This is a beautiful spot with awesome surroundings, but unfortunately the wine and food just wasn't good. It might actually be the worst wine I've had at a winery... To the point where after getting the red flight and taking one minuscule sip of each one I couldn't consume them and left the glasses full. The menu specifically called out fresh baguette so we were expecting it to be fresh and warm and it was a little stale. I don't know if it was just a bad batch of wine but both of our flights missed the mark. Great spot for pictures and if you picnic - maybe stick to the white wines? read more

Went in on a Saturday around 3pm and were served quickly by a friendly employee. There weren't many people there and it was a very calm and cool atmosphere. 7/4/24 Zach and I decided to try out a local winery since we didn't want to make the drive up to Napa. We happened upon La Nebbia Winery. We were able to bring Coco there since they mostly have outdoor seating and when we got there it wasn't busy at all. Zach got the red wine flight and I got the white wine flight. We also got the pita bread and hummus as a snack. We were thinking that maybe the hummus was house made, but it wasn't. They could have at least scooped out the hummus to put on the place because putting the hummus container on the plate was unnecessary. The pita bread slices were rock hard and not warm at all. The wines were not that great either. The lady that helping us was really nice, but after she brought us the wines we didn't see her again until we paid. This might be a good place to go to if you're in a group and don't want to break the bank. If you wanted, I'd advise on bringing your own snacks since they don't have a lot to choose from. read more

Fun spot that we always see along the way back from Half Moon Bay. Glad we finally stopped by! You can get a 3 glass flight of either mixed or red wines. I ended up buying a bottle of red. The outdoor patio is fun and relaxing. There happened to be live music when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. They have two Bocce ball courts as well. A number of bites options including charceuterie boards, we had a 2 cheese plate which was very generous-- like a whole block of Brie that we even had to take more to finish! Reese was our server for the afternoon and she was friendly, and courteous. La Nebbia winery is on the road that leads you to the Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival. I tried the combo flight and switched out the rosè for their sparkling wine. The Sparkling Wine was sweet and crisp, the 2019 Negroamara was smooth and light and oh so yummy with fruity and licorice notes, and lastly the 2012 Port paired with dark chocolate was spicy, an aroma that was sweet and chocolaty, and warmed my throat. I also tried the Petite Sirah it wasn't bold or tannic, smooth and paired oh so well with the dark chocolate. Overall, a lovely tasting of drinkable wines. Nice unassuming place to just take in a sip or two. The grounds were clean with plenty of seating. I got to give it to Crystal the only employee who was providing service. She did an awesome job providing service with a smile. Hustle and bustle when she got hit with a steady flow of customers. She was pouring wine and preparing bites while running back and forth. They have very well priced flights, and some amazing assortments of food, the infused olive oils and balsamic vinegars are to die for!! This is a great place to enjoy with friends and family. It's a lovely setting with plenty of tables and umbrellas for shade. We spent several hours here on Thursday afternoon enjoying the wines and tasting various flights. We really enjoyed the patio and wine tasting. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our requests were timely and we felt well attended. We ordered the Build your own Charcuterie Board, The All About the Dippers Bread and a jar of olives. The snacks were good but unfortunately we went at lunch time. It would have been nice to have a larger selection of items to order. Or if they could do a reverse picnic basket fee as someone might do a bottle of wine corkage fee. We would have been happy to pay to bring in sandwiches and stay longer tasting the wines. The picnic tables all had umbrellas that were able to provide shade and lots of water! My friends ordered a flight & a glass of wine. They also had non-alcoholic options such as apple cider in a wine glass which was awesome! We ordered a charcuterie board for 4 people ($42) and it honestly was a great assortment!! I don't normally leave negative reviews. My wife and I have done a lot of wine tasting. This might have been the worst experience we have had. The wine was not good at all, but that would not be enough for a bad review. There was no information given by the hostess about the wine, winery, winemaker(s). The tasting was only 3 wines and there was no flexibility to change it even though they sell many wines by the glass and so have several other wines open. A glass of any of the wines costs the same amount, but they wouldn't let us buy a half glass of two different wines so we could taste more. All of these factors made this a one star experience. read more

The service was very friendly and let us try a few reds before making a selection. Most bottles were around the $30 price point. Once outside, it did take a little while for someone to come take our order. THE WINE: We got a few flights and each came with a wine glass. I think it's cute they use charger plates for the flight. My favorite was the pinot grigio because it was sweet. But tbh, couldn't tell the difference from the $5 Barefoot bottle of pinot grigio I get at Target to cook with. My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday right at opening (11:00am). To split we got the red flight and the white flight ($15 each) that featured 4 wines each. Decided to check out the local wine on a recent trip to Half Moon Bay. The hosts were flexible and let me swap out the Chardonnay for Rose' in the mixed flight. The outdoor seating was fun and rustic, while cool music (ranging from Sinatra to French bistro style tunes) played in the background. They had a list of delicious sounding marinades and BBQ sauces (had to take home the Chipotle bacon BBQ sauce and the Honey Jalapeño grilling glaze). Cute little winery with a good choice of wine flights and small bites. My partner and I happened across this cute little winery and decided to make a stop. There was a space for garden seating and the weather was great so we decided on that. We checked in at the host stand and were instructed to seat anywhere we liked and were given menus. There were plenty of wooden picnic tables with umbrellas to choose from, there also appeared to be a small outdoor event space that was hosting a party of some sort. We each ordered a red wine flight ($15 each). The flight came with 3 wines. The Barbera was our favorite. We also ordered a charcuterie ($38 for a choice of 1 cheese, 1 salami, crackers, including a gluten free option, nuts and chocolates). The nuts and chocolate were the type you could buy at a convenience store. We also ordered the Dipper plate with baguette bread (very basic) and a choice of two olive oils (I chose jalapeño and garlic- amazing) and two balsamic vinegars (pomegranate and Italian). The food and service were just ok. The original host that was helping us delivered our charcuterie and then disappeared. Luckily, another host/server came by and asked if we needed anything else. We asked about our Dipper plate and she brought it out. The food was a serve it yourself type of situation (as shown in pics). It all came in plastic packaging and we had to open packaging and cut it ourselves. It was very strange. Everything was served in plastic packaging with paper plates and napkins. The wine was good. But if I wanted to prepare my own charcuterie and snacks, I would opt to bring them in myself rather than pay their inflated prices. read more

Just imagine the most dreamy winery located in Half Moon Bay on the Pacific Coast. This place is straight out of a storybook and is a treasured gem. Parking is extremely easy, just pull up and park and then head over to the main entrance where you meet wonderful hosts who explain all that they have to offer. After grabbing menus, you can head over to the most beautiful garden and grab your table. You then place your order and enjoy. The flights were absolutely delicious and tasty wine options. What was most delightful was the fact that everything was local on the charcuterie board and the service was especially darling. La Nebbia has the same nice vibe, bocce court, and spacious seating as always. My girlfriends and I have come two years in a row to celebrate one of our birthdays. However, a year ago (pre-COVID) they were more chill about outside decorations & food. Now, with what seems to be new ownership, we had to pay a $50 fee to have decorations (a happy birthday sign, paper flowers, and one decorative string). And while outside food is technically allowed, we were given a little bit of a guilt trip bringing our own food (she mentioned supporting local businesses who provide their cheese or something). So we made an order of hummus and chips, and they were both packaged containers from the grocery store. So much for supporting local businesses. read more

Nice atmosphere, beautiful garden, has potential, but management needs to work out the kinks. I've visited half a dozen times since the new mgt took over a few years back. It is consistently under-staffed on weekends with an inefficient service model. It may take up to 20 min before you are actually sipping wine in the garden. With only 2-3 staff, it would be better if they check you on at indoor bar, provide you, your wine and glasses and let you wander to a seat of your choosing. This is a model that works really well at other local wineries. Winery currently offers a limited food menu of packaged items...but don't allow outside food. Again, if they were more flexible in allowing food, it would attract more guests to bring their own picnic lunch and enjoy more bottles of wine. Without a full menu and without food trucks...eating/lunch is limited. The winery has potential. read more

Just moved here from Washington, DC amd this place is simply the best. Vanessa who is the manager gives this place just want it needs, sweet love and kind care in how she greets ALL guests!!!! Saw this place driving on my way to Half Moon Bay and it looked welcoming! Great prices and even greater surprises as you look at the back yard. I'll be back again and again for certain. By the way, they are under new management and working toward getting the food items in tip top shape for presentation. Don't worry. The cheese snd crackers come on a paper plate and you must cut the cheese. Don't be alarmed.....its very unpretentious and a place that is a work in progress. So sad to see a business fallen this far in just a few years. My wife and I had so many fond memories from this place before we were married, but it has gone downhill with the new management team. Long gone are the classy and charming vibes. Management has chosen to replace that with nickle and diming customers whenever the opportunity presents itself. The customer service was good. Like others stated I think the pours could be a little heavier, but it's a $10 tasting and they are sticking to the rules. The grounds are nice. It would've been cool to see people utilizing the bocci ball. I think a little more maintenance needs to be done, but overall it is nice. We bought lavender, cheese and the small bottle of champagne which seemed old when I opened it. Definitely different taste, but it was the smaller bottle. I would make this a stop in town, but not become a member of the wine... only because I didn't favor the whites like other wineries. Just my preference.
