Ok I was in and out in 15 minutes with a new phone set up. Jessica was awesome and this was the smoothest process ever.

After dealing with crappy service at the Sprint store here in town I decided to cancel my contract…read morewith them early and move to my wife's plan with Verizon. So before doing so I wanted to visit a store and see what phones they had to offer. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Jeremy who very polite and offered to help us; I never got that kind of service when I went into a Sprint store. He looked up my wife's plan and recommended a new plan for her after I was added that would save us some money over what she was paying for her previous plan; after adding me to her account we are saving over $50 a month on a family plan compared to us each having our own plan. Jeremy asked what type of phone I was looking for and I told him "anything but an iPhone" and he was more than happy to bring out several of their top selling Android phones and explain all the features and pricing on the phones. Finally found a phone I liked and we made the deal and signed the dreaded 2 year agreement required of most cellular services. I'm pretty happy so far with Verizon as their in-store customer service is great and I'm getting a way better signal on the island than I did with Sprint.

Came in the evening of Dec 23rd 2025 and was helped by a new rep named Brandon who was in training,…read morealong with his trainer James (who is basically a phone wizard). Both of them were patient, knowledgeable, and each took the time to explain everything clearly to me during my eSIM activation after a trip I had taken where my previous SIM card failed. James did a great job coaching without taking over, and Brandon handled things confidently as well. Hands down one of the best in-store Verizon experiences I've had. I've grown so accustomed to being pressure sold phones at typical phone stores in the past, but not here. These guys actually helped me to save money on my bill each month! This isn't your typical lazy/scammy phone store, hence the outstanding reviews in comparison to others in the area. Huge credit to both reps that helped me out.

1-Star Review After…read more15 years with Verizon, I called in July to see if they valued keeping my business. My bill was nearly $200/month, and all they offered me was a $10 discount. When I mentioned Xfinity's offer, Verizon had no interest in matching it. So, I switched to Xfinity, where I already have internet and security. For comparison, Xfinity gave me: * $25 per line for 12 months (2 phones, unlimited service) * $100 gift card per line (2 lines transferred) * After the first year, my total is just $65/month for 2 phones * A free Apple Watch included * I own my equipment, so no hidden costs Verizon made the port-out process a nightmare -- three days back and forth between carriers. I requested all services disconnected, including my Apple Watch, yet Verizon failed to do so. Two months later (September), instead of a final bill, I received a threatening letter demanding $250. To this day, I have not received a proper itemized final bill. Even worse, when I called the number on that letter, their system did not recognize the account number or the phone number listed. Impossible to reach a person. The only way I finally got through was by calling in as if I were a brand-new customer. To top it off, Verizon suddenly began charging me for a Disney Bundle from a phone upgrade 3 years ago -- something I never asked for, never used, and didn't even know I had. And here's the kicker: Verizon now claims I "never disconnected" service, only ported my numbers. They locked me out of my account, left my Apple Watch line still charging, and yet shut down the online portal where I could even view or pay anything. In short: * Verizon wouldn't fight to keep a loyal 15-year customer. * They billed me after disconnection. * They charged me for "free" services from years ago. * They failed to disconnect lines I specifically requested. * They blocked my account access while still billing me. * They replaced an itemized bill with a threat letter that leads nowhere. * They make it impossible to reach support unless you pretend to be a new customer. Buyer beware: Especially after you leave, you MUST double-check your Verizon account. They make it impossible to get through -- their threat letters only list closed account info that doesn't work when you call. Verizon will say you "only ported numbers," not disconnected service, then lock you out of your account while still charging for leftover lines. Loyalty means nothing here. Meanwhile, Xfinity gave me better pricing, better perks, a free watch, and no hassle.

Setting the wait aside, I received helpful service that resolved my issue without a lot of extraneous discussion. Various other groups came before and after me with complex issues and got the human touch needed for a solution, so I'd say this is probably a decent location to come to if you need some actual help.

I ordered an Apple Watch from the Verizon store on Victory Drive in Savannah, GA. When it arrived,…read morethe band was too large. The salesperson who helped me, Justin, was terrific--he immediately offered to order a smaller band so I could compare both sizes before deciding which one to purchase. He repacked the original watch, labeled the box with my name, and said the store would hold it in the back until the second one arrived. Over the next few days, I received multiple confirmations: emails from Verizon showing two watch orders, voicemail notifications telling me the watch was ready for pickup, and FedEx tracking updates confirming delivery to the store. Everything looked exactly as Justin had explained. But when I went to pick up the watch, Justin was off--and the experience went downhill fast. The salesperson who greeted me told me there was no record of any orders, no watches in the back, nothing. I showed him the Verizon emails, FedEx delivery confirmations, and even explained that I had already tried on the original watch they'd set aside. He dismissed all of it and made me feel like I was imagining the entire situation. I asked for the manager, and unfortunately things only got worse. She showed no concern that two watches--both confirmed delivered and signed for--had seemingly disappeared. She didn't apologize, didn't investigate, didn't look up the order, didn't ask questions... nothing. Her attitude was essentially: You never ordered anything and we can't help you. As someone who has been a Verizon customer since the early days--my entire family has multiple lines and devices with you--this was beyond disappointing. I would have understood if they said the watch was accidentally sold or misplaced. Mistakes happen. What's unacceptable is insisting the order never existed when I'm providing all the documentation, and showing zero interest in figuring out what happened to merchandise delivered to and signed for by a Verizon store manager. At the very least, I expected someone to care that two Apple Watches confirmed delivered to your store have vanished. Whether they were mis-scanned, sold, or stolen, this should matter to the store leadership. Instead, I was treated dismissively and left without any resolution.
