I had a very disappointing experience at this T-Mobile location. I purchased an Apple case from here, and it turned out to be defective. When I came back to get it replaced, both managers I dealt with were extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of helping resolve the issue, they had an attitude and made the process frustrating for no reason. What made it even worse was that when I expressed my frustration, they told me it was "okay to leave a bad Yelp review," which just shows how little they care about their customers. As a customer, I expected basic respect and proper service--especially when dealing with a defective product--but that was not the case here. I don't have too much to say besides the fact that this store is probably the one of the worst T-Mobile stores that exist. Quite frankly, the staff is unprofessional, lazy, and not attentive. They could two s**** about anything you say and really don't care if they solve your problem or not. that's not even the worst of it the worst of it. I was able to find a solution and suggest a few options on an issue I was having before two of the employees were even being able to figure it out. Once they heard some type of obstacle that they were going to send me off my. After about 1 minutes I was able to provide OPTIONS, like a normal retail store would do, and I figured it out. How was it possible that someone who's never worked at T-Mobile (Me) find and provide options and avenues to overcome a problem offer and suggestions like you're supposed to do in retail? These employees, see one problem and then default to tell you to leave. I have gone here twice and every time I've had a horrible horrible experience. I have even decided to drive all the way to Sports Arena from La Jolla because of it. I don't want to call out a specific employee, so I will say this "I suggest management look at a your employees, and really discuss with them, that customer service is NOT for them, and make some changes" Pretty embarrassing as T-Mobile has been with me for a very long time. And my family and the service the phone provides is too good to leave. But this store, oh, I'm never coming back. I'll spend the gas money to go elsewhere where maybe I can get a " Hello, how can I help you" instead of an Old man grumbling under his breath telling you to leave because he can't sign in on a laptop. Walked in to change my screen protector which was under warranty and have had replace multiple times. This dude behind the counter said that I didn't have protection for my phone and never want to solve the issue, my screen protector is broke and cutting my finger every time I open my phone this is ridiculous service. I am very disappointed in this tmobile. I have gone in twice now to troubleshoot and they assure me all my device are setup for insurance and now that im trying to file a claim its stating that my device isnt covered. When we first came in earlier this year the people selling us the plan put all the first responder and military discounts onto the plan to make it look like it was going to be cheaper. Now for two phones im paying over $350. Really bummed. read more

I've had the chance to use T-Mobile PB's services more than three times, and unfortunately, I've been disappointed by their customer service and professionalism at least twice. To their credit, they did eventually resolve all the issues, but the overall experience was somewhat exhausting. Some of their representatives are highly professional, while others are less so. Next time you visit the store, I recommend clearly explaining your issue to ensure a quicker and smoother resolution. read more

Never had the best customer service here. I went to get my screen protector replaced under warranty and they didn't allow it. They tried to say I need to get a privacy screen protector, since that's what I originally purchased for the phone. And then I purchased a clear screen protector afterward because I don't like the privacy screen. But they won't allow me to replace my regular screen protector under warranty. I am an existing t-mobile customer. The previous store I went to (which was great) closed, so I tried this one based on proximity. Came here to upgrade my phone, and wanted to look at different models. Called in advance to ask if they had the phones present that I was interested in, and was told that I had to come in person for that. That already wasn't great, but okay, I went in my lunch break and was 'greeted' by a worker who ignored what I asked her but demanded phone number and ID first. I gave that, and then asked if I could see and hold the models they had. They said I could look but not touch or hold demos. Followed by the question why I came to the store - to physically hold models - implying that I wanted to rob them??? After entering my info, they should have seen I am a paying customer for 18 years and cut me some slack? read more

DON'T GO IN THIS STORE! Please, for your sake, go to a different T-Mobile location. We tried switching from Verizon to T-Mobile, and if I hadn't already asked all my questions at a different location, I'd still be a Verizon customer. They knew NOTHING whatsoever about the plans that they had to offer. I had a question about the differences between the military Magenta and the upgraded Magenta plan, and he couldn't tell me anything other than that one cost more, so there's no reason to use it. I had concerns about international travel, and he was confident that the Magenta Max plan didn't offer any added travel benefits - which was wrong. I pulled up the T-Mobile website, he just looked at me with no response. I grabbed my paperwork and phone and left as fast as I could. I went to another T-Mobile location down in Point Loma, and they were SO much better. They said that I was the third person in the last 24 hours to have tried going to this location only to be met with a similarly bad experience. They are legitimately pushing people AWAY from T-Mobile instead of bringing in customers. So glad that I knew enough to walk away from there, because had I given them my personal information, I have no faith that they'd have done anything responsible with it whatsoever. Run away from the store as fast as you can, never enter the door. It is a trap, they will never answer your call after your business. If there is negative 10 star, they will earn it. I was cheated into a line, a phone, and a watch. 1. I was told it costs $20/month to add a line to an existing plan. the actual is $40 2. I was told the phone is under promotion and costs $99. If I canceled the line, I will only need to pay the full amount of $99. However, I am not just been told that I need to pay the full $800 if I need to cancel the line 3. I was told the watch is free if I add a standalone plan for the watch together with a new line. Yet, my monthly bill show $14 for watch device. You know what is the worse, the store never picked up their phone. read more

Tmobile is good. I'm pleased with the service and the customer service. I had Verizon as my 1st and only carrier since 2000 and every time I priced compared to a comparable carrier (that had retail presence) the small savings was never worth switching from Verizon until last year 2022 with their 55+ pricing which is crazy good. THE CATCH is thst you need to have at least 2 people to take advantage of their senior rates which is VERY UNFAIR to single seniors (that's me). I had to team up with friends and that is a little risky and requires trust of your friends. A+Don't join Tmobile for Tmobile Tuesdays as for the most part Tmobile TUESDAYS SUCK. It's mostly lame savings on fast food places not near me and not with the effort to save a few bucks to do the online downloading of apps and signing up for an under 5$ discount. Maaaaybe 3 times in the past 15 months I've been a member have they given away good stuff. The problem is they run out of the good stuff FAST so you have to get to a store early. As for the coverage I have been very pleased. I mostly stay in SD, OC and I drive up to Temecula and Wildomar and have not had any coverage issues. I had issues with my phone in the beginning (never again buying a Google pixel, this was my 2nd and they suck) and their customer service was responsive. Verizon was easier to deal with in respect to getting a replacment phone but not worth staying at Verizon for the incredible 55+ savings I'm getting at Tmobile. All in all, I'm happy and unless Verizon can compare with Tmoble rates in the future, offering SINGLE SENIORS a comparable rate, I'll be happily staying with Tmobile. read more

Had a dead cell phone issue on my visit to beautiful Mission Beach. Was able to book a timely appointment at this T-Mobile location. After a short wait, Eric did what he could to rectify my issue, but this location does not have folks who can fix a phone problem. I greatly appreciated his efforts and what he and his co-worker Matthew did to assist me in getting resources for me to get my cell phone issue resolved. Because my cell phone was dead, their assistance was crucial in getting my issue resolved. While I waited in the office, I was able to witness their interactions with customers and I was thoroughly impressed. T-Mobile should feel very fortunate to have such stellar gentlemen as Eric and Matthew as employees. They are a major credit to the company. Accidentally left my phone in the car where the sun could and did cause a bad over-temp. Phone was totally dead and wouldn't power-up. Went to our local T-Mobile/Sprint store on Garnet Ave to have the phone reset - told the fellow what happened. He looked at the phone briefly and told me he couldn't help me - that I should take it to the the Apple Store (at the mall :-( After a one hour wait the Apple escort brought me in where a tech helped me about fifteen minutes later. I described what had happened... he examined the phone and had it powered-up within 30 seconds. After a couple of minutes waiting to see if the phone would power itself down, he ran some short diagnostics - everything was ok, phone restored. He showed me how to do the power reset, a very simple fix, and I thanked him and left. I'm thinking "that was easy" so I went back to the local store to tell the guys how the Apple tech powered it up. I walked in told the guy how to do the power reset. His response: "yeah, we know how to do that". So, thanks for nothing gents...! That was almost three hours of an afternoon wasted because you weren't feeling that attitude of customer service we customers have a right to expect. The best part: my wife and I purchased our two phones there several months ago. To the owner: have detected an "attitude" in your store. When I stopped by today to get names the guy made some statement about needing training. Starting with customer service training maybe? Here's the Apple power reset trick used on my SE: press the up volume, then down volume buttons, then press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds. Phone should power up.
