The appetizers here are a highlight--not only are they incredibly flavorful, but the portions are remarkably generous. Crispy Brussels Sprouts ($17 CAD): This dish was an absolute steal. It featured an abundance of crispy prosciutto, candied nuts, apple pieces, and a rich maple-Dijon vinaigrette. The blend of textures and the balance of salty and sweet flavors were phenomenal. The portion was so massive it took me three additional meals to finish it. Mussels + Frites ($22 CAD for appetizer / $28 CAD for entrée): We opted for the appetizer size, which provided an abundance of mussels bathed in a perfectly balanced roasted garlic, tomato, and white wine broth. Pork Belly + Scallops ($27 CAD): Unlike the others, this was a standard-sized appetizer rather than "ginormous," but it packed a massive punch of flavor. While I did not taste the compressed watermelon listed on the menu, this dish offered a wonderful harmony of umami...the sweetness of fresh scallops with the saltiness of maple-glazed pork belly. The contrast between the crunchy pork belly, tender scallops, and delicate whispy pea tendrils was excellent. House-Baked Demi-Baguette ($10 CAD): This was so popular that our family of five ended up ordering two more. It was the quintessential baguette: a thin crunchy crust with an airy, soft interior and just a subtle hint of sourdough. Table Caesar Salad ($16 CAD): Slightly larger than a standard appetizer but not ginormous, this salad was classically delicious and easily fed three of us. For the main course, the Braised Beef Entrée ($38 CAD) featured a generous portion of boneless Certified Angus Beef short rib. It was exceptionally tender and melted in the mouth, having thoroughly absorbed the rich red wine and pearl onion pan jus. It was served on top of a truffled celeriac purée that delivered a bold punch of truffle flavor. As a bonus, the celery root purée was just as satisfying as traditional mashed potatoes but with a much lower carbohydrate index. While I was too full to try my father-in-law's Curry Grilled Cauliflower, the fact that he completely polished off his plate speaks volumes. Table Food + Drink restaurant delivers an exceptional meal that is well worth every dollar. It is a must-visit when in Canmore. Also Jemish (server from Nepal) was very kind. Stopped at Table for breakfast on a recent trip to Canmore. Excellent food and service. I had the Benedict which is my go-to when on vacation and eating out for breakfast. Their hollandaise was a bit non -traditional with a spice or herb I could r quite figure out, but thought was delightful. My wife and daughter found their dishes equally well-thought out. Also, the proportions were quite large for reasonable prices. This is not a cheap place, but the quality was more than commensurate to the price. Well worth it! read more

Decided to drop in here for lunch as my previous experience here was very good. The host and waitress were very accommodating and friendly. As can be expected being a restaurant in a hotel it was very clean, relaxing with upbeat background music that was very soothing. The restaurant was empty which was surprising for such a big hotel at 1pm on a Thursday. I ordered the BBQ Jerk Chicken with Truffle fries. They have a nice outdoor patio which looks very inviting and good seating capacity. There is a very nice fireplace in the restaurant. Both the Jerk Chicken and Truffle fries were very tasty and I was not disappointed. I would have given them 5 stars but the menu is limited in selection for lunch. Otherwise, absolutely great. We went to Table almost accidentally after our initial plan fell through, and I'm so glad we did! It was the best meal we've had while on vacation. I had the Moroccan lamb shank, and the flavor was amazing. My husband's short rib was also very flavorful and tender. The sides added to each dish. Visited Table during a visit to Kananaskis. It's a really cute restaurant with a nice mountain feel. We had the cheese board to share, which was excellent. The pickled onions and beets in particular were great. For entrées, we got the seafood curry and the halibut. The halibut was, sadly, overcooked and not entirely edible. However, the staff were great about it and offered to either replace it or discount our bill. The curry, though, was a winner. Spicy, fresh and fragrant, with lots of tender bites of seafood. The main damper on the evening was a table of *extremely* loud men who spent the entire time we were there shouting, hooting, and shrieking, despite the restaurant being very quiet and close to empty. I wish the staff had been more willing to ask them to be lower the volume, because the constant shouting meant It was basically impossible to have a conversation. They took about an hour to give us our food after we ordered, and after we received it, they took forever to give us an extra lemon slice that we asked for. All this waiting doesn't make any sense since the restaurant is completely empty other than some people on the bar and just one other table with people. Even after all of this, the food was alright. Ok I admit I was very judgment of this place being located in a hotel. But we ordered a charcuterie plate for appetizer, steak sandwich and BLT sandwich. Charcuterie board was basic but good. Our small company has a weekend away for Christmas each year. We chose Canmore and then chose this restaurant for our nice dinner out on saturday. We made the reservation a few months ago. When we arrived I was immediately disappointed by the cafeteria-like atmosphere. Not hip, not current and not fun. The menus are placemats???? Mine had dried food on it. The wine list is very limited. We waited over 10 min. before someone even came over to talk to us or get a drink order. The first words the waitress spoke to me were condescending and rude. We ordered some wine and cocktails and they arrived in good time but then we sat there for another 15 min and no one had come back to take appy orders or anything. We decided to ditch this place and go somewhere else. I am not paying mid to high prices for such poor service and a lousy atmosphere. We left and went to Murrietta's. I'm baffled by the rave reviews of this restaurant. The atmosphere is akin to a hospital cafeteria and nothing about this place matches up with their prices. read more

Not sure why this place is not busy because we liked it a lot. The porterhouse was amazing, nice and juicy. They advertise it for two but I think you can easily feed 3 ppl with it. Let me start off with saying the food here is amazing! My bf and I went there to celebrate my birthday. We didn't have a reservation so we sat in the lounge, at a small bistro table. The cocktails were elegantly prepared and so delicious. For dinner, I had the duck breast and my bf had cioppino. This is one of the best restaurants in Canmore (and potentially Banff). I went for dinner on a bachelor party last night. I felt like trying out the pork, and I'm so glad I did. The pork itself was crusted with espresso and cooked perfectly. The sauce and green salad that came with it complimented it so well. The sauce was almost a soy-based mixture, with a great lime glaze. The green quinoa salad had so much flavour. The grilled kale gave it such a nice balance of freshness and savoury. I'll definitely be going back to try more dishes. Or just have the pork again.
