I needed my shattered iPhone 11 screen repaired. I took it to their booth at the Spring Valley Swap meet and it was repaired quickly. They don't use genuine Apple parts so my face ID might not work, but it's better than having a shattered screen and waiting weeks without a phone. read more

Took an iPhone X in for a cracked screen. No appointment can be made; rather, you just go during business hours when the tech is in. Although the repair takes about a half hour, expect to have to leave the phone there and come back at the end of the day to pick it up because the tech is invariably busy and backed up. Within several days of picking up the repaired phone, many features stopped working. Could no longer dim the screen, sometimes the phone wouldn't turn on, and various buttons on the screen stopped working. Called for assistance and they said we could bring the phone back in, but again, who has the time to make two more trips? The kicker was that the phone was dropped yesterday and the new screen cracked completely. Off to buy a new phone. Two stars because Victor, the front desk guy, is pleasant. read more

They probably used the cheapest replacement screen possible at this place. I came in and got my phone screen fixed, got a glass screen protector put on, and bought a nice speck phone case to ensure my phone would stay nice. About a month later my whole entire screen started popping out, and I hadn't even dropped it once so it probably wasn't put on correctly. After my whole entire screen popped out, my home button decided to break. Probably because the wiring is all messed up. So frustrating, 100% do not recommend this place! It's also not very cheap, I think I paid about $60 to get my screen replaced. read more

I highly recommend this service. My laptop suddenly gave me a huge warning that it had a trojan and it locked up on me. I took it in and the tech took a half second to get the computer working and gave it back to me with no charge. Within a couple days it had the exact same issue. When I took it in again they kept it overnight and wiped the computer and reloaded it with my programs. I paid their usual charge of $80 (what I've seen as a going rate here in the Silverdale area). After a few days I began getting pop-up notices that my computer had viruses, then after about a week it locked up again. Chris could not have been more accommodating. He told me he was busy and that he would probably have to keep the laptop overnight, but called me later that same day to say it was ready for pickup. When I arrived he explained what had gone wrong and showed me what he had done. He downloaded a cleaner program and showed me how it operates. To my surprise and delight, I was charged nothing! (Chris explained that my laptop was under their service warranty.) read more

I had the unfortunate experience today of having my cell phone drop today and when it dropped...it picked up some spiderwebs on the screen (aka it cracked!) I did a quick search and asked a bunch of places for quotes on getting my iPhone 6 front screen fixed. I called all around and John at SD Fix It was the one who quoted me at a reasonable price in the same range as all the other people I spoke to. I came in and got it fixed, and seriously within 20 minutes, the screen was replaced and I basically had a brand new phone! The guys here are young, but they know what they are doing and my phone is happy again, which makes me happy. Have had many repairs done by the guys over at SD FIX IT and I must say every time there is an issue between the actual repair and the customer service. Wanted to give them a chance as a business. This last time I was trying to get the glass from the camera lens "glued" back on because it has fallen off (not enough adhesive applied by them) and the receptionist goes on to tell me this is a 55$ service and I would need to pay that again for labor and there faulty repair. Being a business owner customer service should be one of your first priorities and knowingly that a yelp hurts. But hopefully this makes you guys want to do better. Victor was amazingly kind, helpful and patient in fixing my work from home set up. I had a new monitor and spent over an hour on the phone with my company's techinical support trying to get my Mac to split screen on my remote Citrix login. I was about to return my beautiful monitor but called SD fix it and Victor was amazingly knowledgeable. I had an absolutely horrible experience with SD Fix It. I brought them a very beautiful and expensive specialty item, a custom Architects tape measure/level in a small leather, steel and glass case. The metal angle at the end of the tape had broken off therefore sending the tape back into its case. He said it was reparable. I called back 2 weeks later to check the progress. He told me he needed more time, that it was complicated. I repeated that action again and was told the same again. I asked to be notified when ready. Months go by, so I called today to pick it up, ready or not, as it has both sentimental and material value [a gift to me and worth $150.]. He told me he could not fix it so he threw it away. My Google pixel XL phone had a cracked lens! Don't ask me how it got cracked but I noticed that my pictures I was taking were blurry and all of a sudden I looked and it had a crack in it. So I met this gentleman at the Oceanside street fair and ask him if he can repair it and he said absolutely. He ordered the lens called and called me it was in. I went back to the Oceanside Street Fair he put the lens in and then I said it's blurry, it's blurry, he looked at it and said well maybe it's your camera, and I said noooooo not my camera. I just bought it in February! Then he said let me look at it again and he figured out what was wrong and he fixed it and my camera is back working my video is back working and I am a happy camper. I took my iPhone 6S to the Kobey's swap meet-SD Fix It-to replace a gently cracked screen. They replaced it for $99 and it looked great at the time. I've had multiple issues followed by the screen replacement repair, which have ultimately affected the functionality of my phone. Little did I know, the screen replacement was an after-market one. This business should disclose this information. The screen should have been flush to the phone, which clearly wasn't. Now I have a screen that is slowly lifting and I'd rather purchase a refurbished phone than take my business to this repair service again. This was the gamble I took but I don't recommend anyone else to. I regret not purchasing AppleCare for the whopping price of $129. read more

They were recommended to me through a friend since they had the best price. At first I was skeptical because of their 1 stars, but since I've worked in retail for so many years, I can tell those ignorant customers not taking accountability on their end. Plus, my friend reassured me that the manager told him it's typically people who blame their product even though the customer damaged their own phone by sitting on it, dropping it or whatever after a few days after it's fixed. So it's like an analogy like your car getting in a crash. They sold you a working car, but you crashed it after driving off. So it's not their fault you crashed it. Anyway, I took a chance and decided to go ahead and get my Iphone 8 fixed. I talked to the manager about their warranty before they fixed my phone. He echoed the same thing my friend said. If it starts malfunction itself, then it's covered. Physical damage is not. I can confirm that I was told this verbally and is written on the receipt. So far I'm satisfied. Mine is a special case since it had water damage. He said it may have been fixed now, but it will go bad. I'm stubborn though, I decided to get it fixed anyway knowing that. So if it does break down, I'll have that "told you so "moment. Ultimately, I think it's all about accountability and not doing anything stupid with your phone. This place is by far the worst experience I have ever had. I had my iPhone 6s Plus screen replaced by them and the repair man lied and told me on 4 different occasions that their iPhone glass was a genuine apple screen. Fast forward 10 min after I left the screen on the left hand side had 3 faint lines on the side and I could not touch anything on the left or open any apps or even text. Weird. 30 min later I had the phone in my pocket and I felt a warm feeling. I pulled out the phone to realize that it was super hot and the screen was no longer working (completely black) I went back to the booth and they were gone, I called and they were closed on Sunday's. So I decided to take the device to apple and get it repaired. To my surprise it was not a genuine screen I was sold and the screen was not placed in correctly or defective causing it to over heat and cracking the inside hardware inside the phone. Since the phone was only a few months old they were able to replace the devise but I had to pay for another screen because it no longer had a genuine screen on it. So $120 for repair (non genuine screen) and $150 for genuine screen at Apple = $270 down the drain basically. They gave me a print out where they stated the screen was the cause. I called Monday morning to speak with manager and he was so arrogant and rude. He told me that I should have brought in a "fried" iPhone and they would have given me a new screen and that would have fixed the problem. But since I didn't have the screen there is no warranty. I couldn't get the screen back from apple as per their policies. So he said there was nothing he could do. I think they are liars and greedy people. Go to apple and get the glass changed out there. It will be a hassle. The 3rd party screen makes the warranty cancel out. It would be nice to get a refund for something that they sold me that caused a bigger issue but the manager refuses to do so. Guess I will NEVER do business with them as I was a 1st time customer and I think you should stay far away from this place. They should make it right. read more

I found this place on Groupon for my husband and he told me they did great work. I came in today to get a new battery for my iPhone and so did my husband, they fixed both phones within 15 minutes. My husband got a battery from them a few months ago, but his phone wasn't holding a charge. They guarantee their work, so they replaced his battery for free today. Both phones fixed for $35; you can't beat a good deal and good service!!!! ***UPDATE*** The battery dies within a month or so; got it replaced with another one and it died too. ‍ two batteries within a few month. I should have just gone to Apple to begin with because they offered to just replace my phone on the spot. Found out their cases and charges are not authentic either. Ugh. read more

I returned to pick up my phone, when paying for the screen repair I was told that they replaced the battery for an additional $25 and if I didn't want to pay they can remove the battery and replace with the original. I was in a hurry so I paid. The lady said if anything happens they have a 30 day warranty and to bring the phone in for repairs at no cost. The next day a purple cloud was growing on my screen so I returned the phone and got a new screen. Later that day a small crack formed starting in the center of the screen. This was not something I did or I would not have downloaded Yelp just to inform you of their policy and ethics. Would give them a -5 star if I could. But where should I start! Brought my iPad mini2 to get the glass screen and lcd fixed. I came to this little shop because it was literally right down the street from my work so it was super convenient for me. I met one of the workers there (older Asian man) he went on and on telling me how they have been here for years fixing phones, computers, and cameras. Not gonna lie very nice man. Kept saying that they never have people come back with issues and made me trust him so I left my iPad mini 2 with him and we paid the amount they asked for. I left it one day and he told me it would be ready the next day. I was very surprised on how fast it would be done and also very happy. Came the next day to pick it up we turned it on and it looked good he made me sign the receipt that he released it to me and I headed home. I didn't use the iPad the whole rest of the day because I was busy that day. It wasn't until later that night I grabbed the old from my truck and noticed a faint line going across the center of the screen and the colors above the line were darker and the colors under the line were much brighter. I took it back the next day since they told me there was a 30 day warranty. I dropped it off and the worker told me to pick it up on Tuesday. I waited and picked it up on Wednesday and here's where everything kept going down hill. He handed me the iPad and I was wondering why they reset it to factory settings and they told me that sometimes that happens when you replace the screen. So I was like whatever I didn't have anything on it any way and I can just log into my iCloud. So I headed home and when I got home I attempted to log into my iCloud but it kept saying can't connect to apple services. So maybe the cellular data was off I went to the setting and I couldn't find where to turn it back on then that's when I started realizing that this iPad I was holding wasn't even my iPad it was much older and it didn't even have the SIM card slot on the side it just happened to be the same size and color so I went back and told them that they had given me the wrong iPad and they felt bad and a little embarrassed. They went to the back and continued looking for it. Which is another complaint of mine. This place is super unorganized and they don't know where anything is. But anyways they found my iPad and it was taken apart with no lcd and they told me they were still waiting for the part to come in. Then I asked them so why did you guys call me and tell me that my iPad was ready for pick up. So I left and the next couple days they called me saying my iPad was ready to pick up. I drove there after work and again they tried giving me that other iPad again and I didn't even grab it I told him to go back and look for MY iPad which is in a black and dark blue case. They found it I tested it and I was like ok cool it work. I took it home and it was all good. Then what do you know. A couple days later the screen started acting up and it was getting worse and worse there's black lines all over the screen and it looks like the pictures are getting burned into the screen so your seeing double of everything. I'm sorry but I will never take anything to these guys ever again and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. So if your planning on stopping by to this place DONT! Don't waste your time or money.
