****beware**** Mullins WITHOUT A DOUBT , dilutes or water-downs their alcohol. We sat at the bar and ordered an old fashioned. Suspecting something was "off" about the drink, we proceeded to say it tasted watered down. Originally hailing from kentucky, my wife and I have a nose for the brown nectar of the gods. Suffice to say they didn't believe us though other patrons at the bar thought the same thing . More to come .... Stay away

This restaurant is right in Ritz Carlton's zone so you'd have to let the guy in the parking lot know you're heading here and they'll let you through. Got here around 11:30, and it was pretty empty but it got busy in about an hour. Service: 5/10. The waiters here are nice but they're definitely not attentive. We had to walk up to them to ask for a table-- the waitress told us anywhere so we sat outside and asked her to wipe the table because it was wet... she said sure and never came back. A different server almost spilled water on us, and we ended up having to walk up to them and ask for our check and boxes. Food: 8/10. Fish sliders- The fish was cooked perfectly-- melted in our mouth and so so soft. Clam chowder- A little bit too salty, very little clams, and too many pieces of bacon. It was delicious though! Fried chicken sandwich- Generous serving. Chicken was fried to perfection and very tender. Tuna salad- SO good! Pretty sure tuna was house-made as it was fluffy and fresh. Vegetables served with this were also fresh and cut up into bite sized pieces. Mullin's Frito Misto- Calamari, prawns, and French fries. Wasn't too greasy, thank god. I could tell they were freshly fried as they were crispy on the outside and soft on the outside. We really liked how the French fries were seasoned! All 5 dishes were shared among 4 adults, and we still had leftovers. I would recommend this restaurant for their delicious bar food, but I wouldn't expect too much from in terms of service.

A casual spot with a lively vibe, perfect for a family or ladies lunch. Great service, full bar and the food is delicious. Lucky to have Mullins in my neighborhood.

You are allowed to order two items at a time during the 90 minute brunch portion. You then have 30 minutes for the dessert items, though the waiter did say we could order more brunch items during that time too. I maxed out during round 5. Round 1: The MARIN COUNTY CHEESE TASTING and the PAN SEARED SCALLOP. There were three types of cheese on the plate with some fig jam and some raisin bread. Everything was super tasty. Loved the fig jam. The scallop was very nicely cooked. Loved the truffle foam. It was supposedly polenta foam but it was very smooth and not grainy at all. Round 2: CAVATELLI and CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES. I think the pasta was my favorite meal of the day. It had a great truffle and parmesan flavor. Soft pasta. Yum. The pancakes were also delicious. Nice and fluffy with melted chocolate chips. I did hold the ricotta cream from it as I know I don't like it. Round 3: LOBSTER ROLL and WAGYU BEEF SLIDER. The lobster roll was tasty but messy. I don't like caviar so I had that held. The slider was very tasty. The sauce on it was a bit too BBQ-sauce flavor for me but overall not a bad bite. Round 4: I did the ORGANIC MAITAKE MUSHROOM and another scallop. The mushrooms were super flavorful. Loved the crispy rice puffs on them. Round 5: I just did on plate - the BELGIAN WAFFLES. I loved the waffles. Crispy outside, soft inside. Warm apples on top and a big dollop of whipped cream. Yum! Dessert: There were carrot cakes, coconut macaroons, strawberry shortcakes and a chocolate pistachio balls. I only add the carrot cake there and took the rest home for later. The staff was very good. Always taking away empty plates and refilling drinks and water. A splurge of a meal but worth it for good food and service.

At almost $200 pp, we went in wanting to make sure we could order as much as we could during the time limit of the unlimited brunch. However, we didn't have to worry - the service was so fast, that by the end we were well stuffed that the time restraint was moot. Each person can order 2 dishes at a time, and we had the chance to cover everything we wanted to try off the menu and order our favorites multiple times. Some highlights were definitely the scallop and lamb (even as non-lamb lover). The salad also surprisingly stood out, it was really great to eat this paired with the seafood/meats especially towards the end of the meal. I also really enjoyed trying the different caviars, and always love a solid wagyu slider. Only wished they had cornichons to pair with the slider, but appreciate that the staff tried to find pickles for us in the kitchen. The meal ended with a afternoon tea tower of pastries, which we were at that point way too stuffed to take in. The one pastry I tried though, was really delicious, not too sweet. All in all, 10/10 experience. The cherry on top was the complimentary champagne for our celebration! Truly a splendid experience.

Food We ordered 3 burgers, a curry carrot coconut milk soup, and their cream dessert. Burgers were nice, but nothing super special. They were served on sliced bread instead of burger buns. What made the burger interesting were the pickled onions and over medium/hard egg. The soup was fun to try, but not amazing. Carrots could've been softer, the seeds had a fun texture. Coconut milk could've been more blended in. My husband enjoyed the dessert. Service A fairly neutral experience. There's a long line to order, the cashier is nice enough, and then they call out your name to receive your order. Ambiance It's a cute little restaurant just off of highway one. Most of the seating is outdoors in the parking lot. There's lots of tree coverage. Inside the restaurant it has surf shack vibe.

I had the quail as a starter and the venison, as my entree. The quail was very well, seasoned and well cooked with very juicy and tender and flavorful meat. The crust was perfectly crispy and was flavorful as well. The venison did not taste gamey at all and was melt in your mouth tender, i really enjoyed this dish. Finally, I had the panna cotta as a dessert, which we confirmed with the restaurant was vegetarian without gelatin. Very light panna cotta without being too cloyingly sweet.I really enjoyed this one too. Everyone else really enjoyed their meals as well. And had nothing but good things to say. Everything we had was delicious and very balanced. Even with a super low spice tolerance, the heat in all the dishes was not just tolerable, but even delicious. I think the dish I'd most recommend is the pork shank. Everything about it was super surprising and incredibly delicious. It literally fell off the bone and had a ton of texture with a melty, tender inside and a sticky, crunchy exterior. I would eat just this for a whole meal! I have a severe tree nut allergy. Before ordering, I informed our server of my allergy and asked him to identify every dish that contained nuts so I could safely participate in our family-style business dinner. He assured me he would take care of it and specifically pointed out one dish that contained hazelnuts. Later, a golden beet dish was served to the table with no mention that it contained cashews. After taking a few bites, my tongue immediately began tingling. When I asked if the dish contained nuts, our server had to go back to the kitchen to check. He returned and explained that the dish did, in fact, contain cashews and that he didn't know they had recently been added to the recipe. This is exactly the type of mistake allergy protocols are supposed to prevent. Even after it was confirmed that the dish had triggered an allergic reaction, the plate remained on our table until I specifically asked for it to be removed. At the time, I was over six months PREGNANT and traveling alone for work. I had to take Benadryl, leave my business dinner early, miss the remainder of the evening with my colleagues, and spent much of the night vomiting, experiencing gastrointestinal distress, and recovering before a full day of meetings the next morning. I recognize that ingredient changes happen. What is unacceptable is failing to communicate those changes to the staff responsible for protecting guests with serious allergies. The next day, I immediately sent a detailed email to the restaurant's management and owner explaining what happened and asking what changes they planned to make to prevent this from happening to someone else. I never received a response even 2 months later. To make matters worse, I later learned they only removed the charge for the single dish that caused the allergic reaction, despite the significant impact the incident had on my evening, as well as my colleagues, and the obvious seriousness of the situation. I'm incredibly fortunate that my reaction did not progress to anaphylaxis. Another guest may not be so lucky. If you or someone you're dining with has a serious food allergy, I would think very carefully before eating here. A restaurant can make mistakes, but how it responds afterward (or shall I say lack of response) says just as much about its commitment to guest safety; and in my experience, that response was deeply disappointing.
