Came into this location to trade in my old phone and went here because it was closest to my house. The wait was long but they were busy. When it was my turn someone came over to help me. The sales guy started taking my info. Then he randomly asked me , "hey how old are u?" I'm like why do u need to know? Thought that was a weird question. He then proceeded to say "well we have these programs for people of certain age" I was completely floored and offended - I'm like, " are u insinuating that I'm old enough for a senior discount?! Didn't ur mom teach you not to ask a woman's age?!" He then told me that he saw the year I was born on my ID and didn't math right. I'm in my early 40's WTH?! He then walked to another table and gave me his back and then said, "Well do u want a phone or what?!" I told him I'd rather someone else help me. The manager was near him and didn't say a word. He was helping another customer but after about 10 more minutes of waiting I just walked out. Drove to the HB location way out of my way, off of beach and tablert and had amazing service! No issues, no ages questions, no BS. Forgot the guy who helped but he was super nice and helpful and I was out the door in 10 minutes. Don't go to the Costa Mesa on harbor. I stopped by this morning to pick up a free baseball hat that is today's T-Mobile Tuesday perk. Both employees working were already with customers so I patiently waited. One of them, a heavy set gentleman, said he will be with me after helping his customer. I said no problem I'm just here for the hat. Then I asked if I can select which one I wanted (there are 4 fun phrases). He said no it's not allowed, even though it does not state this on the reward (see photo). Nevertheless I didn't argue, but followed up with another question to ask if I can take a photo of the hats (curious to see the different phrases), which were displayed on a cart. This time he pretended not to hear me so I got closer to make sure he heard my question. Again, he said no. His reasons are (1) they aren't supposed to let customers pick and (2) the hats are supposed to be in the back. I felt our whole interaction was weird and his tone was unnecessarily curt. Keep in mind I courteously ask first when I could have just walked over to where the hats were sitting and take a quick photo. Hot take: if the hats are not supposed to be visible then why prominently display them on a cart in the far right corner of the store clearly noticeable to anyone who walks in. It's a free hat offer, not that serious, so why act rude? For additional context, the store wasn't busy and I was the only other customer waiting which I was doing. I didn't barge in demanding attention away from another customer, nor did I expect the hat immediately be given to me. There was zero excuse for his dismissive attitude and behavior. Conversely, more positive interactions were experienced at other local T-Mobile stores. read more

I came in on a Thursday to purchase an iPhone and Jesus confirmed I was an authorized user on my dad's account. I was able to complete the purchase without issue. Later that night around 8:30pm Jesus called me saying the phone wasn't rung up correctly. He called me a couple of times and on the second call when I answered he didn't even say "hello" just got straight to talking. I don't know why he felt so comfortable as I'm a customer, not someone he knows. I was asked to provide the IMEI and my service was temporarily turned off to fix the issue. During this back & forth interaction, his last call to me was a FaceTime call, which I thought was weird and unprofessional especially with it being after hours. I answered the call with audio only. Regardless I did him the favor to provide whatever information he needed. During the call, I mentioned I wanted to exchange the phone, and I was told it would not be a problem to come back the next day. When I returned, Eddie I told me I was not an authorized user and that he couldn't help me. I was told my dad would need to call 611 and wait 1-2 hours, and that the system was down. His energy was standoffish from the beginning and he was dismissive. It's obvious he hates his job. Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and unprofessional. Every time I come in it's one problem after another we were just here on Monday and my mom was approved for a trade in, we didn't get it because they were sold out of the iPhone 17 pro we were going to go to the Apple Store but decided she would just order the phone and when we walked in to explain we were given dirty looks and a attitude by a rude woman who was not helpful and definitely had a horrible attitude about her trade in. Same girl did the same thing a few months ago when we stopped by to ask a question. Only thing I will say good about this location is the manager is really nice and did try to help us the first time we were here on Monday he wasn't here today. I just think you could be nicer when working customer service we understand that the trade in needs manager approval but it could have been handled differently and not with the eye rolls. read more

I went there because my iPhone 13 + was damaged. I have ad adequate insurance, but they told me I had to pay $100. I gave it to the lady at T-Mobile and she said that my phone would be coming in the mail.. I waited a week. The phone never came. I called T-Mobile. They said you cannot pay the shop you would pay through T-Mobile. I couldn't find my receipt and nothing's been done about it. This was about a month and a half ago. My phone is so badly damaged that I can't take my photo to get into apps. I don't want to pay another hundred dollars so nothing been done. 12/3/2025 my experience with t mobile has been a pleasant experience, this specific location tends to get busy.The store is on the smaller end but the sells associates are on the more sluggish end there are 3 sales associates on the floor only and they try there best to assist everyone, I'm coming in and another gentlemen in front of me are here just to make a payment the sales associate took my name down and told me it's a 45 min wait ? ! Like wait a minute how is this 45 min wait, I use to work in sales and specifically in phones I know that while I'm waiting or have the customer waiting your supposed to use your time efficiently to reduce the foot traffic in the store which would make the experience that much better this location or management needs to do a better job on efficiently meeting the customers needs. read more

I came here after a horrendous experience at the Tustin location and explained my issue and the same thing I was dismissed and talked down to about at the Tustin location was resolved in a matter of minutes and expertly by the staff of Michael and Marisa! I cannot say enough nice things about them, we have dealt with Marisa in the past, and she if referred to as the nice girl between my partner and I as she was the one who first helped me switch our accounts. Kindness goes so far for me, and both of them were indeed very kind, and really saved the day that had been soured by the other store. I will not go to another store again after today! read more

Today could have been a burning hellscape of frayed nerves and annoying tech support tom-foolery, but no. It actually turned into one of the best in person customer support experiences I've ever had. And it was in a cell provider store! My father-in-law had an old phone that was giving up it's low gig ghost so we went to this T-Mobile location (based on the reviews on Yelp) to find him a new one, adjust my account, and make sure everything about my account was clear and dialed in. Michael (store manager) and Phil (the manager that helped us) made sure to not only listen patiently as I explained some issues I had and answer many questions, but also made very helpful observations and suggestions to get our old phone situation taken care of. There was also an intial contact person whose name escapes me but he was great too! We went over phones, plans, billing, heavy metal music, watches, etc. Phil went above and beyond to ensure that data was properly transferred and that my father-in-law was ready to hit the ground running with his new phone. I definitely will be back to this location since they really seem to care about their customers and have superior knowledge of their products and account options. read more

I understand why this location has 5 stars. I went to two Verizon and two other T-Mobile locations in the last week to switch over to a new business account and get Internet and phone for my office and my home and honestly the first few stores I went to didn't seem very interested in helping me. When I walked into this location, I met Phil. Not only did he take great care of me from start to finish, but he made the set up so easy and save me a ton of money from what I was paying before. He makes the process so smooth because he's been doing it for a long time and pays attention to the critical details. I highly recommend this location and in particular, working Phil. I have been in THIS T-store many times for service and each and every one of their reps gave me good service with a very helpful attitude. The latest rep I had was Mansa who at first could not believe my story but once she wrapped her head around my problem she got some guidance from the store manager and went to work on solving my unusual problem. YAY...Thank you Mansa! PS. When I went to look them up to write a review I saw many other T stores with low reviews and bad remarks on attitude toward customer service. Disclaimer, at times, this store can be busy, so, call ahead to ensure wait times meet your standards? 3rd time upgrading the families phones(3 lines), and asking for a more affordable plan option? Come to find out, an ownership change to my spouse was the most affordable option....(thank you for your service). I was first approached by a triage person to take my information and my reason for my visit which was quick as always. As soon as Joe(sorry, didn't catch his name) finished up, he let me know that there were a few people ahead of me and it would be a bit. A bit ended up being 10 minutes when he came back and started taking more information. As soon as he did, Christian O. was available and began assisting my family. It was approx. 11 AM. We broke down to Christian that we wanted to see our options to upgrade, however before that, wanted to see our plan options as I was on an old Sprint plan, that was not affordable. In the end, as I said before, we needed to do an ownership change, which he patiently mediated. His friendly demeanor made the experience seem a lot shorter than the 3 hours we were there. As other customers became impatient, the team in the store began assisting more than one person at a time. We've noticed this before, Michael, the store manager(who has helped us before) had the store clear of wait times by 2 PM, around the time we left. All in all, if you expect to be treated with respect and kindness, come here. If you like rude customer service, go elsewhere.... If we were allowed to tip, we would have.... This evening Connie helped myself and my husband get new phones and add a line to our account and she was so incredibly helpful! She made a long call to customer service on our behalf when the payment my husband had previously made to pay off his phone did not show in our account and spent a long time helping us choose the best options for us and was wonderful without putting any pressure on us to buy any accessories we did not want or add anything to our plan that we did not need. She simply suggested things she felt would be helpful and let us make the decision, so great! We really appreciates Connie's help this evening and couldn't recommend making an appt at the store ( as we did ) to save time. SUPER HELPFUL STAFF!!! Funny thing, I have a flip phone (yes, I'm serious) and I needed to get a new SIM card as I was a Sprint customer now merging with T-Mobile. I went into this location on Christmas Eve and was greeted by Liz and Michael. Liz ended up helping me and was able to quickly get a new SIM card into my old flip phone, made sure the phone worked, and sent me on my way. I had the pleasure of chatting and joking with Marisa during this process. :) Unfortunately, the SIM card was not compatible with my older Sprint flip phone, so I ventured back into this location today! Liz and Marisa were there to help me again!!! Liz provided all the information I needed and informed me on "why" these things were happening and what she could do to help me. SHE DELIVERED! I felt like I sent her running all over the store and in the back, etc. Luckily, Marisa and I got to joke around and chat again today too, but she was SUPER busy helping everyone as well.
