This review is about the manager and their policies (1 star). I went into this store to buy a new phone. The woman who helped me was knowledgeable and very nice (5 stars). When it came time to ring me up, she informed me there would be a $20 "assisted service upgrade fee" that apparently T-mobile now charges whenever you purchase a phone in a store. She asked the manager to waive it, since I literally just needed to pay for the phone. I didn't need any assistance transferring contacts or photos or anything like that. I just wanted to buy a phone and be on my way. But the manager wouldn't waive it, so I went home and bought my phone directly from T-mobile's website, where they don't charge you a fee to sell you a phone. read more

For the first time in a very long time I experienced the best customer service and care at a T-Mobile store, and it was at this location. The last time I had had great service was at the longer existing store in Belmont Shore. Anyway... I was immediately greeted by Yolanda, placed on a list and asked to wait to be helped. His co-worker Pong got on the phone and special ordered it for me with her own funds. $6, the main thing is that these 2 people went out of their way to help me, so I would have a working phone, & I think they are pretty special & with people like that working for them, that's why I keep going back to t-mobile. Parking here is rough if it's a busy time. When you walk in, it's hard to know where to stand in line. There are three desk areas with people helping people, but everyone ignores you unless you stare at them. They're usually pretty good about helping you out once you get their attention. Otherwise, you'll have to stand and wait a while. Not my favorite T-Mobile store, but it's the closest one to me, so I guess I don't really have a choice. Meh! read more

I walked into this store with the feeling of going to the dentist for a root canal. My experience with my previous carrier had left me seriously gun shy. To my surprise the clerk, Veronica, was as calming and courteous as could be. I had technical problems with a phone I had purchased the previous day. She did everything in her power to resolve the problems and assure me that everything would be ok. While she was assisting me, other customers would come in...........this is what impressed me the most..........she acknowledged each and every one, and made sure that they were comfortable while she assisted me. They got busier, then the manager, Joe, came over to assist Veronica in solving my problem. She then excused herself extremely graciously and began to help the next customer. Joe solved my problem while maintaining calm in the store. EVERY customer was satisfied. Did i mentioned..............this was not the location I purchased the phone. They were awesome!!!. read more

If you are seeking any help DO NOT ask RUSSEL, the "manager" for it, he will roll your eyes at you! He will doubt everything you're assuming about your new phone and tell you that it's probably not the phone, it's probably something you're not getting. Absolutely rude!!! I went through the manual, the internet, and called customer service for help before thinking about bothering anyone at the TMobile establishment in person. You're obviously there to make sales because you excused yourself to help close a sale with someone else and just left me hanging because you don't want to deal with a couple questions. So if it's something I'm not doing, then why weren't you able to fix my problem? All you did was erase all my applications, contacts, EVERYTHING!!! As a T-Mobile loyalist since 2002, I like to do business with people that care. Last year I had a poor experience at my local, #DTLB store, but here I was treated like royalty. Manny M. was honest, efficient and took the time to make sure everything was working on my new iPhone6S when I traded in the older iPhone today. Although some people were waiting to speak with him, he didn't help them until I walked out the door. That kind of personalized, concerned service is what makes a good salesperson. For the past couple of months, I have been going back and forth on the phone with T-Mobile representatives with no resolve for a simple issue. I finally stormed into a store, and instantly realized after speaking with Veronica, that I should've gone in from the start of this whole debacle. "Customer Care" was incapable of fulfilling their end of a deal, unable to get their story straight and kept giving me the runaround for months. After being transferred from department to department and having to repeatedly explain the same story to each new representative, I was about to lose it. I've been a T-Mobile customer for a little over a year and a half and have been pretty happy with their services. However, my Galaxy S3 was on its last legs so I decided to pay a visit to the local store since it's within walking distance from my apartment. Going in I had planned to purchase an iPhone 6. I learned that not only was the PCH store completely sold out, but every store in the district. Judy, the sales rep that assisted me, was gracious enough to call stores in LA, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills to see if there was one in stock. I ended up decided to shell out a little more money to get the iPhone 6+ since I needed a new phone right away. Judy hooked me up with a great deal! I am very happy with my purchase and everyone at the PCH T-Mobile has always been outgoing, respectful and knowledgable about the phones and services. This location is always so busy and I was just in to pick up a case for my new phone yet no one seemed to be available to help you check out to purchase. One guy I was able to ask if he can just help me and he said yes,but as soon as another guy came out from the back to say something to him,he was poof be gone! Wth happened there I asked myself...so I went to another register to ask if I can just purchase,but no one wanna seem to assist you unless you're buying a new phone. A simple "we'll be right with you" will suffice,but they just lack customer service there. Finally, a Cambodian gal who was also helping another person was able to help me since I asked if she can ring me up. Even then,she wasn't fully engaged and had to ask me if I used debit or credit and had to ask me for an ID when who cares now when I already swiped my card? Overall,I will not be coming back here anytime soon or at all if I can help it. read more

About 5 months ago i signed up with tmobile and had ordered the new iPhone 6 over the internet, once my order was shipped i was notified and i was waiting for it from ups, but my phone never got delivered and i called ups to figure it out and they had no idea what was going on, so i called tmobiles customer service department to get this resolved, and they transferred me to 4 different departments before anyone could help me figure out what to do and how to get a new one delivered to me, so finally someone was able to help and said i had to wait to get a response from their investigations department, so i did and it took 4 days for them to reply me with an answer, and once they did i was told that the phone was in use on the account so they were closing the case, i was so frustrated and irritated at this point because i had all the proof that the phone was never delivered to me and i felt tmobile was basically saying well F you, were not going to do anything for you, so i tried to call back the customer service department and once again i kept getting transferred all over the place. Im fed up at this point and just want to cancel the whole order and just get my money back because there customer service department absolutely sucks! so i decide to drive down to the closest tmobile store location by my house in long beach, which ends up being the one on pacific coast highway. The manager their Yolanda absolutely turned my whole experience around for me, i told her the situation and showed her all the proof i had showing the phone was never delivered to me, so she looked into it for me and took the time to actually help me figure out how to get this resolved, she called tmobile for me and told them that the email they sent me had to be in error and that there is no activity on my account as well, so after finally proving it she ordered me a new phone and got it delivered to the store for me, so it wouldn't happen again. Yolanda was very friendly and had my back the whole time on the situation. She definitely went above and beyond for me, made sure that my bill was fixed as well, since they tried to charge for usage on the phone from the first delivery attempt. if it wasn't for yolanda helping me i was 100% canceling my order with them. Just is absolutely the BEST! Anytime I have a question or concern, all I have to do is text her and he takes care of the problem immediately. I would like to commend the employees of this T-Mobile store for providing excellent customer service!! Prior to my first of three store visits, I thought I was going to loose all the information on my broken phone due to the condition of the screen. Thanks to the help of your team majority of my info was saved! I am admittedly inept when it comes to technology and your team showed no signs of frustration. Each staff member patiently helped me with my various needs . Eric transferred my broken phone's information to the loaner phone despite the constraints presented by the damaged screen. Pongs was a great communicator and did all she could to fit as much onto the loaner phone as possible. Andy was friendly and transferred all my contacts using Bluetooth since my new phone couldn't be connected to the machine they typically use. If i can give this store -5 stars i would! Do not go to this store at all! I repeat at all! I went to this store to leave Sprint service and bought a phone and tried to trade in my Sprint I-Phone 6s and got a 6s Plus and they told me that they would not take my Sprint phone which was not true customer care said. 2 days later i went to the store to trade my phone for a I-Phone 6s because the plus was too big and i took off the cover to the phone and the screen was poped up on one side due to the glue coming up which i never seen on a iphone before the girl told me i dropped the phone. My phone looked brand new out the box still. Then there horrible rude short manager comes over and tells me he cant take it and i have to go to Apple SMH! So i was the one that pointed the issue to him and he kept refusing it and told me to my face Apple dosent use glue on the phone and a whole bunch of other crap as well as telling me i was dilussional. On the way out i told him that he needed to fix his attitude and he told me shut the fuck up and locked the door as they were closed. Yolanda and Ruben are the best! I haven't step into a t-mobile store in over 7 years. AT&T being complicated which made us switch back to t-mobile. Anywho that's another subject. My siblings and I walked in determine to grab our hands on the note 4. Ruben the sales rep approached us and we mention to him how we want to switch over and right away he went to his computer and stated typing away. He had mention there's only one note 4 left and I knew my sister want it. So I was looking for another phone because I wanted something different from a iPhone. He started mention all type of phones and their quality including the iPhone 6 plus and I asked to see it. It was love at first site. I knew I couldn't betray my iPhone clan lol. Any who it's took us nearly 2 hours to complete everything. Complication here and there since my sister and my parent contract with AT&T wasn't done and how my sister had have to turn in her note 3 in order to have credit and so on. My sister did not want to part ways from her phone because her husband had bought it (sentimental barf). That's when Yolanda came to the rescue and gave us other options regarding the fees. I turn in my iPhone5 to help with cancelation fee and she helped transferred all my data to my new phone. Overall we paid under 40$ for 4 phones and walked out happy and impressed on how dedicated the two sales rep was to their job! I had a bad experience with my past service provider, and didn't want to jump back in another contract with another provider just yet. I'm indecisive & there are so many things to consider. I ended up doing T Mobile's month to month plan for over a year and always used android. I was interested in the I phone 6 but weary about starting a contract and switching to Apple. My boyfriend and I stopped in T mobile just to consider options. Lizz was the lucky customer service rep that got to assist my difficult boyfriend and all my questions. Next thing I knew it was 10 min after closing time and Lizz was still answering questions. She was nice, patient, and knowledgeable the entire time. To sum it up I ended up getting the 6 plus and my boyfriend switched from Verizon and also got a 6 plus. We got a great shared plan & she even checked on me day later to make sure I was enjoying my new phone! I love my new phone and Lizz!!! Best customer service ever! I went into T-Mobile today. I always go in there to pay my prepaid account with my 2 brothers. A sales person by the name of manny helped us out to take the payment. Manny actually took the time to talk to us and help us out to save money by switching over to a family plan. I've been coming here for a long time now and it's the first time a someone actually took their time with us and not just see it as a prepaid payment. Thank you manny for your time and patience. I don't know why I went into this t mobile, knowing the lack of service that I have received many times and how unprofessional they are. It was convenient at the moment. I know many people that hate going there and have stopped going. I went in to ask them for help because I had locked my S 7 phone and couldn't unlock it They didn't know how to unlock it and said they could reset it but would clear out all of my files, numbers and pictures. The person who I was talking to was a female, with short hair, who was distracted the whole time, rude, and basically didn't care. She suggested I find a hacker!! As I stood there talking to her, some ignorant guy walks up and interrupts, handing his phone to her cause he doesn't have Internet connection, and she takes it from him, and ignores me like I am not there!!! They originally sold the phone to me, but they don't know what to do or what to tell people if the phones lock, which I am finding out is a problem with this phone. I later found out from another source (not there) that all you need is a Samsung account and you can locate your phone and unlock it. Now why is it that someone that sells the Samsung phones know nothing about this ??? I will never go back there, and will find another T mobile to give my business to. read more

This is definitely about the PCH store. I' ve been a T-Mobile subscriber since 2002 . . . one of their longest-term subscribers. Obviously, I've stayed with them because I've been happy with the service, am a senior, and don't need nor want the latest techie stuff so I don't change. I did begin to have problems when sending and receiving calls on my Blackberry. I went in to the PCH store (parking is terrible with a Starbucks right next door) and talked with Tim. Found out I needed a new SIM card which has remedied the situation. I was lucky enough to get in and be waited upon immediately and had a great time chatting with everyone who was watching the World Cup. Tim was sooooo helpful, I cannot compliment him enough. And I went in with a bad attitude!!! Tim was the best. I can't compliment him enough. He deserves a raise! I was not a happy camper when I entered the store and left a different person. I came to this location to get a new phone and plan and needless to say wasn't having the best of mornings. A sales associate by the name of Veronica P was extremely helpful in guiding me to choose the right plan and phone that best suit my needs. I have never written a yelp review but felt compelled to because of how much she helped me accomplish what I needed to get done and doing so even though I wasn't in the best mood. I asked to speak to her supervisor to give praise on her professionalism and kindness, but she directed me to yelp and so I find myself writing this review. I'm giving my experience 5 Stars Because I was in dire need of changing my plan and she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of even making sure I got all my pics from my old phone transfered to my new one. If you do decide to go to this location I suggest you ask for her assistance because it was top notch. Once again I can't say enough how pleased I was with how she handled my particular situation, and even helped me go about my day in a better mood.
