Holiday hours posted on the store window
Kendra F.

The holiday hours are posted as opening at 10 AM not just on the store window, but also the website. Well, they didn't open until 11 AM today, which is the normal opening time on a Sunday outside of the holidays. We didn't wait long at all, arriving around 10:55. It wasn't an inconvenience to us but it very well could be to someone else. Anyway, the visit wasn't brief but it wasn't complex. My boyfriend needed an upgrade on his phone and he got it. I checked for an upgrade and while I'm eligible, my XR is still running strong. I ended up just buying JBL Noise Canceling Bluetooth headphones. The employees are attentive and ready to help. When we got there it was just one person ahead of us in line, but there were three reps available. I expect weekends to be busy here and it is. If you can't find parking on the street your best bet is to try the parking garage by Trader Joe's. Edit: 1/3/23 From 3 to 4 stars. As I stated above, the employees are attentive and helpful. I called a few days after my initial visit to check if Apple Watches were in stock before making my way over. After getting some information on the Apple Watch Series 7 and 8, I was told if I had wrapping paper they'd even wrap it for me. That meant a lot to me being this was shortly before Christmas. Thanks again!

My husband and I headed to T-Mobile at Temescal Plaza to pay our cell phone bill. Alas, we could not find a single parking space in the lot, so we left and came to this T-Mobile. We lucked out and found street parking on Lakeshore Avenue near the business, as in two doors away. The visit was brief. There was hardly anybody in the store; thus, I received service immediately. The male employee was very helpful and friendly. He accepted my payment and handed me a printed paper receipt. I was in and out of there in about five minutes. Sure I like the quick friendly service, but the drawback is street parking can be problematic. I might return, then I might not, to take care my monthly obligation.

As soon as I landed in San Francisco on my last visit to the Bay Area, my Google Nexus 5 broke. I immediately purchased a Google Pixel to replace it, but unfortunately, that also meant I had to get a new SIM card since the Nexus 5 uses a micro-SIM and the Pixel uses a nano-SIM. The Project Fi nano-SIM that came with my Pixel was not compatible with T-Mobile. I dropped by this T-Mobile store in Lakeshore, near Lake Merritt, before dinner and was able to get a new nano-SIM in my phone and activated in no time. A photo ID was required. I'd just lost my wallet before my trip, but luckily I had my passport on me. The total cost to me was $21.90. I wasn't sure if I'd get some sort of discount or anything for being an existing T-Mobile customer (for well over a decade), but nope. For T-Mobile subscribers with Pixel phones: T-Mobile is currently running an offer where they will pay you $325 in the form of 24 monthly bill credits if you sign up for the T-Mobile ONE plan and use promo code PIXEL. Visit the following link for more details: https://www.t-mobile.com/offer/google-pixel-phone-offer.html.

Open up T-Mobile!! This is quite unprofessional.

One of the worst T-Mobile stores I've ever used. Staff is unhelpful and unfriendly. One rep tried to overcharge me for a SIM card.

I had issues with my signal booster. Fred, Khadijah, and the manager took care of me. Thank you!

I intended on giving this place a 0/5 stars, and would have if it wasn't for Andre. Seriously give…read morethis man a raise or a promotion. When I walked in at 5pm on a Friday, I was immediately told that they were closed despite the posted hours on the door stating they didn't close for another 3 hours. It looked like there were 3 groups of people and only one very angry/rude employee. She told me to go to another location or (after asking about the hours on the door) I was told I could wait for hours. So I tried to go to the other location that was suggested to me but they were already closed. So when I reluctantly came back as a last resort effort to activate my SIM card, Andre was there and thank god for Andre. He looked like the youngest, possibly the newest of the 3 employees who were there by now. Andre was helping 3 people at once, greeting everyone as they came in, and was just nice and helpful in every interaction I saw. It was a very different experience from when I was barked at and lied to instantly when I walked through the door an hour earlier. So thank you Andre! This place sucks without you.

I came in with a 2yo old phone to have my daughter's line be connected to it. 3 sales people said it was impossible and it could only happen if I had a new phone, I declined. I called Verizon and they walked me through setting it up and it was done in less than 30min.

My Dad switched my…read morephone from T-Mobile to his account with AT&T because I asked him to :) and that started the day before. He lives in TX and I think the rep out there was doing something shady but that's a review for that store. Anyway, I was on hour 28 with no service to my iPhone, green bubbles for iMessages, just all the things were going wrong. Lamar was a gem, as soon as I walked in the door he was trying to help me. I was there so long he had to take his lunch and I was still on the phone with AT&T with no luck. Then Christian the manager steps in and he miraculously taps into my settings and fixes all the problems. Messages coming through, phone calls can be made, blue iMessages... just amazing! Thank you both so much for your assistance. I'll be in soon for my upgrade :)

Verizon store was slammed. 10/15 people in the store. I was in a virtual line over there with 7 people in front of me. I went to this ATNT store and it was completely dead. 5/6 employees just kicking it. Cool, this should be easy. I explained the offer I had been given on the phone and asked about phone prices. They wouldn't offer the deal from the ad I'm going to post a photo of. No free iPhone at all. 300 was the minimum they were going to tack on. So I mean I don't really understand. This store just doesn't offer what the deals they advertise? Went back and got my stuff at Verizon. After 9 years of okay service I thought I might switch. Guess not. After the experience it made it clear why Verizon was slammed and this store was empty
