Spectrum - Anthony was great!

Spectrum

Just popped by here to drop off a modem and router from a rental house but then asked Oscar, who…read morewas waiting on me, if they had any deals on internet since that's all I use from Spectrum. I'm paying $91 a month for 1GB and Oscar said that was pretty expensive. He asked me if he could bundle a streaming service to lower it to $66.35 a month and then said I could cancel the TV after a month and then the internet cost would drop to $41 a month. Quite a savings and I appreciate Oscar pointing this out. I went with that deal and thanks again for the great service and price cut, Oscar!

When you read my reviews you get the full story where it began how it morphed over the years and…read moreended with the new entity that became the greedy Spectrum cable. Paragon Cable was a major US cable television provider in the 1980s and 1990s, notably operating in areas like Portland, Oregon, and Texas, and of course in SoCal too before being acquired by Time Warner Cable, TW finalized the deal for all its assets by 1999. Yes I have been a loyal customer since I moved to SoCal. Times Warner was amazing, Yelp didn't exist then or I would have rated TW 6 stars. I'm glad I never allowed autopay or they would have double charged like they did to a few reviewers above. Every month they jacked up the bill to now over $250 a month. They super charged people when they decided to bundle 500 channels, who needs 500, I worked 2 jobs I feel lucky if I made the time to watch the news every night plus just 1 news show Foxnews, imagine that they feel comfortable ripping off people n completely disregard customer loyalty. TMobile offered me a ridiculously cheap package but my husband is against changing bc we are dealing w his cancer which drained me of all energy so we just put up w the price gouging. We agreed a year ago to the streaming service called Xumo so I got a discount initially during the introduction of this new service, well I can tell you the stress I went through, it crashed for no reason time and time again leaving us w zero service but it gave us free Netflix which caters to the woke crowd, I escaped communism n I have no use for movies bashing freedom n promoting socialism, their radical agenda. Xumo has been decent lately but what is not acceptable is their jacking up the price. So no I don't recommend this company unless you have relatives in Mexico and Canada where all calls are unlimited n free in their bundled price. So indirectly we are supporting illegal immigration and paying through our nose for all the folks calling Mexico and Canada.
