I went into upgrade my phone. Horrible customer service at this La Frontera T-Mobile store. I've been a T-MOBILE customer for 10+ years. I was the only customer in the store with lots of sales people. They basically told me no and go away? I left this store and went to the other T-Mobile store in Round Rock (off 620). I was in and out in 30 minutes with exactly what I needed. The customer service experience was amazing at the other store! I am glad I switched stores instead of carriers. read more

I've been a Tmobile customer for over 15 years and been in a lot of their stores. Most Tmobile managers and employees are exceptional and take care of longterm, valued customers.... this isn't on of them. I went in because my S9+ quit charging. Easy fix and under the warranty program I pay monthly for. Employee looks it over real good and determines its malfunctioning, sets up warranty phone. 2 days later my phone arrives at the store, just in time for me to catch my flight and I'll need that phone for my job. I take a half day of valuable time off from my work to go up there, so I can have time to transfer all my data, etc. I get there and "manager" looks over my phone and says it damaged. It's not under warranty... now I'm angry. I leave after choice words and go get a magnifying glass and my dslr camera to take high res photos of the alleged damaged port. Not one touch of damage! After consulting with customer service they tell me to go to another store. I do and 3 employees look it over. No damage. I show them my evidence and they approve my warranty immediately. This store manager didn't want to chance a failed warranty exchange because he is lazy and incompetent. Definitely not the characteristics of a leader. Time to call corporate. Came in and quickly was questioned, as to what is stopping me getting an iPhone. Seriously, if this was a sales tactic - it poor - in addition... a small pep talk + "is that your car" - is poor execution as well. Albeit, I can overlook the judging or borderline rudeness. When I asked about any new phones; which transpired quickly a "oh yea, we got the new LG". I inquired about the color options and what is new... right away, the person "Daniel" said he will go ask... This shows me doesn't know much, and, even then - that I can overlook. However, when you walk off and totally forget about me... that is poor customer service. I had to re-approach about the color options, and at the end of my "not long lasted" visited. I just said ok thank you, and took my business elsewhere. Overall, very rude and judgmental welcoming. Daniel the rep, forgot about me and didn't even seem interested after I gave him the vibe, I was not in for only an iPhone. Skip this store, I ended up getting my new phone at another T mobile, with more of a proper VIP treatment. read more

Have been a long time Tmobile customer and have had ALL good experiences with this particular store which is close to my home. On occasion, there has been a small wait, but staff is knowledgeable and had no problems with a phone return. Easy to find, they answer the phone right away and can look up your account without hassle. They also helped me to use some features on my new phone, felt they went above and beyond in customer service. read more

I would not recommend this store. But if you go definitely stay away from Angel G. This guy is not honest and if he is he does not know anything about tmobile. Everything he said seemed suspicious, didnt have any device we wanted. But the two biggest thing was. 1)The trade in amount. The trade in amount seemed really low for a Galaxy S6 edge and HTC 10. Angel said he personally doesnt make the amount but the computer does. 2) hes not very informative. Does not know much..it seemes. We didnt believe him so we went to the tmobile on 1110 IH 35 N. (512)716-0962 And talked to Aaron(cool guy, talk to him) without mentioning about Angel and what he offered us. 1)there was $100 difference for the Galaxy S6 Edge, I dont want to mention the HTC. **if the computer makes the price why where they majorly different. I think the worst. He was trying to pocket the money. Either way second store is better. 2) if we would of stayed with Angel we would of got ripped off and walked away with just the phone. Aaron hooked us up. We just paid the taxes on the phones (we got 2 galaxy s7 edge) and since we got the phones we got 2 free tablets, and finianced the 2phone cases, 2car chargers, 2wireless chargers, 2screen protectors and a UEBOOM speaker. Well, JORDAN did it again!!!! All I needed was a charger because I left mine at work and was in and out in a few minutes. We talked about upgrading my phone but I am one cheap man, LOL. I eventually will and JORDAN has earned my business!!!! Been with T-Mobile for 11 years and as I have stated in the past, JORDAN has the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, I have ever gotten at a T-Mobile Retail Store. It does not surprise me that this store only has 2 1/2 stars out of five stars. Shadan is useless in my opinion because he lied to me ( I guess just to make a sale). He told me that I would be covered if I purchased the insurance. The T Mobile store did not have phone covers for the particular phone that I purchased; they were out of them, which is odd to be a phone store. It is like a chicken restaurant running out of chicken. Once your drop the device and it gains physical damage, then you are basically out or stuck with paying a deductible, in which, in my case the dents on my phone are micro. I have learned to NEVER buy a phone without a cover, never WALK out of the store without having put a cover on the device. He, Shadan, also lied and told me that my pics would be on my phone; that I would just need to wait a day. When I bought a T Mobile phone last October, my pics were on my phone within minutes. This goes to show you that not every rep knows what the heck they are talking about. So I wasted more time and gas to drive back to have my pics installed and properly, thanks to Rami. He was/is a much better rep. I would ask for his services again anytime. Shadan is out of the question. read more

This review is for T-Mobile as a company and not towards any specific store. My phone drops calls pretty much every time I'm on the phone with someone, no matter where I am. The coverage is non-existent. When I visit my boyfriend in the Copperas Cove / Killeen area my phone usually doesn't work. I don't receive text messages and the internet only works if I'm connected to wifi. This is why my boyfriend calls them "T-Maybe"!! I'm switching to Verizon. If you are thinking of signing up with T-Mobile. DON'T!! The service is worthless. read more

I just switched over from a 12 year relationship withTMobile. I was asked to go into the store to get my phone # transferred. When I went y'day the agent albeit pleasant didnt do a thorough job. He "FORGOT' to mention that I need a new SIM card. No Biggies, I went to the store again to get the SIM card and find out that I need to get my iphone 5 unlocked from ATT. The new guy who helped me was not pleasant and was very condescending. He didnt tell me it was FTC regulations that prevent T Mobile from unlocking the phone, Instead , tells me - we wont do t for you and ATT should but wont do it because you are no longer a customer. I tried to convince him to help me, but his attitude was just rude and not helpful at all. He refused to even look up the computer to see who tried to help me yday and said there was nothing he can do about it. Mind you - all this before I even got transferred and activated as a T Mobile customer. I got home and figured it out myself - and called ATT - which even after I told them I was switching to T Mobile- helped me figure out how to unlock my phone. I needed a new phone fast. Francisco was the best sales person! (and I don't say that very often) He was very nice, patient, didn't rush me and did everything he could to make my experience a smooth one. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and the place wasn't blaring loud music as most other phone stores do. I am very happy I chose T mobile and hope they continue great customer service. I used to love TMobile, But unfortunately they became so unprofessional or at least this employee. I never had problems at this location until I met SABRINA. I always happened to have her as an assistant. She was rude & disrespectful. She was very unfriendly and unhelpful. She wasn't very knowledgeable with products or questions I seemed to have. I will NEVER use T-NOWHERE again. My phone went blank 19 days ago & I finally got my replacement phone this morning. This afternoon I will be going straight back to AT&T. I wish I would of got the sales idiot's name that tried to explain why I still had not received my replacement phone 2 weeks after I was told I would receive replacement with in 5 days. He was a joke. I'm sorry but 19 days is way too long to expect anyone to wait for a replacement. Other than the poor customer service at the location. I have also experienced poor connection to no connection, "NO SERVICE" in areas that I always had service in with AT&T. Do not fall for their sales pitch that they can save you money. It's simply not saving me a penny if I'm not getting the equal service other providers have. read more

the seller did not provide me with the information that I could have my phone repaired, only replacement of the whole phone with insurance. Their insurance only means refund and exchange of the entire device. So if I get a micro damage on my screen, I would have to live with it or replace the whole phone(I assume that the replacement won't be new). the only information I received when buying the phone was that what my phone number was for the purchasing phone. Also, that the camera is better on the phone than other. That was the service for buying a $588 phone. So, if you are a new customer to T-Mobile, I don't recommend you this store. They take little importance on underlining the insurance policy of what it covers and what it doesn't cover. If they don't think that is important, what else would they think important of? I guess the manager should be more responsible for this case. read more

On more than one occasion we were told something, then had to dispute the actual outcome a week later. Customer service sucks, employees know nothing, and will tell you whatever you want to hear even if it's wrong. Because of this store, we just made the switch to Verizon. And we asked about branching off the third line on our account to be it's own bill, they said it would be fine, and even that was a lie. Will no longer do business with tmobile and will be filing a complaint with the BBB. read more

The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the first two people who helped me, were amazing. Answered all of my questions about my new phone and case and even up sold me on a new headset to drive hands-free. However three days later the headset stopped working. I followed all of the troubleshooting advice, and nothing worked! I came back into the same store and the nice gentleman was there, he remembered me, and went ahead and exchange the headset so that I could use it right away. Since it's the law that I have to drive hands-free it was a very huge weight off of my shoulders being able to walk out with a headset that works. Plus I spent $150 for the headset in an addition to my $600 phone and my hundred-dollar case. I'm very disappointed in my service today for the second time the headset broke, no unusual wear-and-tear I've had other headsets that lasted me for years but this was a new model I thought I would try. I walked into the store and instantly the clerk started telling me how I was using it wrong it's in hibernation, it's not charged, I flat out told him what happened last time and that I wanted to exchange it and go with the older headset of which I would be able to get to for the same price. The clerk walks around back to talk to his manager about what they could do, and came around to say there was nothing he could do. I spent 100 and $69 on a headset and there was nothing they could do now that it will not work at all! The lesser headset that I want to replace it with is the one I've had for years it cost $69 and they refused to let me exchange it. Now I have to call some random number they refused to give me and deal with somebody shipping me a new one. Needless to say I would not recommend this store clearly customers mean nothing to them just the hundreds and thousands of dollars we spend with them each year. I will be finding a new provider very quickly! If anybody from T-Mobile reads this and wants to contact me go ahead I'd like to discuss what happened and why I'm so disappointed. read more

I came into T-Mobile today to get a HotSpot for Internet in the house , I talked with the guy for a while and made sure that this would be efficient to stream Netflix on my tv at home , well he said it would be . so I went ahead and got the hot spot . I got it home and it's garbage (don't get one ) well j being it back and they want to charge me a 25.00 dollar restocking fee . On a product I was told would work but did not at all . The guy was nice but this is not right ! I will never step foot in this location again . You get lied to and then you above tk pay for it SMH read more

Sylvia served us to change the plan to a cheaper one. When it was changed the current credit was lost even though we told her $50 was loaded on yesterday. She said she couldn't change it and we needed to call the call centre. When the call centre asked to speak to Sylvia she initially said "we have a separate call centre for branches". Eventually reluctantly, Sylvia spoke to them saying she couldn't make the change in store. After a few back and forwards between my wife, Sylvia and the call centre, Sylvia was trying to get less and less involved. When eventually mid conversation she said she was dealing with another customer and served them (these people were already being served by someone else). The call centre manager and my wife finally got it sorted - can't fault the call centre, but Sylvia was very unhelpful as soon as she had made the initial mistake - trying to pass it off to the call centre and removing all responsibility. read more

Service? No ability to even activate phone no one knows what they are doing. Staff and managers are not knowledgeable. I suspect that they knowingly sold me a defective phones because of the problems they had activating it and how they forgot to place the receipt in the bag. They appearantly will only take back defect of products within two weeks even though they do have a return policy posted, oh yea and make sure you have a receipt. They claim to have no records of activations. HMMM T-Mobile was my perferred choice 10 years ago but they have no customer service in their physical locations any more, and good luck with their out sourced Customer no Care as well. If you do business with them use a Credit Card and if you have a problem with their service or products at the very least your Credit Card Company will get it resolved. They won't listen to you. It was the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. Under no circumstances pay cash or debit card for anything here. read more
