Tim or Penny usually do my gel x nails but yesterday Jenny did them and she did a fantastic job! I would have no problem going to Jenny again for my nails. She was meticulous and gentle. I didn't do anything fancy just French coffin style but she filed and painted them perfectly. Thank you Jenny! Plus Tiffany did my pedicure and she is awesome! Love coming here! The vibe is really peaceful, I can zone out to some music or watch Penny work (she's so detailed, it's satisfying to watch). I've always been offered something to drink. Both times, I got exactly the design I asked for. I love that dip nails are a little thicker because they last so long! I don't really use my nails as tools, but I'm also not particularly gentle with them either. They lasted me 4.5 weeks, and even then were still doing well, I just wanted something new! I wanted a natural ombré look and the representative Crystal completely delivered. She was friendly and sweet. She was very gentle, was really good at eyeing every detail, and confirmed with me after doing one nail if it was satisfactory before she did the rest. This was my first time going there, and this will now be my go-to spot for dip powder nails. I have come to Tim & Penny for about 3 years now. With them moving to this new location was even better - being about 5 mins from my house :) they both do great nails. They always make my nails feel so pretty whether it's just a plain dip color or choosing designs. And when they do powder dip, they don't double dip at all into the container. They pour a bit out of a separate cup and use that powder to do your nails. Tim & Penny would come up with some great designs & make them look perfect for any occasion. And they have over 200 colors to choose from. The place is super clean and very quiet. If you need quiet time from home, this is the place to go to. You can definitely relax while getting your nails done & a pedicure too! By the end of the service my nails are feeling super clean and super pretty! read more

It's a clean space and I know they take care of their tools etc. Making appointments is easy, they use a platform so you get confirmations etc. I've had to reschedule a few times and they were very understanding & made it easy. Tim & penny are both kind & don't judge when I totally mess up my nails :/ If you treat your hands reasonably, they will easily last 3-4 weeks- something I haven't experienced before. They can do fancy designs, but also do a great job with simple shaping etc. read more

Tim and Penny are amazing!! I've been coming here for about 6 months now and have had nothing but great experiences every time. When I first came to them I had acrylic on my nails and Tim took the time to soak/file them off as to not damage my own nails. Most places just rip them off - ouch. I never feel like they are rushing to get the job done and I love the quiet environment. They pride themselves on staying up to date on the latest trends and are worth every dollar! They do book up quickly so definitely plan ahead, but that just speaks to the quality of work and service that they provide. Of course they're going to be popular! I wish I could give more stars, I had the best experience with Penny today! My nails have been going through some turmoil (used terrible press ons for a wedding and they DESTROYED my nails). Penny cleaned me up and was so nice. I am usually nervous to get my nails done because I have had so many bad experiences in the past but I cannot recommend these two enough. This was probably the worst experience I've ever had and there has been no resolution. I've been blocked by the owners and have nothing left to do but write this yelp review in the hopes of saving one of their new eyebrow clients. I've been seeing this couple for over a year and was so excited when Penny started to offer brow services. I signed up the second she had availability. The first session was awesome. For being her 13th client, i thought Penny did a great job. Very cautious but overall great. She posted multiple photos of me on her Instagram which I loved. The final session I had requested my eyebrows to be thicker and darker which she was hesitant to do. But this was the second time I've had my brows done and knew that my body absorbs the ink very well. She finished the one eyebrow and went to the bathroom and I noticed that she outlined my eyebrow in dark harsh lines, a technique she didn't do the first time. I told her about it before she started on the second eyebrow and reassured me they would fade. They never did. I reached out to her on the two week follow up date. She told me to wait another two weeks. I did. They didn't fade. I reached out and she offered me a $100 refund or another session (I'm assuming I'd have to pay for that one too). I told her that I didn't trust the process with her for a third time since the second session was so much different then the first. She then became incredibly defensive and ultimately removed all my pictures from her Instagram. Long story short. Tim and Penny both blocked me from their Instagram. Penny told me that because I didn't appreciate the $100 refund (which is a lie) she wasn't refunding anything anymore. She became so hostile I eventually had to also block her. Below are pictures of my brows and pictures of our messages. I tried to do the right thing and go through them first but I'm at a loss and it's going to cost over $1000 to fix the harsh lines. This has been an exhausting experience and now I'm left with eyebrows that look absolutely terrible. Next eyebrow client beware. read more

When looking up places to get a fill for my acrylic nails this place popped up and had amazing reviews. T nails and brows doesn't do acrylic but I was really bummed... after speaking with I would assume was the owner they actually offer gel x which I've never heard of before. I looked into it and basically it's light drilling on your nail then a plastic clear nail that is already formed, arched and shaped perfectly. Then they add whatever color and design you'd like. I was very new to this service so I was asking lots of questions. "Is this going to be strong enough? Like acrylic?" I was very skeptical. However, Tu the lady doing my nails was very patient and very knowledgeable and didn't mind explaining or answering any questions. Tim, came over and was very nice talking to me and educating me on the gel x nails. Fast forward my nails are done and they are perfect! Perfect color, perfect shape, perfect arch, perfect length and they feel strong once they are on your nail! I received exceptional service at this salon from being greeted, to my nail tech, to the owner and everyone called me by my name and just made me feel as though I was a long time customer. Really enjoyed this atmosphere and the whole experience. I live in about an hour away and only visit for my boyfriend but I would definitely be returning for future services. read more
