I went in to buy a iPhone, I don't know which but I was paying cash. I have been a customer for over 15 years. I was told I could not touch the phone to see which one I wanted. Well I can order off internet then. HH store said I could come in and could check the phones to see which fit me best ! I went into store on 10/21/2020 at around 1 pm as I walked in store to the iPhone section to compare iPhones as I intended to purchase one! I was barked at that I wasn't allowed to touch phones! If I couldn't look at the phones I won't buy it! I went to copperas Cove were I was greeted and allowed to pickup phones to decide which one I wanted! I bought from them! This store is rude and I won't go there for anything! I tried to call and talk to manager but he was unavailable- asked for assist manager and he was unavailable. I went into the store to buy a new phone. The store Employee name Taine who helped me was very RUDE. She tried to sell me a phone I didn't want. After telling her what phone I wanted she went in the back and brought it to let me look at it. I told her I would take it and that I would pay for the phone in full. She proceeded to tell me in a very unprofessional manner that I could not do that. After trying to explain to her that is not what the website says. After her looking into it she said I could buy it outright. I also told her my father was looking to upgrade his phone and I told her he wanted something simple and easy for him to use. She wanted him to get a iPhone that would have been to hitech for him. This Employee needs to be retrained for the job she was hired for and on how to talk to customers. Today I went to the AT&T because my phone hasn't been working all day. There is a man standing in the door way as I am walking in. He says do you have any questions? I said "well yes my phone isn't working. When I make a call the speaker, facetime and add a call circles are blurred out and I can't hear anyone but they can hear me." He says "oook okay, do you have insurance? When did you purchase the phone?" I said "maybe almost 2 years ago, and yes I do have insurance." He says "well you'll have to call or file a claim online since your manufacturer's warranty isn't an option." I said "okay well is there anyone here that can help me, or at least check my phone for other issues?" He said "no we don't have techs." I said "is this something you just started because the last time I was here someone ran some tests on my phone and checked it." He said "No, and we've seen this issue before, its a software issue and we can't help you here." I said "I'm just really confused on how I am not even in the store, I cant speak to anyone, no one can help me and the only option is to buy a new phone and its a software issue?" He said "no you won't have to buy a new phone you'll use your insurance." I said "I have to pay a deductible that's buying a new phone." He just looked at me and I walked away. How is that you come into a store and no one can help you? He never even touched my phone. How would he know for sure it was a software issue? Annnndd if it is a software issue why do I as the customer have to pay for that? I am beyond disappointed with the lack of customer service. As a member of AT&T or over ten years I am just appalled and will be looking for a new provider today. read more

I am on a family plan. My mother is actually Lee. Sheldon knew everything about my problem and was quick finding solutions and recommendations. He actually listens and has great customer service. He has great rapport and product knowledge. He was helpful and professional. He remembers our family and I would recommend him to all my friends. It is hard to find loyal workers like Sheldon. My husband had me move our mobile phone service to AT&T while he was deployed. When I created the account, I thought all was well. The staff was friendly, and seemed informative...and it appeared as though we had gotten everything we were looking for. I made a point to ask about the discount they offer members of the military, and they claimed it wouldn't be a problem. All we would have to do is confirm his AKO e-mail account and we would receive our discount. HOWEVER....it has come to my attention that it was all lies. We did not get our military discount. I called and asked, and was then informed that we would have to wait until my husband returned from Iraq and went in to a store to get it....when we finally were able to do so he signed the form and we thought all was well...until we got our bill. Apparently, they are charging what they call a "sponsorship fee" to enroll us in the military discount program...a $36 fee....PER LINE. I Googled this fee, which had no explanation on our bill and found that they also restarted our contract. These are important things that they really should have told us at the time. If I had any clue that they were charging us to enter this program or that they were going to restart our contract....I would NOT have gone through with it. Maybe I expect more from a company because my parents have their own business...but as far as I am concerned AT&T has FAILED. As soon as I find a way out of this contract, I'm out...and taking my business elsewhere. read more

Worse experience ever. My husband & I both got new phones and as we were paying I was told that we were entitled to $50 worth of free accessories. We told them that we did not really want anything but they insisted. Did not think much of it but when we got home I went online and noticed a $50 rebate offered on one of the phones. I looked at my receipt and it showed a $60 credit and that the credit was used for the accessories that we did not even want. Very sneaky and dishonest. I went in to upgrade my phone here while my husband was deployed & it shouldn't have been a problem since I'm on the account & I had a POA as well...the manager was incredibly rude & told it was against the law to upgrade my phone...um I called the 1-800 number & spoke to the nicest lady & she laughed when she heard it! She notated my account & told me to go to another store & if I have any more problems to have them call her manager...Needless to say I didn't go back to this store I went to Waco & was in & out of there within 20 minutes. read more
