I brought my iPad Pro in with two separate issues. The first issue was resolved within one day. The second issue was the cracked/smashed screen that I've been dealing with for weeks. After new glass was ordered it was installed in about 24 hours (a day faster than they initially told me). I went in for a BYOD so that I wouldn't be stuck with a cell contract, and Peter was friendly, professional, and knew what I needed (better than Spectrum did, they were a little unclear.) Do not go to this business. If you have an iPhone, go directly to Apple. This shop charged me $150 to replace my screen and claimed they were installing an OEM replacement, which turned out not to be accurate. Within seven hours of the repair, the screen was no longer sitting flush with the phone, the display stopped working, and my phone began overheating severely and shutting off periodically. I took the phone back to the store, but the owner wasn't there. I explained everything to the sales associate, and he told me there was nothing they could do because they couldn't guarantee the phone would work properly after the repair. I asked for a refund, but they refused. I then requested that they reinstall my original screen, and they did--but they still refused to refund my money. The customer service was also disappointing. While they weren't disrespectful to me personally, I watched them argue with and speak very disrespectfully to an elderly woman who was trying to get help. It was completely unprofessional. I would not waste my time or my money at this business. I highly recommend going directly to Apple instead, which is exactly what I did. Apple charged me essentially the same price, provided a 90-day warranty, and even extended it for an additional three months. Save yourself the frustration and go to Apple. On a Friday late afternoon, we tried to get my wife's ten year old small iphone battery replaced at another shop. They could not get it to work after they installed the new battery. We were referred to Dialnet and we went there late Friday evening. Peter was sooooo helpful and diagnosed that the mother board was dead and that he could not revive it. But he did have a wonderful refurbished iPhone 11se that he sold us for $199 and then helped us download all her info off of the cloud!!! Apple wanted $600 for a new larger phone!! (My wife likes smaller phones.) Peter was amazing and got us back up and running and saved us hundreds of dollars!!! Thank you soooo much Peter!!! read more

I went in Wednesday last week, June 12th to get my screen fixed after visiting Apple first, which quoted me ($380 without Apple care) This establishment charged me $199... once I left the shop they charged me $30 more in fees that they didn't mention over the phone. After I confirmed that the $199 was the full price... so I went in and then they said you have a warranty and whatever happens to your screen as long as it's not cracked or water damaged or cracked. So I got my screen fixed... 14 hours later the screen goes black, no water damage no cracks... I go back in because I have a "warranty" they do not help at all and tell me it's gonna be $199 again but they will do it for $150 to "help me out"... aka they are a scam I would have been better off going to Apple for the same price with original parts read more

Anyone who is looking for the best professional services from the most honest business owner should visit Dialnet. I was referred to Dialnet by AT&T's main office because my cell wasn't working with their new SIM card, and AT&T was sure the problem was my cell, but Dialnet confirmed by placing the SIM card on another cell and called AT&T to let them know their SIM card was malfunctioning. I took my other cell phone and laptop to Dialnet for repair. Instead of charging me an arm and a leg, I was told to replace the cell instead of paying for repair, which will only be a temporary fix. I was charged half of the estimate on both the cell and laptop because the owner advised me to get a new one. He had a chance to charge not only the full amount of the estimate, but he could have asked for more to temporarily fix both the cell and laptop, but he chose to be honest and professional, which is a very rare combination nowadays. This has been my go to for cell phone screen/charger repair. Quick, honest, and also just a good team. The owner told me he'd been there since 1995. I have a Samsung S21+ with a cracked screen/charger issue. Facts: T-Mobile doesn't do regular upgrades. They do new phones with new plans/lines - or trade in $350 for qualified (newer/great condition phones) or $850 trade in (but you need to have the newest plan (less than a year old). We don't have the newest plan (though still unlimited) and my screen was cracked. I thought, I'll fix my phone and then do a trade in. By the time DialNet was done, my phone was like brand new anyhow so I said f@#k the trade in. read more

My dinosaur iPhone12 mini battery had two percent left and with just seconds to go, T-Mobile (I just left them because they're a rip off. If you're over 50, Consumer Cellular charges a third of what T-Mobile charged me for the same exact service!) and they recommended Dialnet just blocks away from me on Melrose. I called with seconds left to spare on my phone at 6pm (they close at 7pm) and they said "Come on down!!" They were so nice and professional and fixed it in a timely manner and a fraction of the cost that Apple would have charged. I needed my phone NOW and they delivered! Thanks to Peter, the owner, and his incredible employee - I had my fully charged phone back and working by 6:45pm. a minute ago Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value My good friend had a broken screen for her iPhone XR, and ultimately let's just say it all went bad.... First visit- (end of January) $150 plus tax on BOTH PARTS and LABOR -- and came out about 170 - they replaced the screen with a cheap after market part, the screen didn't last less than a week before the panel failed and went green. She took the phone back to the store a week after getting it replaced and they stated that there was going to cost $80 ( if they couldn't fix it). And more depending on any extra parts.... Needless to say She asked to have atleast a partial refund and they refused. So now it cost her $250 to have a phone that isn't even fixed, in hindsight she should of just had the phone replaced through insurance or spoken to someone who could have directed her to a better phone repair company. The owner is ultimately left with two choices, First choice: is to continue doing bad business and slowly watch his business go down the drains and rest assured, I will do my part to make sure that happens OR Second choice: the owner decides to give my friend atlesst half of her money back, which is more than "dialnet") this antiquated so called repair shop )deserves to keep especially for charging so much for a $20 Screen and I will refrain from showing the world what they are really made, remove these negative reviews and let us part ways peacefully or they can see how well their company holds up against a pissed of ethical hacker . I dropped off my Android to replace the glass cover that broke when I dropped my phone. One of the owners ordered a replacement and said it would be delivered the next day. It was and the second owner started to replace it for me the next day. While working on it, a customer came in and he stopped what he was doing and offered to help the customer. I think, from the way they greeted each other that they knew each other. The owner said to me, yours will only take a minute when I get back to it. He then spent about 15 minutes selling and fixing the product for the other customer. He did not ask if I minded, nor did he apologize...but I guess that would acknowledge that he knew he could make a few more quick bucks, while I waited. I found it to be very assumptive and in very bad taste and when he returned to work on my phone it took another 20 minutes, which meant he did not want the other customer to wait that period of time....better to make the extra money and have me wait...mine was already paid. I left my phone to fix one day before riots act due protest and when I came to pick it up they said My phone was stolen and they have no insurance or responsibility of what happen. Also they give me advice to report LOST with my carrier and they should take care of it, which is not actually what happened because my phone WAS NOT LOST. Came back today to ask them if they would be responsible again for my phone and they said I could talk to my attorney but I would lost if I go forward with that because that was not their fault and they have no responsibility of what happened to them, which I totally disagree because it's not fair I have to go forward with that and try to figure it out how to get a new phone since I left at their responsibility. I definitely would be cautious about bringing your phone to this location. Really unprofessional. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT Continuing after business manager response... I have not threatened your business with attorneys at anytime of the conversation. Whoever have a basic knowledge of professionalism knows that your store is responsible for my phone. I had a truly awful experience with this phone repair place. They replaced my cracked phone screen with a terrible quality one that had protruding edges and dead pixels; none of my cases could even fit this phone due to added thickness of the screen. Additionally, the battery replacement they did also led to continuous disconnections, forcing me to return three times. On my third visit, the owner was extremely unprofessional, dismissing the issue and attacking me verbally, as he refused to take any accountability whatsoever, and falsely blamed my phone for being "defective" when it was in perfect working order until I used their services. I never leave negative reviews but I would strongly advise against. I now will be purchasing a new phone when simply all I needed was a new phone screen from the beginning; nothing else was wrong with the phone unlike how the owner was framing and deflecting responsibility. Very unfortunate. Edit: absolutely LOVE the owner says below that Im trying to get a free repair. I came in sincerely because the 3rd time the phone disconnects from the battery - which was completely not EVER Inflated before their repair. Terrible screen that protruded AFTER he had replaced the parts; Not before. Notice deflection. The phone also has yellowing all over due to the horrible screen quality. Owner was incredibly RUDE and asserts my feedback as rudeness; did not demand anything from him before he jumped and attacked me, with no mentioning of asking for even a free repair but just to help. My boss Eric swears by you guys and he was right. Shawn has helped him out a number of times over the years and totally saved him money. Most recently, there's been an issue the charging port. VZW told him to get a new phone or file for an insurance claim. He decided to pop in and see Shawn. Originally Shawn thought maybe replace the port for only around $40 - which was amazing; however, Shawn went the extra mile and noticed it wasn't the port connector that was busted. He cleaned off something that had gotten stuck (like almost glued like to) in the port and just cleaned it off. The phone charges perfectly now and the whole fix cost only $10. Just had my iphone 11 repaired here today. My mom had broken off the charging cord into The charging port. They were able to repair it which Was less expensive then having to put in a brand new port.
