Nastiest boba place ever. I order matcha with real milk and it taste like syrup with milk. You couldn't even taste the matcha. At first I didn't want to complain. But I couldn't take one more sip of the drink. I went back in to complain. The person who made my drink asked if I wanted something else. I asked for jasmine milk tea. And it taste like water and boba in a cup. Also the boba was hard and not chewy. Never coming here again. read more

My taro milk tea was a little watered down but the Thai milk tea had a good amount of sweetness and flavor. Nice and clean decor inside. One of the guys working was nice enough to remake my drink after I asked him to take out the boba out of the drink he had already made me. This was my first time here and I plan to come back and give the taro another try :) read more

Placed an order for the snack sampler at 4:15 pm. It was pretty busy so I patiently waited for 20 minutes before I went up to the counter to check my order. Cashier said it was coming soon so I sat back down and waited another 14 minutes before I went up and asked another person about my order. This person said that they did not make it yet. I just asked for my money back and they apologized and refunded me. I wish I could get my 35 minutes back also but oh well.... read more

I am not much of a boba person, however I must say T4 has changed my mind. It's a pretty regular and typical selection just like all boba places. However, I swear they have the best grass jelly boba tea I have ever tasted. I have no idea what it is, but the grass jelly is nice and chewy and just the right amount of sweetness. Grass jelly gone wild, I was mind blown :O I also tried their lobster balls and fried chicken. Lobster balls is a no go, basically something you buy from 99 ranch in the frozen section. Fried chicken was pretty decent, I still prefer Quickly's fried chicken. I wish they had more basil in the chicken, they literally only had 2 pieces of basil...maybe basil is expensive these days... They also have a selection of games such as uno, cards, battleships, so it's a good place to hang out with friends. BEWARE the battleships smelled like crap...I don't know if someone rubbed their butt on it or what, but omg it smelled so bad I had to play uno. read more

Great spot for a quality milktea and or boba (if they are in stock) I like the options here but since there are so many to choose from I just go with the roasted oolong milktea with grass jelly or pudding or boba. But don't take my word for it, Try it out! read more

I had a hankering for pmt, and it was not met here. I mean technically yes but I was left sad that I ingested these calories. Watery tea is a big no-no, honey. TEA AIN'T THAT EXPENSIVE! I'M PAYING A BOATLOAD FOR TEA CAN'T YOU AT LEAST MAKE IT TASTE LIKE TEA? Sorry, it's a pet peeve. read more

I needed to cool down after eating two super spicy dishes at Wonderful down the street. They have a pretty decent size menu but I felt like a milk tea so I went with the Jasmine Milk Tea. Like a lot of places now, you can customize how much sugar and ice you want. I usually get 70% sweetness and that's usually sweet enough. The Jasmine Milk tea was okay. It was a little watered down and even though I like Jasmine, there was too much of it. My sister also got the Candy Pear Black Tea. Let's just say it didn't taste like candy and it was really interesting. Overall, it was okay. read more

Really great spot in downtown Millbrae with a lot a bubble tea options but also other drinks and snacks. It's a little ways down the street, but worth the walk as it's way better than a lot of other bubble tea places in that there's a lot of seating and they have fun games like (connect 4) for you to sit around and play if you have time. I had the earl gray milk tea with Boba - only 30% sweet and it was plenty sweet enough. Others had the matcha which was great. This is going to be our go to spot in Millbrae for bubble tea. read more

I'm a huge boba drinker. I have tried boba from all over the bay. T4 is a pretty good chain. This is the closest T4 to me. Their drinks have heavy tea flavor, which is just the way I like it. My favorite is their roasted oolong milktea. It has good tea flavor. I also like their rose milk tea as well. With their snacks, their basil popcorn chicken is one of the best! The chicken is not too dry and at the same time, smells super good a mile away. If you get a 5 stars card, they will periodically send you a buy one get one free. That's an awesome deal! They also have happy hours between 5:30- 7:30pm, where the drinks and snacks are cheapers. Parking is not too bad on the weekdays. However, Friday nights and the weekend, you might have to find a place further away. I can't say that service are that great because they got bunch high school and college students working. There was one time I went, there was one high school looking girl standing behind the counter on her phone. When my cashier asked her a question, she was like "I don't fucking know", and she went back looking at her phone. Not saying that has much impact on me, but she definitely didn't leave me a good impression. Nonetheless, I don't care much about service and I'll still come back for the drinks. read more

It was very busy. Only 1 cashier. Only 1 person making drinks. The guy making drinks was working incredibly slow. When they washed out pitchers, cups, and any other things, they just rinsed them. No soap, no scrub. Some of the clear pitchers have black stuff along the walls and the bottom. Could just be stains from the tea, but at least try to scrub it or use soap. I was there waiting for my drink for about 20 minutes and saw them wash about 10-15 items this way. Also, none of the staff were friendly at all. 2 stars because the tea was decent. read more

Walking through my hometown observing the changes and taking in the ambience of amazing shops and places to eat. I fancy myself a boba enthusiast and I treat myself to one a month just to enjoy and savor the taste. So, super obvious this is where I would choose to take a seat and relish in the yummies ahead. I think I'm going to start writing reviews on my down time again. I feel like my elite status is going to waste if I don't. Haha I've been to the T4 in San Leandro and Dublin alone with this one and I've noticed they only get subpar reviews. Maybe I'm missing something because for me I find T4 to have really consistent flavors. But then I really only order the Oolong tea topped with cream 50% sweet with grass jelly and it just tastes wonderful. I know this location is new, they are eager to please so bear with them for the slowness, I do genuinely hope they speed up their service when they do get busy. Originally I was going to write a super negative review, but I came back and the employees are nice. Consistent food and drinks, free wifi, decent seating and an open location, wins a few points in my book. Cheers! read more

The drinks here are not bad especially during happy hr. It's happy hour that's why I didn't give it a 1 star. But one time I ordered a hot milk tea, that came out warm. Like a drink that was sitting out in the sun warm. So I give back to them for a reheat. It's normal sometimes for it to not be in the correct temperature. The person behind gave a super attitude shake on the head, like I did something wrong. I didn't get a name but he is the tallest one in the back usually making drinks or acting like he is busy. Bad customer service!! Does one bad egg spoils the rest.. maybe.. with that kind of attitude I would throw my drink away. So if they messed up on your drink, you can go exchange it and get some FREE bad attitude! read more

The vibes are cute but yeah the service could be improved. I laughed when I saw all the other reviews about the girl on her phone. She really is glued to her phone until the moment you step up to the counter. I think that's the only time she gets off her phone. I mean I'm not one to talk but I feel like if you're in customer service you should atleast pretend to give the customers your awareness and attention. I came yesterday and it took forever for them to make my drink, but I think the wait was worth it. The elegant rose aloe was so delicious! I love the rose flavor and the aloe jellies were so fun to eat. Like a bite of sweetness to go with the rose flavor. The avocado slush had real avocados, a nice flavor and the sweetness was just right. read more

No. No. NOOOOO. Why does this place have decent reviews??? I heard good things about this place and came by because my favorite boba place, Tiger Tea, was closed for the night. Got the earl grey milk tea with boba, less sweet, less ice. I couldn't finish even HALF of it. It was still overly sweet, you can taste whatever syrup or powder or whatever weird sugar they put in it, bad aftertaste, and the BOBA WAS SOGGY. It was like chewing on slimey, melty yuckiness. I don't think I'd ever spend money on giving this place another try. Especially since better boba places are so close by. I just need to get my boba earlier and not be stuck with "whatever is open late." BOO. read more

Tea is good. But space seems a bit dirty and needs better up keeping. Popcorn chicken was made in old oil. Service is so so.

So much for cutting milk tea out of my life. T4 hooked me back in and it's getting bad. I'm usually in Millbrae regularly to grab something to eat and to go grocery shopping, and now I find myself regularly pulling up to this place to get my roasted oolong tea with creme. This place is getting pretty popular. I came by one Saturday, and the line was never ending. Unfortunately, that meant it took about 15 minutes to get my drink, but at least there's a lot of entertaining things to do there. The TV is always on and board games a plenty are on the side. Other drinks the family enjoys are the jasmine milk tea, mango smoothy and chocolate smoothie. I tried their watermelon slushy too which was pretty good. Boba is soft and chewy and their pudding is ok. The tea flavor is pretty good and consistent. There's a lot of snacks they offer, but I have yet to try any of them. The only thing is that this place is pretty loud and just typing that makes me feel pretty old. Whateves...I can handle it to get my tea drink on. Oh, and they have a happy hour from 5:30 - 7:30 and also a student discount during the weekdays. Because, you know, they need any discount they can get. read more

Roasted Oolong Milk Tea gets two thumbs up! T4 has a big space so there's plenty of seating if you have a big group of friends. They even have board games if you plan to hang out for awhile. Hard to find parking here! Sometimes have to park away but always nice to have a T4 on this side of the bay for the times when I'm over here so I'm not stuck drinking Quickly or itea or something. One of the nicer looking T4's and plenty of games. Third time here, and I was disappointed. Staff wasn't overall too friendly. Drinks were badly made. I decided to try something new today and tried their watermelon slush with boba (since I usually don't see it other T4's in my area (probably because it's seasonal so it's not on the menu). Anyway, the drink was super watery even though I asked for standard sweetness and tasted a bit off, plus I feel that I just tasted the sweetness from the boba. I ended up throwing it away and buying another drink, I bought my usual Jasmine green tea and it tasted way too sweet and had a weird aftertaste to it unlike other T4's I have been to. I ended up just adding a bit water to it, but it was alright. 3 stars only because I had a good experience the first two times I have been here, and maybe if I'm in the area, I will give it another shot. read more

Pro: Popcorn chicken is fried without basil and is to die for! Fast service Drinks are consistent Con: Online pickup order, don't even bother you'll get your items faster if you order within. I've ordered 4 times In advance via yelp, parked within 5 mins after the order and didn't go into the shop until arrived 10 mins later and they haven't even seen my order. The counter person literally had to look on his cellphone to check for my order. However they prioritized my order and it took them about 2 mins. I had their special--kumquat grapefuit tea. I asked for no sugar, but apparently they use syrup so it was pretty sweet. It had some tiny grapefruit slivers at the bottom, so at least it wasn't completely fake. $3.85 with no boba added. Tasty! I'd get it again. read more

Nice little tea shop for bubble tea in Mr. Piano's neck of the woods :) It's a little loud inside, and has been really crowded both times I've been here, so I wouldn't stick around, but this is a great place to grab a boba to go! Also, they take FiveStars :D I originally wanted a perilla plum green tea, but the guy at the register claimed they no longer have it here D: So sad, as I love perilla/shiso; perhaps I'll be able to find it at another time or another location. I settled on passionfruit green with fig jelly (appears to be the same as aiyu jelly or date jelly at other boba places) and pearls, and Mr. Piano got the avocado smoothie. On my next visit, I had liked my taste of Mr. Piano's avocado smoothie so much that I got one myself :) I didn't think I would like it (sweet avocado???), but it's not that sweet and it somehow works :P As I mentioned, the place tends to be crowded, and I don't think the staff gets much of a chance to get out and clear the tables much, so it could have stood to be a little cleaner (but you can't totally blame them with a line that goes to the door). I like the bright aqua color that seems to be the brand color, and they have random Chinese comics and whatnot by the entrance for people in the store to read, presumably. The staff seems friendly, if a little harried/overbusy every time I'm there, so I think they're doing a good job. Great to-go boba place, with what looks like a good variety of flavors. The drinks I've had so far have been great, so I'm pretty happy with it and I'll definitely be coming by again :D read more

A sharetea copy cat. Not really sure who came first. Nice hang out area for the guests and lots of selection on drinks and food. But overall I was disappointed with their drinks and food. Ordered the Okinawa milk tea, tastes more like regular milk tea and watered down. Popcorn chicken has no taste, maybe the cook forgot to put salt and pepper. I might come back next time I am around the area, I am guessing maybe they had just recently opened and not have their acts together yet. read more

The worst lychee milk tea Boba drink i ever had. First one was water down. She was nice enough to remake it. 2nd one was packed with artificial flavor & too sweet which syrup just stuck to my tongue. Thats was absolutely nasty. Also the "basil" popcorn chicken has totally no basil flavor whatsoever. Not even a single basil in the bag of popcorn chicken... Why do you even call it that? I hate giving bad reviews but it is definitely deserved here. Bad service. Over 20 minute wait for 1 boba smoothie. By the time I got it, the "smoothie" was an ice layer, liquid layer and , mushie boba that didn't even fill up to the top. It was only 3/4 of the way full. What was supposed to be pineapple tasted like whatever was made last in the blender. I always play taste test with my kids to have them guess flavors. They are so good at it. They guessed coffee! There was not even a hint of fruit flavor in it! Disgusting is really the short story. For $6+ dollars that was definitely waste of my time and money. Never again. Do NOT come here!!! read more

Been a guest four times and each time had something incorrect or shoddily prepared so I definitely gave them a fair chance across the menu. Their portion sizes vary dramatically and there is little consistency with the quality of orders. This last time, the the tea order was not correct, the sweetener was not added making the Thai tea taste almost like plain milk, not worth it. The popcorn chicken, while tender was fried in the same oil as their calamari strips so the popcorn chicken tasted like spicy oily calamari, not enough cleaning out of the fryer and its oil. I also stopped ordering their fries with a tea because they were underdone every. single. time. Here's me like a boob ordering fries on a return visit hoping they will be regular this time but they were mushy and underdone three times, maybe I should be glad they were underdone because any longer in the fryer and they too would have tasted of oily calamari. read more
