I believe they wanted me to get a new plan, or buy new phones. I CANNOT GET TO A STORE. I AM DISABLED. I have run a business in my lifetime, and want them to know something: Short term gains, are short term. What will hurt your overall business is what is passed around by WORD OF MOUTH. - not only for one store but for the entire company. Things like trying to get me to put my sim card in upside down, and later, backwards, cannot be just customer service incompetence. I has to be DELIBERATE. I have been a valued customer for many years. What do you think you are going to gain by this kind of service? UPDATE: after several days of being WITHOUT any of my 4 family lines working, i found the strength to call again. This time, somebody who seemed more competent, enabled two phones after over an hour of work. Sadly, the next day, only one phone worked.

Went there today and was greeted in such a welcoming way by S, R and J. They were so kind and made the experience less confusing and scary. Loved it. Highly recommend this store location. Kudos to the Tmobile expert staff members who remain human and are so lovely to work with

Do not trust the representatives at this location. I came in for a simple, cheap basic plan…read more Knowing that I am new in the city as an international student, the sales rep thought he could trick me and sneaked $40 worth of extra monthly subscriptions (Cloud Storage, Family Plus, etc.) into my plan without telling me. He lied to my face, saying my bill would naturally be $94 just for the next two months, hiding the fact that he was charging me for perks I never asked for. I had to manually cancel all of them online. Very deceptive customer service taking advantage of people. Not writing your name here, but congratulations on ripping off an average person just to get a few dollars of bonus! You are doing an amazing job acting as a loyal pawn for a massive corporation that doesn't even care about you.

I came in for a new iPhone and Aidan assisted me. During my time in the store Aidan signed me up…read morefor Home Device Protection, which I didn't want, insisting it was already on my family's plan I just needed to sign to continue it for my device. He then cancelled my two family member's hotspots and my other family member's Apple Music. He likely did this to fudge the numbers so we wouldn't notice what he enrolled us in and so he could get commission for it. Then he added 4 additional accessories to my bill (over $200 more) without asking, insisting that I needed them, and got butt hurt when I asked him to remove them. Now we had to spend 45 minutes on customer service and the damage he did would have cost $130 if not for a very accommodating Verizon customer support rep. It was very manipulative customer service. I've read other reviews of this store saying the same. Would definitely avoid.

Booked an online appointment to replace my iPhone battery. Checked in on time, then waited 20…read moreminutes past my appointment before anyone helped me. First employee tried to talk me into buying a new phone because mine was already almost two years old. Then told me, despite what the Apple app said, the battery couldn't be replaced that day. I explained I only wanted the battery replaced since new phones come out in September. That employee disappeared, and a second person told me the battery wasn't in stock and would take three days to arrive -- plus another two hours for the actual repair. The Genius Bar feels like the Gaslighting Bar. I did my research and only wanted a replacement battery but they made me sit through a sales pitch. If they knew the battery I needed wasn't in stock why would they take the appointment? Apple loves to seem green, promoting repairability in theory, but in practice the process is designed to push customers toward buying new devices.

I recently visited Apple Downtown Brooklyn on Flatbush Ave, and overall I'd give it 3 stars…read more On the positive side, the store itself is clean, modern, and well-organized--exactly what you expect from Apple. Many staff members are friendly and knowledgeable, and when you do get help, the service can feel thorough and professional. A lot of customers echo this, noting helpful interactions and strong product knowledge. That said, the experience is inconsistent. The biggest issue is support--both in terms of availability and capability. Wait times can be long, and it's not always clear who is available to help. More frustratingly, I've been told on multiple occasions that certain issues "can't be handled in-store," which feels limiting for a location that's supposed to offer full service and Genius Bar support. This aligns with broader feedback about the store: while many people have positive experiences, others mention delays and uneven service depending on timing or staff. Overall, it's a convenient location with potential, but the inconsistency in support and limitations on what can actually be done in-store make it hard to fully rely on.

This T-Mobile location is quite possibly one of the worst experiences I have ever had to deal with…read more I went in about a month ago to add my mom to my account and what ended up happening was that they added a 3rd line I never authorized, they added services I never authorized and when I purchased a new iPhone for my mom, instead of fully charging me for the device how I originally wanted the goddamn idiot customer service rep (Jose) decided to put the device under contract without telling me so that I would be charged installments every month which I didn't want because it would make my monthly bill higher. When I got home that evening and checked my account it was only then that I realized the horror I had to deal with and It has taken me a entire month to get this sorted through T-Mobile customer service (1-800 number) to get that 3rd removed, pay the iPhone in full, get the extra services I never authorized removed and get a credit back for the 3rd line because I was still charged for it. I will never step foot in that joke of a establishment again, I know that I'm not the only person that has gotten scammed by that place and I know for a fact that regardless of whatever happens with the fraud complaint I placed on that place nothing will happen to either the manager who runs that location or the jackass customer service agent (Jose). So in the end f__k that place and everyone working at the joke of a store, hopefully it burns to the ground!
