that actually want to connect. No cheesy banquet hall vibes. Staff was on-point but never hovering. Bottom line: If you want a space where smart people can gather and the ocean energy does half the work for you, Mavericks House delivers. Worth booking if you care about atmosphere and want your event to feel memorable, not staged.

There was no ceiling fan, but they do have a couple of portable fans stored in the closets for use. Shower in our room had low water pressure, so not great for those with longhair.
