Went here to get my phone screen replacement but after 20mins waiting, was informed that they don't have it - they ran out. I guess it is a popular store, especially in the heart of VNese community area. The store is small but clean & parking is abit funky, since the store is in front of the Main Street and you have to walk around it on either side for parking but both are small parking lot area with 5-8 spaces for 12 stores/restaurants/market/tea/shop. Staff are very nice and attentive. I only give 3 cause I have to go to other store to get my thing done but I would give 4. read more

We had an AMAZING associate named Hung who was so kind to us while we traded in our old iPhones for new ones. He was supposed to go home at 7 but stayed extra late just to help our mom whose phone was taking longer than usual. Beware...scammer alert! Today, I came to the store to pick up an item from T-Mobile Tuesday. The guy working in there was asking for my phone number and my ID (which is wierd because noons has asked me about before), but I still have to do it so I can get the item. After he got my ID, he takes the picture of my ID and scan the bar code in the back. I asked them why, and they told me that they just scan the ID, nothing happend. So I left the store, 5 minutes later I received a text message from Tmobile. It said " a Tmobile ID was created under my name. When trying to sell you on something they will tell you anything to get you on board including straight up lies. They promised to help cancel our Internet provider when we sign up to T-Mobile Internet but now say they don't offer that (they do and it is in their policy). We have ACP and was told to provide the info to a T-Mobile location only to have these guy lie that they don't accept ACP (T-Mobile's website states that they're part of the ACP program).When you need help regarding their service they keep deflecting the problem and saying it's someone's else's issue or they never heard it before. I gave them 2 stars because the girl named Châu there is sweet and helpful. But my encounter with the 2 guys there was beyond awful. My first encounter was with a guy named Quy. In the beginning, everything ran smoothly until I asked if there is a more cost saving plan. That's when he turned his attitude "it's the cheapest one" with a condescending tone. Ok pass on that one. Then, I asked him, as I have been told, this plan will have roaming & let me receive text message when I am overseas, am I correct? Then, he condescendingly replied me: "the way you talked made me not understand". He speaks English full of accent but treats Vietnamese who he thought has just come here with disrespect and acts as if he doesn't really know Vietnamese. And then my 2nd encounter with another guy. There are instances where the store may run out of a certain item and will give you stuffs on display. So I just politely asked him: "I am able to get new phone and not on-display phone right?" (Because I trade in my old phone, I need a new phone urgently or else I don't have any phone). I didn't mean to offend anyone by asking that. Then, he told me I will only get $400 back for my phone and then after T-Mobile has a look at my phone, they will rebate me the rest for the phone. I told him that was not what I have been told. Another sales associate at the store already looked at my phone and told me I would get $830 back, things should have been straightforward in the beginning. I asked him to confirm with me I will get $830 back (which he hesitated to reply), and took picture of my phone, print it out with both of our signatures to confirm the condition of my phone when I turned it in. He in fact got very angry "don't you understand? Have you just been to America from Vietnam?". Wow wow, I probably was in America before he even attended elementary school but he asked me in that condescending way. When I told him he was rude, he said he was pissed off because of my question regarding new or on-display phone, and asked me that I treated him that way because he's Vietnamese?? (Which is a silly thing to say because I am Vietnamese also). I know most likely the store will reply me with denials. I dare you to post UN-TRIMMED, UN-CUT, UN-EDITED, FULL LENGTH videos of both the encounters here so fellow yelpers can have a fair voice. By having that attitude of being very condescending to customers and acting like you are better than the Vietnamese who are fresh on boat, I will be very surprised if this business can stay long on the market. read more

Quan is a scammer!! He tricked my family and I into thinking that we were able to cancel the internet provider if we don't like it within 3 months but now, we have to wait for a "coupon"?? This doesn't make any sense. He also told us that we had to buy these apple chargers too because they were only ones compatible with our new iPhones, but we were still able to use our old chargers and it worked perfectly fine! We didn't need the new chargers whatsoever and lost $40 because of it. We were misinformed a lot of information and the workers here need to be trained better. read more

I had the worst experience in this store. I don't suggest anyone to stop here for service. If you can, seek help at your next location. I wasn't greeted. I came into the store to have my old phone swiped clean and to replace my screen protector. The associate stereotype me as someone to be fraudulent. He treated me aggressive. When asked for my ID to verify my account, he took extra measures that other T-Mobile employees have never done when verifying my account. The associate was rude about replacing my screen protector as it's a service that I pay for with my monthly bill. When I vocalize how rude he is about his service in helping me. He mentioned "I need to be grateful that he's replacing it." Despite that I pay for it. I asked to speak to a manager about his inappropriate behavior, although he spoke English; he began to speak in a different language in my face and started laughing. When the manager approached me he was already laughing and didn't try to diffuse the situation. The employees and manager was lying about their names when I asked. I was livid and requested for cooperate who I immediately spoke to over the phone inside the store. The Corporate headquarters did send my poor experience to a higher level in authority. I do believe my ethnicity played much factor, although I hate to consider the facts of me being an African American woman. Scammers. I hate Asian T-Mobile stores . They think it's because we are not knowledgable about their promotions and phone , they can scam us for our money. I don't know if theses worker get pay for commission, but they will try to use the word "free" to get customer to buy their devices or enter a new line . It's sad to see college students working here and doing dishonest work . Talk to T-Mobile representative and look at their website first before you set yourself up . I feel really bad for old Asian not knowing what they signing up for . My uncle came here a few days ago trying to get an iPhone 7. After long talk, he somehow managed to bring home both the iPhone and also a tablet . He came over to me and ask why his bill is extremely high . I read and talk to T-Mobile representatives and they said he sign up for 25$ a month for 24 months data for the tablet . If he sign up for that promotion then the tablet will basically be "free". They probably told him he can get the tablet for free without mentioning the 24 months data charged . They also made him trade in his wife old iPhone for the new iPhone 7 with paperless and auto payment sign up. Scammer. So he doesn't know his real bill. My uncle end up losing a lot of money and have to pay the tablet in full. Shame on you workers for trying to make money out of people . You can't keep customer if your work is dishonest . For references , my uncle is not stupid , its what the worker told him that he based it on. Don't trust the word "free". Read online , talk to T-Mobile representative first !! Don't listen to them. Bit of a late update, but my mom and I came into the store to see what was up with her contract paperwork. Hung Le, one of the store managers, ended up taking a whole hour to patiently and fully explain the contracts to my mom. Props to him, he was great, and never seemed flustered or frustrated. So what happened is a case of customer communication and explanation and the lack thereof. My mom came in, wanting to BUY a phone, but they automatically signed her up for the new T-Mobile JUMP! On Demand Lease program without explaining to her what the program actually entails. When Hung actually explained to us how the program works, then it all made sense why someone would want the leasing program over the traditional 2-year installment payment plan. Similarly, though more egregiously, they also failed to explain what they meant when they promised my mom the accessories were "free." So the accessories (the phone case and the screen protector) come out to about $3 a month according to the payment plan they have set up for it. What they failed to tell my mom the first time around is that they applied a discount code to deduct $2 from my mom's phone insurance each month (i.e. she would now only be paying $8 for $10 worth of insurance coverage). Therefore, the net difference would be $1, between the new $3/month charge and the -$2/month in savings (ummm still not "free," but okay). Here's the thing: my mom never signed up for or had a phone insurance plan at any time. There were no $2 savings to be had. So...the original associate who helped her was careless/didn't check and probably just assumed my mom had a phone insurance plan. That means that she would've paid full price $75 for them. Anyways, just in case the store owners/managers actually read Yelp reviews. EVEN if my mom had a phone insurance plan that a $2/month coupon was applied to in order to make the accessories essentially cost $1/month...I'm pretty sure you still can't represent that as "free." I feel like that is just opening yourself up to all sorts of legal liability, including claims of violation of federal and state UDAP laws, the corresponding agency regulations, and good old common law fraud and misrepresentation. I been to many T-Mobile stores. This one is the WORST one I have been to. One word: Scammers. I have Jump on Demand. They tried to charge me at least $80 worth of accessories if I wanted to upgrade, saying it was "mandatory." I called them out on their lies and they said I also had to pay a $12 per month Car Link device as well. I never had to pay these fake fees before and was told that it was their EXCLUSIVE store "policy." After seeing that I wasn't happy, they told me that they can waive those "mandatory" fees and just pay a $50 upgrade fee. I was fed up with them at this point and paid it anyways, but found out later by talking to a T-mobile representative that there was NO SUCH THING AS AN UPGRADE FEE. I returned to the store and asked what was up with that, and they told me that it was EXCLUSIVELY just their store that charged customers an illegal $50 fee. WHAT?! edit: turns out they charged me 2 sim cards that they never gave me. They gave those 2 sim cards to other customers. I talked to a different store manager who talked to this store about their scamming practices and I finally managed to get a refund. This store is pathetic... Don't go here. They exist to scam unknowledgable asian people. read more

These people operate like used car salesmen, very eager to get you to buy more things and yet give you all kinds of trouble when you want to return said things. They were trying really hard to not let me return a device by giving me some reason that otherwise a non-problem according the T-Mobile phone rep that I talked to after. I ended up not being able to return the item. They're either very incompetent or just really trying their best to not lose sale that they've already made. Scammers I was at work when my parents decided to buy a new phone. We usually go through Costco as I work there and know am friends with the guys. Had the similar problem as Monique where they told my parents they could have free accessories if they only paid the tax on them. My parents recall it very clearly they said "free" and they wouldn't be charged for any accessories. The paper work they used is very shady. I can see how they used it to confuse my parents and scam them into buying accessories. The first page they used doesn't show any balance and shows zeros for all the accessories. My parents said this was the page they used when they told them accessories would be FREE. The second page shows balances but when my mom asked the sales man said you don't have to pay that its free you only have to pay tax. My mom is not one to get easily tricked, she questions everything. They only way they got this to go through was by flat out lying about FREE accessories. We called them and argued and the sales man that helped denied saying anything of the sorts. They are now reported to the Bureau of Better Business and T-Mobile. Do not shop here. read more

I should have read other reviews stating they are scammers before stepping into this store. After spending about an hour picking out a plan, selecting phones and almost finalizing the two year contract, I asked about what if the signal and cellular service isn't good in my area with numerous hills and valleys. I can't even get broadcast radio or TV and have to rely on satellite and SiriusXM. I was told that there was NO WAY that I could test service and that there was no trial period before committing to a two year contract! Both the salesperson and the store manager repeated this. Then, unbelieveably, the manager asked me if I had friends who have t-mobile that I could borrow their phones from to test at my house! The manager then came up with the idea to sell me the cheapest smartphone they had at $150 (non-refundable) so I could test the service! There was no way I was doing that! They ended up convincing me to buy a burner sim-card and that if I could find an old cell phone that was compatible with the t-mobile network to do that. $26 for the card, activation, taxes. When I got home, I still couldn't fully believe what they told me in the store and Google searched that t-mobile does have "TEST DRIVE" which allows for a 30 day free trial period on their network. When I confronted the store employees about this the very next day, they claimed they are a "retail" store and not a "corporate" store, so they are not trained or obligated to tell customers about that program. When I asked for a refund because the only reason I bought the SIM card was because I trusted what they told me, the store manager promptly hung up on me. I came in to ask a quick question about adding a line to a current plan and waited 40 minutes to be told the account holder needed to be there before they can tell me anything about adding lines to the plan. The employee, Quan, also put another guest's name on the wait list before mine even thought I was there first. He was the one that "helped" me too. -_- But the other employees seemed to not notice that I had been waiting much longer than all other guests. The same employee (Quan) also turned away another guest that came in with what seemed like a quick question. How ridiculous is it that I couldn't get any information about adding lines to a plan and getting a cost estimate. Will not be coming back to this store. read more

This review's purpose is to give this store the justice they deserve! I'm a regular here and of course, good service brings the customers back. I'm very content with the services here because all of the staffs here are very nice and knowledgeable, especially Nick, he really knows what he's doing. One time I really needed to get a sim for a relative from Europe so they could be able to use the phone during their stay here but that day I got out of work late and didnt get to the store until 6:50pm and it was almost their closing time but they gladly helped me through with no complaints! (I know how it feels when you close at 7pm and customers come in near the closing time, hey we all have been there!). These guys make sure they do their job and actually went extra miles to help me setting up my phone as I recently purchased an iPhone 6 with a great promotion from them. Was very glad to be able to save some money on one of the newest phone right now! And oh, they did ask me if I wanted to purchase accessories but they never pushed. I recently moved and now live 45 min away from the store but don't mind driving here everytime I need anything related to phone services. I can't find a reason why I should switch. read more
