My experience with T Mobile makes be believe they are trying to get out of our original trade in agreement. I began using T Mobile 8 months ago, and was told that I would get a $300 credit for my Samsung phone exchange. I have been given the run around for months about this, and still HAVE NOT been given the credit, nor the credit for the monthly overcharges. My family and I have been loyal customers for some time now. Our first two experiences were incredibly positive and informative. Today, we had a rather polar opposite experience. We arrived 30 minutes prior to closing, fully aware that this process would probably take longer. We came in curious to know more information about upgrading & the employee working with us was little to no help. One sentence responses & little to no conversation. My family member was having difficulty accessing her t life account & the employee offered to help once, then proceeded to continue texting on her cellphone while my family member struggled with technical difficulties, I ended up intervening and supporting my family member instead. I was displeased with the service provided as I felt like we were pulling teeth in conversation and unwanted in that space. There were way too many roadblocks and lack of information provided to us, which influenced our decision to not move forward with any upgrade. If you want to sell us a phone, at least try. Selling a product isn't just about the transaction, it's about building a connection, ensuring your customers feel supported, heard, and are properly informed. Please do better! PART 1 - This specific store. Going inside a carrier store isn't ideal for me. I prefer ordering online because it saves me the $20 upgrade fee and I can avoid the endless upsells from the salesperson. I can also backup and restore my data without help. This T-Mobile store is clean and the wait wasn't too long. Keep in mind that this is really a Samsung and Apple store. If you're looking for anything else (like a Pixel phone) it's on a back nondescript wall. PART 2 - T-Mobile the cell phone carrier. It's a lot more affordable than Verizon and AT&T.. T-Mobile's cell service is impressive and it seems to get stronger every year. The internet speeds, not so much. It's good, but in high density areas the internet can go at a snail's pace. Overall I'm satisfied because the voice coverage and the unlimited data works for me. - This location has a ton of upsells. Even idle chit chat is an opportunity for them to upsell you. A good experience. Not a great experience, but good. 5th star is because a cell purchase contract finally became quicker than buying a new car. In and back out in 1 hour, 20 minutes. New car purchases are now running about 2.5 hours, even quicker if you do the deal on line or over the phone. Edgar was put up for the challenge and beat it; however, with the back ordering on phones because of the shipping on slow boats outta China, we must still program it ourselves once they do arrive. Never ever go to this store. The retail manager at this store is the rudest person I have ever met. The Retail Manager was so disrespectful to me and to the T-Mobile rep on the phone who was just trying to help me. This is the first time that I have encountered such a person. And he is a retailer? He actually slammed the phone on the table in front of me (it's a T-Mobile phone) when the rep was still speaking to him twice. I even put the phone on speaker, so he would continue to talk to the rep. He said he cannot do anything to help me with an air of superiority that as if he's not talking to a person. I Took my phone in to get my screen protecter replaced after going to the apple store to replace my "iPhones XS max" screen. I let t-mobile know the situation with the screen protecter. I let them know I didn't have it. They told me i could still change it understanding the situation. They had me wait 30-40 minutes so they could tell me they couldn't replace my screen protecter because I didn't have the original screen protecter. mixed messages. Initially I wanted a Samsung Tab A but Antonio let me know about a good deal on the iPad 7, couldn't refuse that. The set up was educational when Rene and Joel came and told us about the eSim. While we were in front of his terminal he checked my "Plan" to see if he could save me a few bucks a month and decided that I was in the best fitting plan for my usage and needs. After almost 20 years with AT&T, I decided to try T-mobile. My needs changed as all the companies decided we need data plans and smart phones, so I went with the one that had the best prices. I walked into this store and talked with Cynthia R who was very nice. She answered all of my questions, and when I needed to come back later, she saved my information and told me to come back when I'm ready. What? No pressure. Okay I was intrigued. After checking in with another company that was less than friendly, I came back. She was able to get the phones setup and ready in about an hour (not bad for 3 phones). Also let me know about financing the phones (20 months, no interest) which was cool too (apparently T-Mobile is moving away from subsidies). She also filled out the rebates for all three phones which saved me a ton of time. Overall, I've had a great experience with T-Mobile so far and I would recommend it.
