My partner and I were having issues with getting the information from the 13 to the 17. We originally went to the store on Grossmont where we were going to have the information transferred. We ran into Fallon. She couldn't care less about good customer service. She was texting on her phone for the entire time we were there. She said we were all downloaded and when we got home no apps or contact were transferred. I thought i was going to have a weekend of downloading 100 apps. I called the store in Santee and spoke to Gabe who said to bring in the phones and they will fix the problem We went to the Santee store today and met with James. James did everything to get the information from the 13 to the 17. He was patient and genuinely cared about helping us. He was with us for a bout and hour and when we left the phones were perfect. I couldn't thank James enough for his professionalism and excellent customer service. Thank again James. Give the man a raise read more

Came in for questions about my phone service. I was greeted upon entry from very nice staff. This location can get busy but they work together very well to get customers in and out. The representative was able to call the customer service line for me and was able to resolve my account questions and issues. I like T-Mobile but think there is room for growth on their phone customer service end, what could have been resolved on the phone without hassle and as handled in store. They have great phone selections and phone plans. Like everything else, the service of both phone and internet is getting steep in price but I have had no phone issues as of yet to change. There is definitely room for growth. read more

So, If you are thinking about changing your cell phone carrier service to T-Mobile, you might want to think twice!!! I was charged $50 for ONE DAY of SERVICE when I canceled my service and transferred to Spectrum. When I received my bill last month,I was told " as a customer courtesy and since it was done on the cycle date, I would OWE ZERO DOLLARS because I did it on the cycle day." Then they charged d me $50 for TWO MINUTES OF TALK AND 10 MESSAGES!!! PLUS they charged me a $10 one time charge for a LATE FEE because the bill was due on September 13 and I didn't receive it until TODAY 09/29/26!!!!! I thought T-Mobile was a standup company, but this BILL proved me WRONG!!! When I called this morning to question it, the man said "I understand your frustration, but this is a legitimate charge and you owe for the month you didn't have service with us!!!!" TO BE HONEST, I WOULD'VE READ ZERO STARS, BUT THAT WASN'T AN OPTION!!! read more

Congrats to T-Mobile for marking this a customer service experience store. They are friendly snd most importantly patient. I came in with my parents and those who helped us were patient in answering some of their very basic questions (at some point, you can't hear it from a family member lol). Really appreciate the team. read more

I decided to visit the T-Mobile store/Trolley Square because my iPhone was due for an upgrade, and I left completely satisfied with the experience. Unlike many cell phone stores, the atmosphere here was calm, not frenetic. The representatives are highly knowledgeable and the pricing was fair. While I was there, I noticed another customer had some complicated issues. The staff was incredibly patient and kind with her - even hopping on a three-way call with her son to ensure all of the services were set up correctly. As for my upgrade, the entire process of selecting my new phone, accessories and transferring all of my data was completely seamless. Shout-out to Gabe, who did the lion's share of the work with professionalism! I highly recommend this location. read more

I recently went from an iphone to a Samsung Galaxy because I was always having problems. I bought the new Samsung at Walmart where the salesmen made an 4 hour attempt to set up the new phone. After returning to the store with no success, calling the TMobile Store in El Cajon, I was told to try the Santee store. I was treated with kindness, patience and best of all they were knowledgeable and ready to help. I would like to thank them, especially Kyle and Juan for all their help. It was especially welcome after the lack of service I received from others. read more

After an absolute clinic in poor customer service at ATT, coming to this store was a breath of fresh air. A younger lady helped me (I'm sorry I didn't get a name) and was extraordinarily easy to deal with. I canceled my ATT service and activated my phone with TMobile, but I needed to transfer my phone number. I came unprepared and had to wait for my wife to return with my old phone to get some information off of it. The employee was not annoyed and didn't even make me get back in line. Instead, she talked to me like a valued customer for the couple of minutes it took. Once we had all the devices needed, the transfer was done in less than ten minutes. She knew what she was doing on both iPhone and Samsung, and made the process so easy. I had additional questions about my plan and she answered them all and made it easy to understand. I've had multiple family members switch to TMobile and they had nothing but great things to say about this location as well. Ultimately, their service was better, plans were cheaper, and this is a much better customer experience. read more

The staff was very helpful with the trade-in phone that wouldn't power up. I was told that sometimes, when phones are sitting in storage for a while, then they're slow to power up. So, the attempt was made to power it up but it never turned on. So, the young man kindly sealed up my box for me, and even taped the shipping label on. Thanks so much for your help! read more

I've had a T-Mobile home Internet box for several years. I haven't used it for almost a year, then when I contacted T-Mobile to cancel the service and figure out how to get rid of this box, it took over an hour to deal with that. I also asked about maybe refunding some of my money since I haven't really used it, it was packed in a box and I forgot about it. Of course the agent never acknowledged the fact that I haven't really used it for almost a year. I'll never have anything to do with T-Mobile again and I don't recommend this business or any T-Mobile service. read more

Avoid this store at all costs. My wife and I followed their instructions, used the carrier app, and got a clear $900 trade‑in value. The moment we got to the counter, the employee tried to drop it to $600 and argued with us instead of explaining anything. On top of that, they couldn't answer basic questions about the new phone. We had to look everything up ourselves because the employee offered zero help and plenty of attitude. We left, drove to the El Cajon location, and--shock--they honored the full $900 instantly with no issues. This place wasted our time, gave us incorrect information, and acted like we wouldn't notice. Go literally anywhere else. The read more

T-Mobile in Santee is the best. They are quick, professional, communicative. James helped me a couple of months ago with some ear pods for me and my daughter, never tried to upsell me. Explained everything. It was time for my daughter to get a new phone and Marleen was so sweet and also didn't try to upsell me. I told her what I wanted with the accessories and she got it for me. James also helped with the transfer of the phone as it was really busy. My daughter is so happy, she has a pink phone with a pink case, so pretty. Thank you so much Marleen and James, what a wonderful team. This is the only location I will go to. read more

Had a great experience with Jessica when I came in needing help with a couple things. She was very quick and knew exactly how to help with everything I needed. Overall pleased with my experience because of her, great customer service thank you Jessica! read more

I'm not sure why this place isn't 4 stars plus... I came in around 6:30... And left before they closed with everything I needed, including adding another line me and getting another phone, changing one phone number to the new phone and getting a new number for my old phone. James helped me out and I felt like I was treated like an upmost priority. If I ever need anything, I will be coming to this store. read more

They are not good at customer service and avoided helping me with my issue in my changing carriers. Cody provided exceptional service during our visit to T-Mobile. Our transfer process was complicated because we use prepaid service, but he was more than happy to assist and never made us feel rushed or discouraged. The process took some time, yet Cody remained patient, professional, and genuinely kind throughout. He worked diligently to find a solution and made sure everything was handled correctly. We truly appreciated his dedication and positive attitude. Cody is a great example of excellent customer service. read more

I had to go into the T-Mobile store to sort out a somewhat complicated issue with my mother-in-law's cell phone service. I typically avoid cell phone stores like I do car dealerships and the dentist! So, I was not looking forward to this. I checked in with the gentleman at the door and when I gave him a brief description of the reason for the visit, he said he was going to talk to the store manager and try to get me to the front of the line. There were at least two other parties ahead of me. After about five minutes, my name was called and I met with Mary. I believe she was the manager. She listened and quickly understood the issue and went right to work solving it. She was friendly, understanding, and professional. She took care of the initial problem and even helped with a couple of related lessor issues (downloading the T-Mobile app on my mother-in-law's phone, for example). I am not a T-Mobile customer myself, but if this is the kind of customer service I can expect locally, then I may give them some serious consideration in the future. Kudos to Mary and the Santee store! read more

I've been to this store twice in recent weeks. Both were good experiences. first, it seems like there's always a wait since there are more customers than employees, but they do have several employees. First visit was to get a purchase receipt for my 6-tear-old phone. corporate T-Mobile actually referred me to my local store for this. and while it wasn't easy, they came through. Second visit was to apply protective screens to my two new iPhones. I picked these phones up at T-Mobile's 5454 Grossmont Center Dr. store in La Mesa. Service there was horrible. They would not help transfer data from old phones to new phones nor apply protective screens. So I went to the Santee T-Mobile. There, I received all the assistance I asked for. Special shout out to Ray. others were helpful during my two visits, but I neglected to get their names. Bottom line: Santee T-Mobile GREAT. La Mesa T-Mobile HORRIBLE. read more

Ask for James Malone. Dropped him a good review on google. James was sincere, genuine and offered the best customer service.

Went to get a phone for my dad that lives in Mexico 24/7. About a year ago I went to the T-Mobile store off mission gorge road and got helped out by a representative(can't think of their name) I explained to them that I need to get my dad a phone because this is the only way we can communicate due to not being able to see him for months at a time. Sometimes a year. This representative told me that it shouldn't be a problem to get him a phone which I then explained again that he lives in Mexico 24/7 and I want to make sure that this is something they can do. They then said that it's not an issue. So I got the phone. Tell me why 2 months later down the line my dad suddenly stops getting data on his phone. Only calls and texts. No images no gps no internet. Nothing. I called customer care at 611 and they couldn't figure it out. So finally after calling and talking to a couple different support members they mention that the reason they canceled the data and internet was because it's against their policy for customers to have the phones in Mexico for more than (X) amount of days. So I raised my concern to the customer help person and they told me that it's unfortunate but that's just their policy. Now due to not being able to get the phone so easily from my dad because of certain reasons I finally get the phone in possession. I finally have time to go to the T-Mobile store. Once there I walk in and am greeted by Juan. Apparently he's the manager there. He was going in lunch. No big deal. I waited for him to come back. At first he was very professional and listened to me. I voiced my concerns to him about said representative that sold me the phone and he takes him to the back. Once being in the back for a while manager Juan comes back out and basically starts telling me that there is no way his employee promised me that because apparently quote on quote " that's the first thing he trains his employees on. If as soon as a new customer mentions that the phone is permanently internationally used they automatically say they can not help us" so why is it that when I mentioned that this phone was to be used 24/7 in Mexico was I not told about this. The manager goes to the back and said representative comes up to me very defensive saying "why do you have my name in your mouth talking to my manager about me lying that I told you false information" Maybe because you did. I was very straight forward with the manager that if I would have known that if they would have told me that they couldn't do what I needed I would have kept my service with them and found a different alternative because I have been with T-Mobile for almost 13 years. it's not like I was unhappy with the phone plan. I was unhappy with the way I was treated and lied to by this employee. Then all of a sudden I have the manager, the employee that I was making a complaint about and another employee In front of me. I don't know if this was a tactic or whatever. But I'm sure it's all on camera. Customers around and all. I went in trying to make a complaint and basically got told too bad because I asked the manager " are tot able to help me out with this issue today or not" he legit said " this is something you're gonna have to figure out yourself" I asked for the district managers information and he said no. He said I needed to give him my phone email and information and only after he provided his side of the story to the district manager then they will contact me. 13 years of service with T-Mobile and 1 employee is all it took. 3 against myself? Seems pretty hostile to me not gonna lie. read more

I canceled my Internet lines but I can't return the equipment until the billing period end. What kind of asinine policy is that? We stopped in to have a phone return since we had purchased new ones by Tmobile online. The staff couldn't have been more professional. We were greeted professionally and that a rep would be with us shortly. Our rep, Jose knew exactly what to do. We talked the entire time which was very pleasant because it made us feel comfortable and able to ask questions. Everything was completed in no time and he was sweet enough to look at pictures of my cat. What a great experience...I wish we had purchased the phones at this site. Care and compassion, service with a smile. Thanks, Jose...and Mary who greeted us. Thank you. read more

I came into the store with the intention of adding a line and buying a device. As I was going through questions with the associate, he was looking in every other direction, taking questions and comments from other associates for people "looking to buy", and didn't seem very interested in helping me other than pointing me to my app over and over again. I know I can probably figure out ordering and purchasing items online, but I was looking for the experience of buying a Christmas present at the store. The associate did answer my questions, but he didn't seem interested. I hope the store can focus more on customer experience. read more

Out of all the T-Mobile stores in east county, this one is my favorite. The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly. Only downside is there's always a wait. I wish they would have one employee available for quick customer needs like a screen protector change, make payments or buy accessories. I always seem to go there for something quick and have to wait awhile while people are purchasing new phones which can take quite a long time. It's still my favorite store because none of the locations seem to have an employee available for quick needs. read more

I purchased a new phone on T-Mobile's website, received the phone and the at home eSim transfer process did not work properly. T-Mobile online support could not help so I had to head over to the T-Mobile store in Santee. I arrived there just after opening and I was the third person in line. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. I had to wait about 12 minutes for a sales rep to assist me. While waiting, I noticed the store was super clean, each sales rep was polite and personable. My experience with the sales rep was equally polite and helpful. Problem was solved quickly. read more

T-mobile service claims 5G speeds except where their towers don't work in Santee, CA, a suburb of San Diego. On my brand new iPhone 13 Pro, a $1200 phone for 5G, I get 16 Mbps download and 0.45 Mbps upload speeds on the T-Mobile 5G network, which sucks. T-mobile tech support verified their towers are being upgraded in Santee but have no expected date of completion. In consolation, they offered me a $13 one time credit on my two line account to compensate me for many months of crappy service. Whoopee!!! read more

Came into TMobile Santee store today with my 96 year old mom and had the wonderful pleasure to work with Cody, one of the amazing phone experts. We had just purchased mom a new phone a few days before, and she just couldn't figure it out. We decided to return the phone and get another that she was familiar with.
