My old iphone battery was at death's door so I called these guys for a quote to replace it. The price was right (about $40 for a third party battery/labor, although they do offer official Apple batteries for more money) so I popped in on a Sunday to have them switch it out. Took my iPhone 8 to replace screen. They replaced screen and LCD. I was asked if I wanted a screen protector, which I purchased. Then I was asked if I wanted a case, I asked what he suggested, he gave me a cheap case at first and I voiced my concern that it wasn't enough I wanted to get a full case, like an otter box. He then gave me another case, which was a better quality but still not enough protection for me, but he assured me it would protect it. I still voiced my concern and he said, this is the best. I made the mistake of taking his word on it and not following my instincts. Within days the screen was broken in a way the case should have protected it and now I have a broken screen again. And my screen has been also activating itself without me touching it. I returned to store and told him my issues, I was then told they would give me a new screen for a discount price, and when I brought up the fact he assured me on my case purchase, he started backpedaling sayin no case can protect anything. And didn't allow me to speak, by continuously talking over me and cutting me off. He also bypassed the fact that my phone is activating itself and jumped right into trying to get me to pay them for another screen. I encourage you not to do business with them, and if you do, don't take their word on product selections because they won't stand by it. They made their money and that's that. I had spent the last 3 hours at the apple store trying to get my phone fixed/figured out and then an hour at ATT to just buy a new phone, but ATT was out of stock of what I wanted! Was doing some jumping jacks before a run this morning and my phone fell out of my pocket. Unfortunately the entire screen shattered and cracked. This was the first this had ever happened to me and I wasn't sure if I had to get a new phone. These guys are very good. I have had a cracked interior thing in my phone - and TMobile actually referred me here. That got fixed. Then a year later I had a different issue with my charger. They fixed it. And I've tried to be gentle with my phone --- but it happened again. They fixed it again...though I was just out of the warrantee period. It's also a Boost Mobile outlet, so there's that, too, if you do that sort of thing. They're open Sundays, too. Dialnet is at least a four and half star place. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE (iPhone Repair & unlock by Dialnet)!!!!On multiple occasions I went to get my phone fixed because I worked on the Melrose strip. Recently I've been there because I've dropped my phone and cracked the screen. After last Repair I was still having issues & asked if it was an original Apple screen that they gave me... their reply was "No. But we will order you one, come back in 2 days". I did. I still had issues and I had a technician today come to my home to fix my phone because I questioned the work they had done for me in the past & for my friends. When he opened it (in front of my eyes) he told me that the screen was NOT an original Apple screen and showed me multiple locations of where damage was made, that could only have been made when opening the phone previously. I tried calling to speak to the owner and I spoke to, Peter... who basically said call back later! I tried to speak about this but they just didn't give a damn after taking hundreds of MY HARD EARNED DOLLARS! Here are pictures taken of the damage they did to my phone! Needed a cracked phone screen repaired; however the cracked screen worked better and was more responsive then the newly placed screen. New screen looks as if it's bubbling on the sides and not staying down; no refund or anything was offered when called only a couple hours later to tell them of the issue. This place absolutely sucks. They replaced my screen for my iPhone 6S here. After the first replacement, the screen started to go black. My second visit there to fix their "fix". They claimed that it was unrelated to the screen replacement and advised to replace the bad "Home" button that broke and wouldn't exit the screensaver mode. After the second "fix", my phone started heating up like crazy while doing normal things like browsing Instagram. My third visit there to ask for a refund, and despite being there in the regular business hours, they "can't do it" and I need to come in the 4th time, because their boss is not there...Mind you, it's Melrose and getting there and parking is pain. I wasn't able to come again because I was leaving overseas. Now a few weeks later, the phone heats up, battery drains in an hour (probably because of that), and today the screen started to go black again. And no, it's NOT cheaper than in Apple Store. Apple store quoted me about $140 for the screen+home button replacement. I paid these guys $125 for a completely screwed phone...Now I'm on vacation in Europe and I can't even take photos of the places I go, because my phone doesn't work. Oh, the last thing, the screen protector they sold me for additional $10 cracked the very next day. Do not recommend. Very poor job... Literally 1 star from me for the fun old flip phone display in the window and pager blow ups on the ceiling, that's literally it. P.S. Whatever great reviews they have must be fake...4.5 stars? Unfortunately I have to write a negative review. I changed my screen at Dialnet a week ago. Great service in the store and a fast exchange of my screen that was broken. Everything seemed fine in the store and the price was reasonable. I travelled back home to Sweden two days after and compared the new screen to the screen on my work iPhone and there was a very clear difference from that to the screen Dialnet had replaced for me. The picture is very pale when i compared them and have a blue shade. A couple of days ago the 3D touch on my phone stopped working propery. I emailed Dialnet about this and asked for help. They suggested I would send the phone back to them to Los Angeles from Sweden so they could replace the screen (!) and that the pale screen is normal after replacement. I have changed screens on my older iPhone before here in Sweden and have never gotten a result like this. Its not normal unless you use poor quality replacement screens. I answered that of course not I was not going to send my phone halfway over the world for them to replace the screen again and i suggested a whole or partial refund because I Need to change it again at home. In Sweden we pay 250 USD to replace a screen to original glass on iPhone 7. Of course they refused and still replied that i should send or "stop by"... Their response to this will probably be the same they answer any other complains here on Yelp: we use high quality material etc.... Believe me they dont. They use cheap, crappy glass and I dont know about the work either. Its not properly done if the 3D touch stops working after 4 days. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to repair their phone. Go to an authorized repairstore instead. Its worth the money and I learned a lesson. It would have been so easy for them to avoid this review. A small, partial refund had made me satisfied and I would had gave them a better review for solving the issue the best way possible, considering I live in Sweden and have no possibility to go back to the store or mail my phone to them. read more

I would give 6 stars if I could. This place is as good as it gets. Complete competence and old fashioned wonderful customer service. A rarity these days. This is the second time I sought their help - both times with phones that had died and which were beyond Apple's ability to retrieve the data (contacts, photos, etc.). Apple had told me there was no solution. For the geniuses at Dialnet however it was no problem at all. Within an hour or so, both times, mission accomplished. All information retrieved. On top of this, they could not be nicer people. Sean is a real mensch and went out of his way to help me out. I have a circa-2013 Apple iPad Mini 2 that is perfect for what I need except for the battery life which had dwindled to 1 hour of runtime. I found these guys on Yelp and the reviews were great so I took it in. They had the OEM battery in stock and were able to replace the original battery in one day. They were even willing to cover the screen in case it got damaged in the process, apparently common, and they also offer a 90 day warranty on the battery, same as Apple. Great job! read more

Dialnet are heroes!! I went to the Apple store and Melrose Mac and they weren't able to solve my problem. Then I discovered Dialnet... They were the only ones able to fix my iPhone 6 when it crapped out and wouldn't turn back on past the apple logo on the reboot screen. They work fast and have great customer service!
