My previous review was quite negative towards AT&T. This was quite the opposite. My wife and I were greeted by Brian at the door who guided us to a smooth transition from AT&T to Verizon. We came to find out he was from the same town up north as we were. He apologized for the time it took to get everything in order. He helped by looking for the best deals that would work for our 4 lines. The main point was he was able to get my wife's phone working again. Great Mother's Day gift!! The people there all appear to enjoy what they do. They also had plenty of staff and I didn't need an appointment. Also closer to our new home than AT&T. read more

I was here on vacation and after getting the run around from Verizon tech support I was directed to a corporate store because I bought from an authorized retailer in another state and was told that they could replace the phone. So I drove half an hour to find out that tech support was wrong. The store went to bat for me with the corporate office and was able to work some voodoo magic to help me replace the brand new phone that had stopped working after day 6. I just went in with some questions on a piece of equipment that wasn't working properly and spoke with Tom. He was exceptionally helpful and "customer courteous". He got me what I needed, was polite, and even acknowledged waiting customers while helping me, without skipping a beat or taking away from helping me. My New Year's resolution was to stop giving people commission who don't deserve it! I came in wanting to buy a new phone. I was advised I would wait twenty minutes. Ok I thought, I can do that. Thirty minutes later I got a text stating I was next. I was not next. I was told that appointments come first. Ok no problem! However, when I watched several people doing nothing and one person getting help right after walking in-I left. At that time I had been waiting for 45 minutes. I I finally got a text saying to meet the manager at the front desk. Why would I do that? I'm no longer giving people who don't value my time money in their pockets. I will be going online later today and ordering a phone. It will take me five minutes and no one that doesn't deserve it will get any credit! I also noticed other people just sitting around and not getting help! Including the family that was standing behind me who I told I was leaving to so perhaps they could have my space. They had been told someone would be back to them, as did the couple who was being helped and was simply abandoned for nearly ten minutes. Do not visit this store. read more

Was in the other day and had probably the best customer experience ever from a young gentleman named Albert. He was so patient and informative. It was a long visit and I felt bad for occupying his time but jokes were cracked and the small talk was never dull or awkward. I have been with Verizon for several years and always have dreaded my necessary in-store visits, but for now on I will be looking forward to them. I had mixed experiences here. At first, I had a good experience. I had to previously pay about $500 I owed Verizon from when I was a previous customer. I had to pay this balance off in full just to get Verizon back again as a carrier. I paid my balance, and I asked kindly for a receipt tax purposes for my new business that I just opened, and this establishment gave me a hard time about giving me a receipt. They even called the police on me and almost had me arrested. I had to explain to the police that I needed the receipt for tax purposes and the police understood this Verizon store complied and gave me the receipt. After the police straightened out the situation, it was agreed upon by me and this establishment that we would conduct business and I would be reinstated on Verizon again. This all went smoothly. Before leaving HHI, I bought a new Samsung tablet which is in no way as good as an iPad and I also bought a new Samsung Note 5 cell phone. The cell phone is actually in some ways superior to my iPhone, but my iPhone is still better. I really can't fault this store for selling me this things because I requested them, HOWEVER, I was attempting to buy a new condo, and I went back to this store and wanted to return my phone, tablet, and some useless speaker to listen to music, and this Verizon store refused to give me my money back. They told me some story that I was getting things for free when in fact I was paying full price for everything. As you can see, I was lied to. Why so many flock to this store in HHI is beyond me except for the fact that Verizon has the best coverage on the Island. I'm happy now that I don't have Verizon any longer as my cell provider. They charge way too much for there service and they don't give a good deal on data. Data is not free with Verizon and they don't give you enough data on any given plan for the price. I'm certain that the only reason that so many people came to this store is because of the great coverage in HHI. I am a long time customer who spent thousands on verizon. Went to get some help with my device. First of all music was too loud and the man at the door (greeter) had to lean in to my face because we couldn't hear each other. Very unprofessional environment since this is not a nursery for teenagers but a business place. Than after I waited for some time I found out that they can not help me with my device the lady who helped was repeating "we were not trained for that" and than the manager joined her saying "I don't know" and she would look at him and say the sam "I do't know". Well in this case I really do not want to stay with verizon even though I would if the customer service was better but apparently they do not need more people and I do not need their incompetent staff. Terrible customer service at this store. When I went in to buy my first smartphone today (and opened up a new single-line plan), I was not given any sort of description of what phones were available to me. Then, after I had picked a phone, the employee I worked with silently set up my plan (asking no questions or verifying what I wanted), put the phone in a bag, asked if I wanted insurance and walked away to the back room. I waited at the counter, thinking she would come back to verify what plan I wanted, give a run down of my phone, transfer my contacts, etc., but after waiting several minutes, nothing. Since I had to get to work and already wasted an hour in the store, I left. Later on, I check my Verizon plan online and I'm signed up for an $80/month MORE Everything plan when I had requested (more than once) a $60/month single-line plan. So now I have to call Verizon customer service tomorrow and get it fixed. Completely incompetent. Didn't work with anyone else at the store, but the employees were all very noisy with one another and didn't seem very professional. Will not be returning to this store for anything else. read more
