I have had only awesome experiences here. I moved back to Costa Mesa from Silicon Valley about 18 months ago, and no sooner was I down here than I had an issue with my MacBook Air. I thought, "OMG, I'm here in Orange County - not exactly known for its tech community. What am I gonna do?" I found iSolution and brought my MacBook in. The guy fixed it right away while I watched. He didn't even charge me. Then on Saturday, Feb. 11, everytime I put my password in to log on, I got the whirligig. After waiting 5 attempts at about 15 minutes each with no progress, I realized this was a bigger problem than restart could fix. I brought my laptop into iSolution and the guy watched the whirligig and said, "This is an OS problem." Luckily I had my WD back up drive and it was current, so I told him if he had to wipe the laptop, so be it. Well, after a few hours he called and said the OS was corrupted and that he'd been able to fix it without wiping my laptop. No need to reinstall everything. Apparently my phone took in some moisture and he was able to very quickly identify that the issue was with my screen and thankfully he had replacement parts on hand. DELTED MY REVIEW 1 am absolutely shocked at the poor quality, I asked for a lense repair and he ruined my whole camera. There is a glare because he used windex on my screen I asked him to fix it and he refused. There is also glass shards that are in my camera lense moving around. This guy is super nice and I wanted to like him but sooo shady. I brought my phone in about 10 weeks ago bc I'd dropped and cracked my phone (front and back). He charges me $330 to fix the front and back. Immediately I had issues with the front screen. It would just black out and become unresponsive despite the phone still being on and responsive. I went in and talked to him and he said it's a "software issue" and refused to replace the screen. My phone would back out for 30-45 minutes. I can't work like that. So finally I just get an insurance replacement and when I take off my phone case I see this shady fuck never even replaced the back. He had just stuck my case on and I didn't even think to check. So he charged me for something he never even did. I am appalled. This guy is way overpriced and shady and does a horrible job. I don't recommend this place at all. I was upcharged for an authentic apple screen, but when I turned the phone on it immediately alerted me that there non-Apple products installed. It took forever, and didn't have time to wait for him to put on the cheaper generic product. He then refused to give me my old screen back without an additional charge. The owner here is so rude. I normally don't even THINK about leaving bad reviews because I know how it could affect someone's business but wow. This guy is something else. We had a package get delivered to him by UPS since he's an access point and he clearly didn't stay there until 7pm, as his business stated. So the missed delivery cost my partner's business a lot, and when we called him to give him feedback (instead of leaving a bad review), he dismissed us and lied and said that he didn't see anything arrive and he stayed the entire time there. He proceeded to gaslight us and told us "I'm ending this conversation, bye". This is the worst business ownership I've ever seen. Don't give this guy your business. I'm so frustrated. read more
