I've visited this shop twice now for cracked iPhone screens and they are so fast: I went and got a coffee, came back and it was ready. My visit today was for my iPhone 11 Pro Max. (Came into the store on 9/16/17) Ask for Beck. Super nice young Kazakhstan guy who was extremely friendly and honest. I brought in my cracked and rainbow screened iPhone 6 at 7:20pm. He repaired it in 20 minutes. He told me straight up if I wanted the over-the-counter screen for cheaper at $80 or the high-end one for $110. Difference would be the color hues would be a bit more noticeable and quality. I opted for the higher-end one. Screen repair came out great and looks brand new. I would definitely recommend going to see Beck again because I can expect to get his honest opinion on repairs. read more

100% perfect. My iPhone 7 had stopped powering up, and wasn't pulling in any charge while plugged in. I took it to the Apple Store, they plugged it in to a diagnostic device, and said "it can't be fixed, no way to repair it, it's done, you need a new phone, there's nothing you can do." I took it to Smart Phone and Beck, the mechanic here, said "let's try a few things out free of charge to see if we can find the solution, ok let's definitely fix it, and here's a half an hour of great conversation along the way about my native Kazakstan and your Ashkenazi heritage, plus a recommendation for an Uzbek Jewish place you should go eat in Coney Island, and a really firm fist-bump." I would give zero stars if I could. This place is FRAUD. They run a scheme where they fix your phone with bad parts so you keep coming back to them again and again. I initially came in with a hairline crack on my iPhone 10. After they fixed my phone, my screen starting turnjnf black and eventually just went completely black. I went back to the store and they said it was my fault, even though there was no damage or anything. Then I paid to fix it again and had the same issue again. My screen starting turning black. Before I came in for a hairline crack, I had zero issues with my phone for over a year. They basically put bad parts in my phone and wanted to keep charging me to fix it. I do not trust them and you shouldn't either. When I asked for a refund so I can go to a reputable place, they refused. read more

This place may offer the best price around, but you get what you pay for. About a month after getting my iPhone X screen replaced by these guys, my screen developed a huge distorted area covering about a quarter of the screen. There was no sign of cracked glass in that area, and the touch portion seemed to work - I just couldn't see anything in the affected area. I went back to the store to tell them about the problem, and they said it wasn't a manufacturer defect - it was just a feature of the LED screen. The guy said it could break even without damage to the glass or touch screen above it - that it could be in my pocket and get bumped the wrong way and break. He claimed that all screens with this sort of LED could break just like that, but I've never had this problem with any other iPhone screen (original or replacement). I also told him that my FaceID started behaving oddly after the replacement, but he didn't care - just claimed it wouldn't be affected by the replacement glass. When I asked if he could at least give me a break on a replacement, he gave me this long speech about barely making any money on each screen. As I was walking out the door he yelled that he could knock $10 off the price.... but I know better now. DO NOT COME HERE. They are extremely unprofessional, abusive and a bad business. I would give it 0 stars if I could. I initially came here to fix my iPhone 6 home button as it wasn't working. My phone was disabled, and in order to unlock I needed to have access to the home button as well as a computer. I waiting 30 minutes for him to complete the service. Then went home and spent hours trying to unlock it and it still did not work. I waited for an apple appointment and they informed me that there were screws and parts missing out of my phone and that was why the button wasn't working! I immediately went back to the store, and confronted the man that had completed the service. He was extremely unprofessional as he raised his voice at me. After the whole debacle, he changes the home button and it all of a sudden magically works. Three days later the button stops working. I yet again go back and requested a refund and he wasn't flexible at all. He offered to replace the home button with a nonworking button and give me a partial refund. I informed him that I was not pleased with his service, as I paid $90 for something that does not work. He instantly lashed out at me and said that I wasn't being fair that I was a bad person and something bad was going to happen to me. I CAN'T NOT EXPRESS ENOUGH, DO NOT COME HERE! I called about getting the shattered back of my iphone 8 repaired. The man who I spoke to confirmed that they have the part and I could bring it the next day. I drove all the way from Queens to come here to fix my phone. I showed up and the man I spoke with was not there. At first the other man told me they didn't have the part. When I told him another man said they did just yesterday he looked around and found it. He told me to come back in about an 1 1/2 hr so I kill time until then. When I get back at the agreed upon time he told me some nonsense about them not having some heat machine that was necessary to fix the phone. Okay but you didn't know this before you told me to leave my phone? The other guy didn't know this before he told me to come the previous day? This really is not the way to conduct a business. Both men were polite, but I'm really pissed off that I wasted time coming all the way here and waiting for nothing. Oh and not directly their fault, but while I was leaving I had to go down one of those idiotic narrow Brooklyn streets which of course had a truck double parked. I had no choice but to try and squeeze past and my entire passenger side was damaged from front to back. I would strongly suggest you NOT bring your business here. I came in for a screen fix and initially was generally happy with the service. They fixed the screen (though it took longer than advertised). However, I noticed the next day that I had a new issue in that my audio no longer worked. When I came back they told me this was a known issue for my model. I explained this had NOT been an issue before the screen fix but they wouldn't resolve the problem unless I agreed to pay for another repair. read more
