He lied to my face, saying my bill would naturally be $94 just for the next two months, hiding the fact that he was charging me for perks I never asked for. I had to manually cancel all of them online. Very deceptive customer service taking advantage of people. Not writing your name here, but congratulations on ripping off an average person just to get a few dollars of bonus! I explained I only wanted the battery replaced since new phones come out in September. That employee disappeared, and a second person told me the battery wasn't in stock and would take three days to arrive -- plus another two hours for the actual repair. The Genius Bar feels like the Gaslighting Bar. I did my research and only wanted a replacement battery but they made me sit through a sales pitch. If they knew the battery I needed wasn't in stock why would they take the appointment? Apple loves to seem green, promoting repairability in theory, but in practice the process is designed to push customers toward buying new devices.
