We love Katie and we love Table Wine. When I moved to Pacifica, the first thing I looked for was a new wine store and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Table Wine is eclectic, affordable, and we always look forward to our new bottles . We often call in our case, Katie can look us up in the computer system, see exactly what we've ordered in the past, and then pick us out a new case for us to pick up. At $10-$20 a bottle, we're happy to ditch the Safeway bottles and opt for something hand-picked and guaranteed to be amazing. We love the stories behind every bottle and knowing that these bottles can easily be given as gifts without the concern of quality. We recently visited Table Wine for a group wine tasting company event. Katie was easy to work with and extremely accommodating with our group's needs. When we arrived, I was blown away by the thoughtful preparations and beautiful set up. She had designed a custom tasting menu just for us, and even decorated the shop's chalkboard with our logo. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, the wine was delicious, and Katie's knowledge of the selections is astounding. She also mentioned they will do events for businesses in their offices as well as in the store. I will be stopping by the shop every time I am in Pacifica and highly recommend it to all! read more

This family run business has opened up my mind and palate up to the world of wine beyond Cali. The wine dinners and events are also reasonable and fun. I just found this place. I love it. The owners are so friendly! I told them what I was kinda looking for and was given a few descriptions and options on what she suggested. I had one bottle already and I liked it! Then I noticed they had tastings!!!! It was a rose night and I loved the variety they offered during the tasting. I ended up taking a can of a rose/cider mix home - it was surprisingly tasty and I'll be back for more. The prices on the bottles and tastings are beyond reasonable. I walked out of there with 2 bottles of red, a can of rose/cider and tastings all for under $40!!!!!!! It's got such an inviting atmosphere I will definitely be back - for more wine and more tastings. So happy to have found this place. Definitely recommend it to everyone. read more

I moved from Pacifica to about a year ago and I have to say, one of the things I miss most is Table Wine!

Table Wine has been on my list of places to try since we moved to Pacifica last fall. Saturday we finally stopped in to check it out and enjoy some tastings. Katie, the owner, was a fantastic host. What I love best about Table Wine is the care that Katie takes to assemble a diverse selection of wines from around the world that taste amazing but cost less than $20! Love this place! As an East Coaster, I really appreciate the variety and global selection that they have as too many spots on the peninsula only specialize in California wines. The tastings are reasonably priced and always make for good conversation. Just go in here and tell them what you are having for dinner and you will walk out with a perfectly paired wine you have never heard of. Most of the wines are all under $20. I love this local business!! They always have the best, unique wine in stock for all preferences. I always choose here verses Safeway for a fantastic bottle of wine for the same price. Katie and her wife are great and always helpful when looking for a particular wine for a specific occasion or just to pair with food. They also have a great selection of unique beer you won't be able to find near Pacifica, I can assure you, I usually have to go in to the city for most of the German beer they have in stock. I love this wine shop. My mother in law brought my a dry sparkling red and I was obsessed. I went to several stores including bevmo looking for a dry sparkling red only to discover they are hard to come by. I went to Table Wine on a whim and they had it, it was fabulous, and it was significantly less than my mother in law paid (granted different labels). I also went in for a wine to go with raw oysters and they came through with a terrific Muscadet. Support your local wine shop! read more

These women and their staff OMG!!! Life to me without wine is not a life worth living. At Table Wine I've finally found a place to worship. Best selection, prices, and knowledge, that they will without pretentiousness delve into ...and could these women be any more down to earth, warm, and friendly. The staff are very knowledgeable about their product and provide a great recommendation every time I go in; I have not been disappointed with any of their picks, and they always have whatever I'm looking for! My husband and I visited this weekend. We frequent HMB Wine & Cheese as the closest venue vs. San Fran. We tried the 5 table ($10) + 3 beaujolais ($6) tastings - the owner is extremely knowledgeable and educated us on each and every tasting. We are by no means experts but have had wide experiences with wine in general over the years and by visiting many countries. It's a cool and relaxing vibe in the shop. They definitely offer different wines from around the world that are affordable and varied vs. Safeway. In fact, we didn't see any California wines which is actually refreshing. We bought 3 bottles and because we purchased those that we sampled in the tastings, the tastings were gratis. I feel that you have to experiment and explore to develop your palette. It's a never ending journey that makes it wonderful. So glad to see something so close to home. read more

We stopped by this quaint little shop in Linda Mar Shopping Center and boy were we pleasantly surprised .... The proprietor was friendly welcoming and extremely knowledgable about wine. We picked a bottle of great Pinot Noir and a bottle of Sauv Blanc from New Zealand at some very great prices and we are looking forward to opening them with friends/ family soon. Purchased gift certificates for teacher holiday gifts and a very nice bottle of Pinot Noir. What really stood out for me was how kind the vibe was. I totally felt comfortable describing the taste I like my Pinot to be and not only was I kindly recommended a very nice one but I was given a quick guide to choosing ones I like in the future.
