Walk-in and asked for a SIM card on July 24 @ 4:30pm, guy knew they were out of stock but still ask for personal information. Store looks clean and well stock but employees new training on how to deal with customers. It also seems as if they did not want to sell just the SIM cards. They only have SIM cards for new customers. Please avoid this store, you can visit the corporate store on 17th st in Costa Mesa. There was another employee sitting down using his cellphone, not profesional in my opinion. Will not be coming back. read more

TERRIBLE waste of time. Not sure if this is a store-specific thing, or a TMobile thing, but today was my 2nd trip into this store trying to port a number and add a line and literally every piece of information I was given (from what was needed to access the account, to the plan itself, to the pricing for the plan, to the activation fees) was all 100% incorrect across multiple employees (800 number AND in-store employees). TMobile's customer service number also can't seem to fix mistakes in a timely manner. And the so-called manager has 0 authority to adjust anything per customer service? Not surprised by their 2-and-a-half star yelp reviews. Will not be back to this store and will gladly pay the extra $ at this point to stay with AT&T. Not worth the headache and hassle to switch over, especially if this is how customers are treated. read more

I came into T-Mobile to finish my switch from MetroPCS. We ran into some technical difficulties getting the phone to work on the network. However, Joshua stuck with it and insisted on finding a solution. After researching and coordinating with Customer Service, we were able to resolve all of my issues. Horrible Customer Service at this T-Mobile. If you want great customer service go to the T-Mobile on 17th st. in Newport. I walked into the this T-Mobile on Harbor and Wilson and stood there for about 5 minutes with no acknowledgment. I wasn't sure if you needed to wait in line or what so I walked to the back where three employees were sitting and asked them if I was supposed to wait in line and they said yes. I went back in line and waited for about 10 minutes with no acknowledgment. By then 3 more customers had arrived with still no acknowledgement. One of the customers cussed under his breath and walked out. By now about 15 minutes had passed. I walked up to Conner who was helping some customers and asked how long the wait would be because no one waiting had a heard a word or received even a glance letting us know how long the wait would be. Apparently, my 5'3" body was too much for big bad Conner because he was not happy. He looked at me and said it would be a solid 20 to 30 minutes. It was then I got upset and asked why no one had acknoweged the customers who were waiting. My voice was raised but sorry I also had on a mask. Then the customer turned to me and started yelling at me for being upset with him. It was crazy. I walked back to the manager and told him no of us were receiving any customer service. His name is Gus and the other employee with him was Luis. Apparently they were interviewing and told me to go away. By then I was not happy. Sweet boy Conner threatened to call security. It was quite the comedy show. After that I made a complaint with T-Mobile regarding the service of Conner, Gus and Luis who all three refused to help me or acknowledge that we may be waiting a while. I'm not sure in what reality that is acceptable. I have to give customer service at my job and that is exactly what I do. This is the absolute worst store I've ever been to. When I drove up the street to the T-MObile in Newport, 5 employees said hello as I entered and offered assistance. I wish I would have gotten their names. They were amazing. I hope Gus, Conner and Luis realize how rude and insulting they are. Hopefully they will get a call from T-Mobile customer service but I will definiltey follow up with them. Thankfully, I got to deal directly with the manager, Joshua. Joshua displayed both expert knowledge and fantastic customer service, and offered my a real solution and resolution to my phone problems that definitely made me happy. I have being with t mobile for about 3 years , I have always had the best possible service you can expect, on June I decided to give my wife a new phone , got for her a Samsung hedge 8 , I dealt with Josh and it was very pleasent engaging and nice to deal with. During my visit he kept helping other people as well and he forgot to set up few apps and opening some of the existing features on the phone, before ending my visit I ASKED SPECIFICALLY FOR INSURANCE AND HE ASSURED ME THAT HE ENROLLED MY PHONE. Overall was a positive experience, till last Wednesday, my wife dropped her phone and I discovered that JOSH NEVER ENROLLED MY PHONE ON THE INSURANCE. I think t mobile still the best company around, JUST BE CAREFUL WITH JOSH Sales rep# 1312652 I am out of pocket $400.00 dollars because of him. read more

Just left this location. VERY disappointed with the lack of service. There were 4 employees at the counter and two customers in store. My boyfriend and I came in with hopes to trade up our iPhone 6 to the new iPhone 8. We had switched over our service from ATT to T-mobile within the year and haven't had much to complain about thus far. We waited patiently in store for 15 whole minutes and were not even acknowledged once. This is absolutely appalling! I have been managing retail for the last 12 years and I understand how a busy retail environment should run. There is no excuse for lack of acknowledgement, EVER. Thanks to Joshua my mom left the store very happy! We stopped by to return a phone my sister had just bought for my her. He was super helpful and also made the trip worth it. I do have to say though that the other employees are not really attentive or helpful to their customers. We had another employee help us and basically told us we had to pay $50 to return it. AVOID THIS T-MOBILE LOCATION: What I experienced there was down right appalling. I waited in line for about 15 min before someone acknowledged me. That, I was okay with, but not okay with how I was treated once I was approached by a floor associate. I am a corporate recruiter for client services, and I am mortified that T-MOBILE would hire such unprofessional people. The girl who approached me was SABRINA. She was aggressive right away. She said, what do you need? I said I was here to connect my new apple watch and a pair of air pods. She then said, give me your phone. I said, don't you need the apple watch and air pods, and she then said rolling her eyes, "you do want them connected right?" I said yes, I just wasn't sure exactly what you needed. She then said in an aggressive manner, you know what here is your phone back, I can see you are having a bad day, come back when you are in a better mood. She then walked away and I said wait, I am so confused, where is your manager? She pointed at some girl behind the counter and preceded to walk in the break room. The manager seemed unfazed by this behavior as if it was an everyday occurrence. I said to her, are you the manager, she said yes. I said did you just see what just happened? I am in shock, because I did not say or do anything to warrant that behavior. In fact I was courteous and agreeable to her request. How she took one sentence that I said and reacted that way was unbelievable. I've worked in client services for 25 years and I could not imagine myself or anyone speaking to a customer that way. The manager Gizel just said I'm sorry for that and gave me the associates name for me to send in a formal complaint. It was almost like everyone there was scared of this Associate Sabrina. Almost like she runs the store. It was bazar. I almost thought I was on candid camera. It was that unbelievable. Then the manager said, I will help you. She too wasn't professional and handled the situation so inappropriately. I should've walked out at that point. But I didn't. I let her connect my devices and continued to pay the activation fee for my apple watch. When I left I was pretty upset. I did some research and realized this location is not a corporate store and managed by SKYE WIRELESS, LLC. I'm not sure they are aware they have such employees working there. They need to take a closer look at who they hire. I decided the next day to switch to AT&T. It was worth every penny to switch over, so that I never have to experience such unprofessionalism. SHAME ON YOU SKYE WIRELESS, LLC. - T-MOBILE. I do want to note, that I called T-Mobile to make a formal complaint. Apparently this store has several complaints and issues. I was planning to travel out of the country so stopped in to verify that my phone would work overseas. Loud annoying music playing, no customers, 3 reps involved in a discussion but one broke away to help me. Said yes, my phone would work but I should add international calling feature for free calling, at $15/mo = $30 for my 2 lines. Said I could cancel it when I returned, so only have to pay for 1 mo. OK, did that, but checking online later found that the international calling feature only covered calls originating in the US, so not what I needed at all. I was able to cancel by calling Tmobile customer service, but if I hadn't checked I would have wasted $30. No wonder this branch is behind on their sales goals (subject of the discussion they were having when I arrived). read more

I was around the area a couple days ago and I saw this T-Mobile so I went in hoping to get information on possibly changing my iPhone 7 into the new iPhone 11, but with a good monthly plan. As soon as I came in the door I was greeted very kindly and was helped immediately. One of the workers there named Ivan really helped set everything up and come up with the best monthly plan possible. I left really happy with my new phone and plan. Everyone working there was really professional, with that said I would highly recommend this location and I'll make sure to let my friends know to come here for the great service and deals. read more

I just switched from Verizon back to T mobile because their plan cost $20 less per month. I dealt with the wonderful Josh retail store manager. I was very upset because when I purchased my iPhone XR and opened a new line of service they upsold me and got me to buy AirPods, HD screen protector, and phone case. The phone case and screen protector could've easily been purchased on Amazon. I told the sales guy that. He kept pushing me which is his job to push products. I didn't enroll in the 360 insurance through T mobile. Then my screen protector got a bubble on it. I am a Nurse I can afford every new iPhone they put out I can outright buy any screen protector HD or not. I can pay cash for any AirPods but that is not the point. I chose to opt out of the 360 insurance for the HD screen protector because I bought Apple Care which for those Apple users they know replaces ur phone easily without the hassle of Asurion insurance. I've done my research. I take great care of my phones I figured this pure gear brand was solid boy was I wrong. Anyway Josh you are very rude. I've worked in retail and the manager should always keep his composure no matter how rude the customer is. I am a nurse and believe me I've had rude people and I am fine, I keep my composure. I won't be returning to this store because you didn't help me when you could've been more accommodating. Sure you don't have to be nice but that is the job of a place selling phones and products to customers. You also blatantly respond by saying you did help me register my HD screen protector and sign up for warranty when I believe that is what a T-Mobile store associate is supposed to do. Help the customer who doesn't know how to operate the warranty website of a product your associate installed on my phone. I'll tell all my coworkers how Josh will treat you when you enter his store. I honestly can't imagine why you would want to go anywhere else when you could receive the kind of help and service that I received in a recent visit to this T-Mobile store. I've been with AT&T for over 2 decades, and after a recent incident where a customer service rep hung up on me, I decided enough was enough and made a change. I ordered phones from T-Mobile that were delivered to my home. I went to set them up and found I was dealing with some new technology. The last time I set up phones, there were physical SIM cards, etc. That is no longer the case. So, I drove to a T-Mobile store and was told that it was not a corporate store, and could not help me port my numbers, etc. The gentleman in the store told me how to locate the nearest corporate store, and I went to that location. At this store, I was quickly approached by a friendly employee who told me that someone would be with me shortly. Within minutes, I was escorted to the counter and introduced to Luis, the assistant manager. I cannot say enough good things about my experience from this point forward. Luis spent the next two hours setting up my bag of telephones, including helping me port my numbers from AT&T. Luis was not only incredibly professional, polite, and friendly, but in my 40 years of using mobile phones, he was probably one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met when it came to explaining and understanding my Apple iPhones. When I think back to some of the dealings I've had with other phone companies and I have used many of them over the years, they don't even begin to come close to the service and support I received upon my visit to this T-Mobile location. In a world where we do have many choices as consumers, I feel I have made the best choice possible. Not to mention the fact that T Mobile's prices were far less than what I was paying, and I will be receiving the same benefits, along with the added benefit of dealing with such a wonderful employee of their company. With no pressure, Luis also asked me about other services that I had in my home, such as Internet. He shared what they could offer and explained I may want to look at what I am receiving to see if in fact, they could offer more for less. As it turns out, they can. I will be returning to the store to set that up in the next few days. In summary, if you are looking to change your phone company, after doing my research, I would say, without question, T-Mobile is the place to go. And if you want a store where you will receive outstanding customer service and expertise in what they do, this is the T-Mobile store to come to. And if you're lucky enough to speak with Luis, I can't imagine that you won't go home feeling like you just had one of the best mobile phone industry experiences you've ever had. read more

Everyone at this location is a complete idiot EXCEPT for Rene who helped me purchase my new phone. My new phone is not working correctly so I go back to exchange it. No one could figure out how to help me. Jessica was completely clueless as to how to do this. The store manager obviously did not care and would not help. I can't recall the last time I had such great attentive customer service. This location is under new management,the crew is very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable of services and products. I came in because I had accidently dropped my phone in water and was absolutely devastated. I called the store and spoke with one of the employees who was very patient and eager to help. He said to come in and he would take care of the situation for me and would find a way to retrieve my contacts. I came in and was greeted immediately, even though several people were in before me I was acknowledged and assisted almost immediately. JC and Josh were super sweet and took almost 2 hours to try and retrieve my contacts. While I was waiting they asked what songs I wanted to hear and played some music for me haha which I thought was super sweet. After 2 hours of trying they did finally retrieve my contacts which I was super thankful for, these guys really went above and beyond. Everyone here was super professional, friendly, attentive and went out of their way for the customers. Definitely will be coming back. Thanks again JC and Josh you guys are the best!! :) read more
