This is the worst cellular store I've ever been to. Their posted hours are incorrect as they consistently open late and close early.

Open 30 minutes late on Sunday 9/22/24, 2 employees rolled up together after numerous customers had left due to closure.

IN AND OUT (3.5 stars)…read more Whoa. When did U-Village have a glow up? A lot has changed since I went to college at UW and Apple was once an empty lot. Their Apple Store here is big and gorgeous but good luck finding parking in the area. Upon arrival, there was no greet even though I was ready to spend $700 on the Apple mini. I kind of had to stare an employee to lock eye contact to come over. There were a handful of employees but some were helping customers and some were just chatting around with each other. Finally when one did, our transaction was quick because I knew what I wanted. BUT this slipped my mind and I thought this was the mini with the A20 (but this is the mini with the A17 there were rumors the A20 would be out in Oct as there is no official announcement from Apple). While thinking this was the "newest" one, I made the purchase because the employee was saying it's the "newest one". After purchasing and leaving the store - it dawned on me it's the A17 from 2024 and anytime now (even without announcement yet) the A20 should be coming. With that said, I drove to the next closest apple and made the return. I appreciate the In and out service but the service was quick that the important details were missed. We didn't get a chance to take a look at what was given to as the product was pulled from the back, bagged, and off we go. Other Apple stores they give you the option to want to open the item to make sure color and etc is what was order correctly. Until the next review....

I could drone on about what they fixed, etc., but the fact is that in my nearly 25 years here, I seldom get this kind of service. Every person there is great-respectful, honest, and sometimes even funny. They actually communicate with you and tell you usually within a half hour how long something will take to fix. And here's a shocker for Seattle, they'll tell you if they've encountered another problem that may take longer/and or that it wouldn't be worth fixing. The bottom line is, if I could build a large company that fixes devices, I would start with Jet City as the model, and build every store exactly like it. A successful organizationIt starts with the people it hires. They have that locked in at Jet City. Erik Oh, and btw, they have a bulletin board where you can tack a sticky note about how your phone/device got broken. It's ok to fib about it. That makes it funnier.

GoEBITS came to the rescue after I accidentally damaged my MacBook Pro screen. Since I was out of…read morewarranty with Apple, I came to their University District store at referral from Apple service because the local Apple Store was all backed up. GoEBITS was able to see me that same day, conduct a quick diagnosis, and do the repair all in their own shop - no need to send out to an outside repair center. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very communicative. My repair was complete within the week - which was much appreciated since I depend so much on my Mac. While it wasn't cheap - it's something I anticipated since I unfortunately didn't have Apple Care (a learning by itself!). I highly recommend them!

Now the reason this review isn't 4 or 5 stars is because COMMUNICATION seems to be an issue aside from my device being there for over a month in waiting for a battery "that worked" & the internal connector or such to be fixed. The timing wasn't so much an issue as the lack of communication was. It's like I would like to at some point have an answer or my device back after a month. Because if you've got back ups or are absent minded, then they'll keep your stuff for a long time if you forget it's there. Otherwise, communication in actually calling & giving updates would be good instead of wondering if your device is just sitting there or is being used as a paper weight.....
