Worst customer service ever!!! I've been with T-Mobile for 10+ years and Nelson a representative there was so rude. I walked into this store to switch out my device. I just bought an iPhone6s at the Pomona service store on 7-25-17 The phone had a bad headphone jack, so i walked into the Pomona store and the representative there switched the whole device on 7-28-17. On 8-8-17, I had the same issue as the previous device. I decided to call 611 to see what else they could do for me. They quickly told me I had the buyers remorse coverage and could go to ANY store and switch it out. So I decided to walk into this la Verne location and Nelson was quick to try to turn me away and told me I had to go to the same location I bough it from. I told him customer service suggested I'd go to another location. He said it wasn't allowed. I told him to check and see and he told me he wouldn't because he knows it wasn't allowed. He also told me I was past the 14 days of my buyers remorse. I told him it didn't start till the 28th and on and even if I had 14 days from the 25th today would be the 14th day. He said it was 15 days since day one was the 25th. I told him that wasn't true because even I know that's a lie with out checking contracts and policy's. He then continued to tell me he would not do it. Long story short we went back and forth for a while and after asking about 3 to 4 times to call customer service he finally calls. To his surprise customer service told him I was right. He asked them about the 14 day policy and he they told him it actually begins from the 28th. He asked the customer service to check again... at this point I couldn't believe he was actually trying to convince customer service that he was right and we where alllllll wrong. He also asked if I could really go to any store, they said yes! He said are you sure.... it was mind boggling how he actually continued to try and find every excuse not to help. Finally he hangs up and says " ok, I'll be switching to help you out. " at this point of course I'm upset and I tell him "help me out??!, what did they tell you?" They said your still in the window" I asked " well what window? What date does it start?" He said the 28th I asked him well what about store? .... then he says " we'll do you want me to help you or not " .... I couldn't believe how arrogant he was! I finally asked if he had a bad day or not he said no.... I had to ask because I've worked customer service before and I get it, everyone had their days.... not in his case. Anyways, I did told him all he had to do is call customer service and I would of been fine. He again asked me if I wanted the help or not. I told him I walked into the store for just that, but his customer service was terrible. He offered a horrible apology at the end and says, " for what is worth I apologize for earlier" .... that was all he said.... and smirked. Almost enjoying how it all went down. I'm trying to make this short but this is how bad this guy was. I've been to this store before on other occasions and I've never seen him. Nelson needs retraining with customer service and I would and will always check on my policy's before a person that is not even a supervisor turns me around. I wondered why this store such a low grade but after a visit I can say I'll avoid this one at all costs. Came in here for a simple JOD after the note 7 fiasco. She had no idea what she was doing and didn't even know what jump was. I kept trying to explain to her what happened and she constantly had to ask for her co worker for help. Instead of helping me he went to to back room. So two workers in the back talking and one in the front who has no idea what she's doing. Sorry but don't come here unless you absolutely have to also be able to spend at least an hr here no man how simple the task is. Also avoid Steward he's pretty much a sleezy car salesmen pushing phones, I over heard him signing up someone one for a plan and gave them inaccurate information a few times. He also didn't bother helping me since he won't make any commission. You'll know who he is because he literally says sweet every other word. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 from this store just before Christmas 2014 - - about a month ago (early July, 2015 - after I downloaded the Lollipop update) it starting continuously rebooting. I took it to the store and the young lady did a warranty exchange (for $20) to get a new one - - when I received it, it did the exact same thing. Went to the store again, spoke with Stewart (who was very helpful) - and another phone was ordered, and at Stewart's suggestion I purchased insurance. Today (Monday, Aug 10) I got the "new" phone {it's actually a refurbished one - it has dings on it - - the one I was going to return looks newer} and it does the same thing - - so I took it into the T-Mobile store. Stewart deduced (accurately) that it was the battery and gave me Samsung's number to replace it. (But what about my "insurance"???) Called Samsung, who has a **11 day** turn around on replacements (even though I have "insurance") - - called T-Mobile themselves who actually suggested I buy one off Amazon because they can't help. (Which I did - - $20 with NEXT DAY SHIPPING - I will have it tomorrow, Aug 11, by 9pm). ANYWAY - - the point is that T-Mobile seems to pride itself on "customer service" - and after 3 (THREE) visits to this store, Stewart was the only one that took the time to try to figure out what was wrong (I was told by two other reps "we can't do that..." - - my questions are: what CAN you do and why have the insurance when I can get a better value on Amazon?). Everyone has an issue at one time or another - I've been without a (useful) phone for a month now - and yet, "everyone" at T-Mobile "can't do" anything for me. First & foremost I've been a satisfied TM customer for over 20 yrs. Since moving to La Verne in 2010 this is my store. I've stopped by numerous times needing help & they have always been very attentive. I have purchase 2 phones ..first one in May 2016. This past week I've been there twice. On 6/28/19 I walked in and both Alex, Asst Mgr & Erika were were busy...Alex brought chairs for those of us that were waiting. As I set there I notice who well they worked as a team & multi-tasked. When it was my turn he was very professional & took all his time to answer my questions..believe me he was very patient with this "senior citizen".Erika finished off my purchase & she was wonderful. I went back on 7/6/19 to returned the phone i had purchased..it was a little to sophisticated for me..it was not their fault it was idea to buy that particular phone in spite of my 2 sons advising not to. I had no problem returning my phone..Erika was my sells rep. however as she was looking up my info. Carlos came over & talked to me..and we briefly discussed what my needs were etc. and the phone that he taught fit my need. Erika, came back & spend tons of time with me...she showed me diff phones that would meet my needs & also my budget. She was very professional & courteous. OMG! so patient with me. What a lousy store. My husband and I walked in to buy a smart phone, and multiple sales people started pushing the most expensive phone on us without even asking about our needs. It was rude and ridiculous. When we chose a less expensive phone, they lost interest in us and treated us in a rather "ghetto" manner. On top of this, they gave us completely false information about paying through auto-renewal. We had to call T-mobile to find out what the facts were. So, I dropped my phone in the dishwasher at work. Like an industrial one. I was trying to figure out how to replace my phone but since the device wasn't working I wasn't able to look anything up in regards to get the replacement going. Alyssa, one of the store associates was great. She put up with my million questions and even called support for me from the store to double check and make sure she was giving me correct information. Only one person works here on weekdays (or at least this has been the case the last 3 times i've been here). Be prepared to wait around the store for 45 minutes at least. Service is awful and they cannot even help with basic stuff like ordering a new sim card which was lost and adding people onto your family plan. Smh. read more

Avoid this store. It is not a true t-mobile "corporate" store. The store is owned by Intouch Mobile. The sales people under the direction of the manager "Michael G." are a bunch of lairs and cheats. I went into this store to conduct a very basic and simple "plan upgrade". I was told that I had to chose a plan "upgrade" (take-it-or-leave-it pitch) that was 50% more in cost than what I was expecting to pay. I left, and went to the true t-mobile "corporate" store in San Dimas (next to 57 fwy & Arrow). T-mobile in San Dimas gave me exactly what I wanted. I cannot stand dishonest and fraudulent practices, and will not even think of ever going into the La Verne t-mobile store ever again - unless their is a change of management. read more

They are good at selling their promotions and making your monthly bill much larger than it already is, oh but when you want to pay off all the shit they talked you into buying they tell you that your bill will still be much higher without the installments?... There are only 2 folks who know what they are doing in this store. The manager and another helpful young lady. Yes team mobile has improved it's services, it's brand and gratefully so their prices. Sadly the group who is here at this store is representing this company. The sales people will tell you anything to make their sales, and promise you packages the company itself cannot deliver. The store didn't even have the proper equipment to transfer my data from my phone to the new phone I was purchasing. Are you kidding me? Only one machine that was down? All my supposed discounts were not applied at the time of the sale and I had to return an additional 4 times to have the manager address this. I was promised a " credit" after a year by these sales folks only to be told, um.. No .. There was never such a promotion going on. I do believe this is a good company with greatly priced phones packages. I am one of those folks who believes in sustaining business in my community, but this is where I take exception. If you desire team mobile services avoid the LaVerne store at all costs. You will not get what these sales folks are promising to deliver and it's not worth the headache. Be forewarned and go elsewhere. They are not good ambassadors or team mobile. read more
