I've been a Tmobile customer for years My husband is a Verizon customer I have also been to many Tmobile stores through the years spanning Brooklyn, Manhattan to Long Island This store provides super fast, efficient, effective service with a side of personal humor by the staff. Went there today and was greeted in such a welcoming way by S, R and J. They were so kind and made the experience less confusing and scary. Loved it. Highly recommend this store location. So we go in today to get the red iPhone plus for a new business line we just started. It's so funny that my last review ended up being "incomplete" bc I never wrote her name :/ So the girl who burped in my husbands face was named Emily" lol sweet girl. Anyway we go today an was greeted an helped right away by desire. Very nice girl, very helpful an she definitely knows her stuff. Took a little while to open up the account but I guess it was bc we needed 2 lines to be activated... My family of 4 have been very satisfied with this carrier, since we transferred over from Verizon, for about 2+ years ago. We travel a lot and the international roaming data and text, is a HUGE help when we need to map something out, get in touch with each other, outside of the country. Two Sundays ago, Oct 14th, I went in with my two sons to upgrade our phones. We want to give a shout out to Nate Christenson! He took the time to help us choose our next phone, set them up. He was very patient, friendly and all around great customer service! We were there for a couple of hours and Nate took really good care of us, Thank you, Nate! BEWARE - DR JEKYLL & MR HYDE The ringleader Sasha is accommodating when she's selling you something but not when there's an issue with something she sold you just 2 days prior. Don't want to bore you with my story of purchasing a defective phone from this store. Just know that if you have any issues with any merchandise purchased from this store, they will not be accommodating. No refund, no exchange, NOTHING. They will also make you wait for over an hour and greet you with a 'Why are you bothering me while I'm securing new business attitude'. Skip this location. I went in on 9/5 to upgrade my phone and found the two customer service reps to be condescending and immature. They didn't tell me how long the upgrade process was going to take (nor could they even give me an estimate once they started it because they weren't paying attention), they scoffed when I didn't want the promotion as though I were a fool, my next bill was NOT the same and they told me that it would be so I'm not exactly sure what I was charged for the day of the upgrade, and to top it off they fiddled and played around with the temperature taker/PPE equipment laughing like it was some toy or joke. As someone who works for a medical college affiliated directly with NYP I found this exceptionally offensive. For good customer service, go to another location. read more

This shop has incredible customer service. Recently added my fiance's phone number to my account and Jonathan was helpful and patient as we worked through trying to get her number transferred with some incorrect friends. He worked on our behalf when calling both T-mobile and Verizon (made sure that she could get a 610 number as a temporary number if she couldn't get the PIN for her Verizon account), and he also made sure to get us the best deal for our new plan. I've previously come in to this T-mobile to activate my phone and they were prompt and professional. This store makes me proud to be a T-mobile customer and I would recommend it to anyone. read more

I've been a happy business customer for 10 years until the manager Cat came on the scene. She refused to attend to my son while I was on the phone with her stating that although he was an authorised user he was underage for something as simple as selling a SIM card. It was a day of a blizzard and although the store was prepared to service him the day before and had done so multiple times before, she refused to unless I also came in. Highly inefficient and rude. Previous managers have been the opposite, going out of their way to accommodate long term business customers. When I told her that she responded " that may have been an old manager but now you have me". I'm sorry for current T-Mobile park slope customers. read more

My parents came in here and ended up getting a "free" samsung phone my dad payed off the taxes for his "free" phone and also disputed a international charge . A lady that helped my dad said it was a mistake and took care of the charges. She also tried to say that the reason the bill was more then normal was that one of then lines went over the texting limit for the month with over thousands of texts which I know is in fact false because Tmobile has an unl talk, text, web plan. Not only did she give false information, the bill next month came in and charged us for the "FREE" phone and the same more international calls. The employees need to be better informed and do their job. read more

This is a great shop run by people with a decidedly pro-customer focus. Starters: We've been on Verizon for the last year after having been on AT&T in SF. In all of locations on all of these plans I've had the feeling that I've been getting screwed and that the quality wasn't all that great. We've found that our usage is really based about _data_ not anytime minutes or texts or anything else: let's be grown-ups and measure our world in DATA. The whole binge-on thing was attractive as well as getting out of overages (we would 2-3 times/yr go over our limit and, while relatively rare, the punishment for spot-data purchase was just too much). So we did the research and T-Mobile seemed solid. Sadeya helped us and she's a customer service ninja. Not only that but she's multi-device, multi-OS fluent so she'd navigate one menu set on the old phone then do the test on the new phone. It was awesome. We even were there until a bit past closing on Christmas Eve but she didn't quit until we were happy. Knowing I'm not going to get kicked in the teeth by VZW is a relief and with Spotify, Netflix, and Hulu covered under binge mode I'm going to be happy to use my network capability again. This is a great team with great customer focus: thumbs up to their management and their own initiative. read more

This 5th Ave T-Mobile location has awesome customer service. Natalia made sure we got exactly what we wanted for the best price. A week later when I was having a problem with my phone I went back to her and she not only remembered me, but fixed the problem immediately. Several months later we had an issue with a credit and our billing. I went back to the 5th Ave location and was helped by Jonathan, who went above and beyond to correct the problem. I went to change my service from Verizon to T-Mobile because I saw that they had special pricing for 55+. I went into the store on 5th Ave and started looking for a phone and the customer service rep told me the Samsung S8 was on special that day so I decided to go for it. Everything was fine until my first bill came today and the bill was quiet a bit more than I expected. I had to call T-Mobile and literally threaten to walk away to get the actual plan I signed up for. The rep was very nice but I asked him more than once if he was giving me the right plan only to find out that he wasn't - so it's a good company but you have to be VERY vigilant and call right away if something is not what they said when you were in the store. I hope that this is not how my relationship with T-Mobile continues! read more

I went in to this location to exchange my faulty Note 7 phone and the customer representative that was working the floor at around 10:20am on September 20, 2016 was not helpful and very rude when I was asked to be assisted. These representatives at the location in Park Slope on 5th ave do not care to maintain an exceptional image of T-Mobile. I was not helped, I was told they did not have my available phone. He gave me the option to put in an order but that I would be without a phone for "a day or so". I told the representative I use it for busness and that I could not be without a phone. He said he couldn't help and stated "If thats what you want to do then thats it", and walked away. I do business with my local Sunnyside Branch in NY and they are truly the image that T-mobile should strive to maintain. I Never had an issue with my local branch, but this location will probably be the worst experience i ever had in ANY business! read more

When I went to this location I asked him the truth about the S7 phone I asked him about the battery life and they told me was better than Note 5 so I took the phone home next day I returned the phone because the battery life is horrible on the S7 they gave me another one that one was no good I brought it back I had to pay more money to get back my old phone but I'm very happy with Note 5 they hire too many young kids that don't know what they're doing they play too many games there's too much time on their hands it's ridiculous especially the stocking fee nobody should have to pay for that after one or two days read more
