A bunch of super unprofessional young people that don't want to be there. They're all just laying around, rolling their eyes at everything. Came in to replace a work phone that was stolen and they couldn't help me because my phone was not connecting to their Wi-Fi. "Do you know why our Wi-Fi isn't working?". Ma'am, why tf would I know that? I don't work here??? Their suggestion was for me to find a Wi-Fi somewhere and set up my phone and then come back to them so that they can activate the eSIM. I was trying to suggest an alternative setup route by utilizing my personal phone to set up the phone so that we can access the phones information, and the young staffer I was working with seemed totally lost and told me to go home and set up my phone. So simply because you are not making any money and not selling a product, you are going to treat customers like absolute garbage? Also, why are the employees so incompetent and unable to find an alternative troubleshooting route to setting up a phone line that has already been an existence for years ? I know this isn't the first time they set up a replacement for a stolen phone on the basis that it happens everywhere in LA. Recently went to this location with my spouse because they want to leave AT&T. I've been with T-mobile for two years. When I first switched from AT&T I was told *at this location* that my bill each month would be $100 auto pay. The salesperson then told me I got a free gift of an air tag. I don't use AirTags and told him I didn't need it. He told me I might be able to give it away since it was free I should just take it. I agreed and it's been unused and closed in the package in my house for 2 years. When I went recently with my wife the customer service agent pointed out I have an unused line. They signed me up for an additional line for the "free" gift I told them I did not want. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. The customer service is nonexistent. They do not greet you when you walk in. They are very lackluster and non-communicative. I just left after waiting 20 minutes to simply buy a phone charger! I waited and waited, ordered food next door at Vala Kitchen (which I do highly recommend), came back and still was not acknowledged or addressed. This location is simply terrible. They are always out of products as well and just have a shrug their shoulders atmosphere about them. They have no urgency whatsoever and were very poorly trained. A smile and acknowledgement go a long way, especially since it was known by the be gentleman working there that all I needed was a charger. The lady at the front didn't bother asking. What a huge loss of sales. They are understaffed and we are underserved. They didn't have screen protectors the other day I was there and no one bothered telling me that I could have had one sent to my house under the insurance that I paid for. I for that out at the other location in La Canada and the service was night and day. This is my local T-Mobile but I shall not return. They should take off their pink and black shirts because they take no pride in working there. There were a couple of men who worked for Apple who even tried to assist me but I was stuck there because they could not sell any products. Zero stars. Don't waist your time there. I see a lot of negative reviews mostly from individuals who struggle with asserting themselves and have a hard time saying "no" when it comes to an employee trying to upsell. If you are new to capitalism, I have news for you, it's a part of their JOB. Yesterday I was in and out within 35 minutes thanks to Samantha. Each employee there had great energy and we shared some laughs throughout me upgrading my phone. I live for moments like those. These are real people, not just customer service and when I read bad reviews it's almost as if people forget they are human as well and can have a bad day just like you and I. Lots of gratitude to Samantha and the team. You are wonderful and you improved my mood for the rest of the day and not to mention when I left without my phone case and charger she ran out of the store to come find me and make sure I had it. Yes the store was busy as many of us were standing around, so please bare with them. The other lady idk her name but she was wearing the black and white dunks. Where do I even begin? I walked into this store looking to get a new phone for my mom. I explained this to the employee that was helping me out and she asked what I was looking for. Things started out fine as we were looking at different options. I explained to her that my mom didn't need anything fancy since 1) she's 64 and 2) she only uses her phone for basic calling, texting, and web surfing, nothing else. She then showed me a phone that was $199. I asked about basic specs, maybe things employees should know. I decided this was the phone I wanted to get. This is where things started going south. She goes and brings the phone out from the back and as she approaches the counter I realized she was also carrying another box. I then noticed it was a power brick for charging. I didn't think much of this and then she proceeded to tell me my total, $348.00. I then asked her how we got from $199 to $348. This is where the lying and the games begin. She explained to me that there is an upgrade service fee of $35. This is true and I was okay with that. So far $199 + $35 = $234. Next she explains that I have to pay taxes on the phone. So I asked her how much taxes were. She tells me it's 10%. So I look at her and say "okay, so 10% of $200 is $20, so what else am I paying for?" She tells me "I don't know, that's just how much the phone costs with taxes". Total so far should be $199 + 35 + $20 = $254. Now I look at her and ask her "Can I see how the total is broken down?" So she then slowly turns her iPad around and I see the break down. She was charging me the $35 upgrade fee (which was okay), but she was also charging me for a different phone that was $248, AND she was charging me for the power brick accessory. Mind you that at this point she hadn't even mentioned the power brick at all. So basically she thought I wouldn't ask anything about these things. So I asked her why the price of the phone was different which she then starts to look around nervously and asks her coworker "oh did you give me the wrong phone?" Now I realize that this could have been a mistake where maybe the wrong phone might have been grabbed from the back. That's okay, we all make mistakes. However, she knew and was well aware of what phone I was looking to get, so I'm not sure this was more a mistake than an act of dishonesty. So now I look at her and I say "I won't need the power brick because I have a ton of chargers at home, thank you." She then tells me "Oh unfortunately we can't let customers leave the store with a new phone without also buying at least one accessory." I'm looking at her like "you're kidding right?" while she is standing like a deer in front of headlights nervous because I'm actually trying to figure out what the heck is going on. At this point I'm done and I tell her that I don't want it anymore. She looks at me shocked as if I'm the crazy one here. The customer service here is horrible, not to mention the fact that employees are trying to lie to your face to upsell. I have a family member that works at T-Mobile and she said the accessory story is just a tactic to sell more. Not only that, but employees will do the most to charge more for things you don't need. All this to say that this is probably the worst T-Mobile I've been to. Don't treat your customers like idiots because in the end the real idiots will be found out to be the lying employees desperately trying hard not to get caught. I have worked in retail before and I know how much companies push their employees to upsell whichever way they can. But the dishonesty and lack of integrity from these employees is pretty disappointing. Do better. read more

Terrible customer service, the "store manager" lacks empathy, and doesn't have a reference point as to what great customer service looks like. I'm a longtime customer with T-Mobile and this is by far the most unsatisfactory store experience I've had. I cracked my screen protector while traveling in Asia. The type of screen protector I purchased allows me to replace it (free of charge) when it gets damaged. This isn't exactly the case as I've come to find out and I was now being forced to purchase a new once since I no longer have the old one. I mean, is there no small exception that can be made for something that was damaged in a country over 16 hours away nearly two weeks ago? Of course I no longer have it. Instead of offering solutions, the employees all offered a "no" or "we can't". No, they WON'T! This is not how lead my teams to respond to member/customer issues. I work as a manager for one of the most high end fitness companies in the country and we find solutions. His associate, Jacqueline, was incredibly dismissive and seemed uninterested in addressing my concerns or escalating a matter that she was unwilling to resolve to her "manager". Ricardo Lazo should reconsider his position as a team leader or "store manager" (I use this term loosely). He was just as uninterested, unwilling to help, and just as unsympathetic as his associate. Stores on La Brea (near Target) and on Sunset (across from Ralph's) have excellent staff by the way. I expect to hear from their District/Regional Manager (Noe Onofre--whose name Ricardo could barely remember how to spell) or another manager who oversees the operations of that particular location. One thing I forgot to mention is that I actually went in to purchase a new pair of Beats headphones after they replaced my screen protector... I completely forgot about that once the lack of service was apparent. Now I'll have to go to Best Buy. Thank you. Update: Sunset and La Brea store worked with me and replaced my screen protector with no issues. They just recorded my ID information and sent me off with no issues. read more

The nasty female employee who "assisted" didn't even make any effort to help me with a basic question about settings on the phone and rudely told me to call Samsung. My primary reason though was to turn in a phone I traded in for an upgrade. She couldn't process it on her computer so I had to call customer service but she was rude even to the representative on the phone. The rep asked her to ship the phone and she literally said "I'm not going to do that for him, he can do that himself." I asked for her name but she rudely refused to give it to me. I told her she can't talk to customers like that and she kept arguing with me and accused me of being rude when all I did was go in there and ask for help. She wasn't wearing a name tag so there was no way I could get her name but she appeared to be of Hispanic descent, early 20's, long dark brown hair. This was on Friday, 2/24/23 at approximately 6:15pm. I have a picture of this individual if Management or Corporate needs it to identify her. We ended up going to another T-Mobile store where everybody was welcoming, friendly and professional. They answered my questions and took the trade in phone without any hassles. They were all wearing name tags unlike at the previous store. read more

I recently switched to T-mobile on a pretty good deal to get an iPhone 11. However, the phone I got didn't have enough storage and I needed one with more, so I went to this store on Sunset Blvd / Gower to exchange it. It started off being near impossible and I was getting frustrated. I had only had the new contract three days and I was ready to cancel the whole thing and go back to Verizon. Luckily, a T-mobile rep named Za'ara was helping me. We encountered all kinds of obstacles in the attempted exchange process and she patiently and cheerfully helped overcome them all. Not too long afterward, Anthony joined in the battle and they were able to overcome the impossible red tape of the T-mobile corporation and provide an adequate solution. They never got frustrated or gave up! My new phone should arrive tomorrow! Thank you! read more

I cannot tell y'all how happy I am with the service here. I went in today to possible switch phone companies and get a new phone. I was met at the door by tamie and Anthony. So friendly and polite. I dealt mostly with tamie but Anthony was around to answer questions and help out. It's a lengthy process switching phones and phone companies but with tamie the time flew by. We had a great conversation, laughed it up but she also took the time to explain to me different company policies. I had tons of questions and they both answered every single one no problem. I also appreciate that they weren't super pushy or aggressive T-Mobile experts/sales agents. Overall these two did such a great job. This location is the best. I recently took an elderly nieghbor to this this location. Initially, I thought he was just going to pay his current cell bill. Then, he inquired about a new iPhone and the woman at the counter told him it would only be $93 to upgrade from his old phone to a new iPhone.Sounds like a great deal. BIG F#CK LIES!!! I even asked her several times, "so the total amount for him to upgrade is $93? All in?" and she responded several times "yes"...This is SCAM!!!!! They clearly realized that he could easily be swindled and they took advantage of him. He trusted them and they FAILED HIM!!!! They also told him 30 days to return the phone. Another FAT LIE!!! He went to return it three weeks later because he never used it, did not have proper transportation and then the truth comes out....TMobile now has him on the hook for $843!!! They refused to take the iPhone back. This is such a FOUL SCAM. This poor old man was so viciously lied too and I witnessed it. It is so DISGUSTING that corporations take advance of elderly, challenged and limited income people!! To blatantly lie so badly and screw him over is unacceptable!!! I will be closing my own personal account with TMobile after witnessing this and will tell everyone I know about this abuse!! Update: The manager, Richardo, is also a horrible liar. My mom and I left very happy customers. Joyce, manager, was able to answer all questions and concerns. She was very patient and was willing to explain as many times as possible in order for us to understand the changes. Joyce speaks Spanish, a PLUS. Daniel was also very kind. Unbelievably slow service. Just stood there for 30 minutes without as much as being acknowledged. All the while, one of the employees disappeared back after some walking trip around the block, walking right by a line of customers and didnt return for 10+ minutes. After 30 minutes of just standing there, I left. Of the seven total people I waited with, 3 others also left. I was second in line. Took 25 minutes to acknowledge the guy ahead of me. I'm assuming most t-mobile stores are independently owned. If so, I encourage you to avoid this store at all costs and to give your business to a store where the employees at least feign interest in customer service. read more

They fucked up TWO rebates one for my phone and one for a tablet order. A year ago we were supposed to get a free tablet (after rebate) with a LG G6. We got the tablet and this T-Mobile location never enrolled us for the rebate deal. It caused a major headache on a $240 tablet. Now I'm finding out that when I paid off my Galaxy S8 and traded it in for a Galaxy S9+ that I was never enrolled for the $360 trade in promotion in March 18'. read more
