We decided to go to another AT&T in Killeen on Central Texas Expy to try and resolve my dad's issue and within a few minutes, they realized that the phone itself was defective and promptly sent it off for replacement per his warranty (it was only 2 months old). So, if you have a faulty phone in need of repair or replacement, this particular location on Stan Schlueter is not the place for you. They will just tell you to call a 1-800 number.. smh. (#1)

What a cool 'hidden find' in the Leander area!…read more It's a bit of a misnomer to call this a 'flea market', but that's a minor point to quibble over. Rather, this is a collection of rather eclectic shops selling mostly used or refurbished items. These range from vintage glass and antique furniture all the way to collectible baseball cards. Everyone I spoke to at one of the stores was friendly and sometimes willing to negotiate a price on an item. I look askance at some of the reviews which claim 'I didn't get a deal'. You have access to the internet, after all. Even on your smart phone. You should be able to find out if the vintage item you're looking for hasn't been cheaply reproduced at Hobby Lobby, Cost Plus or Michael's. The facility still seems to be in development, so a couple notes for folks who may visit close to when I did, in September 2017. 1) The parking lot is a very rough gravel one. Drive slowly and walk carefully, there are ankle-turning rocks here if you wear heels. 2) One of the vendors was having serious issues taking credit cards, so having cash on hand might be a good idea. 3) If you check in on Yelp, there's a free drink offer available at the food trailer. However, there's no food trailer yet - just a well-run inside snack bar. They were kind enough to honor the offer for me, but do them a favor and wait until they get a vendor in before trying to use the coupon. In sum, a definite place to visit if the antique hunting bug strikes!

I have the T-Mobile 5G home internet. I installed their router and service in January of 2024. It is now September 25th 2024 and they have been offline maybe 2 minutes in the past 9 months. I receive a fantastic upload and download speeds, capable of powering 3 TV's streaming, and 3 computers surfing. The $50.00 price tag is also nice. I mounted the router in my attic and here is a screenshot of the speed below. read more

The only positive was when I called for service, the rep who answered the phone was very nice and got me scheduled quickly.

When ATT offers you a "rebate" for your existing phone they don't credit you that amount, they spread it out of 36 payments. You are paying for the phone and then using that credit to pay off the interest? So after paying 300 and getting my credit, I owed $0 but it still increased my monthly payment by over 100/month. The $1000 phone is now $3600 over 3 years? Seriously? I brought it right back. Did I get a refund? No. When my existing line was added to the new phone, the phone was "blacklisted" so they will not refund it until it was "de-blacklisted" - in violation of the Texas law. I didn't transfer the line, they did and they should have known. Finally they sold me two sim cards and neither works. As an IT contractor I HAD literally 100's of 2FA codes that were lost in all this back and forth. I will literally waste weeks of billable time to straighten this mess out. Complete incompetence.

Joe came on site for delivery and discovered the challenge. We tried to come up with creative solutions, but unfortunately, we just couldn't get around this corner in my yard without fence removal. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these folks, but learn from my mistake and do your due diligence in making sure the entire path from street to intended position are wide enough. I didn't have the experience to know better and it cost me a $200 trip charge with nothing to show for it. Sure do wish I had been able to afford the $500 extra dollars to have it built onsite, but it just wasn't in my budget.
