Joe Morris was wonderfully helpful on my email problem: Messages from a high priority source were going to SPAM. I went first to my provider, Comcast, but they had no time for me. Joe, on the other hand, was glad to try several possible solutions and willing to try more if those didn't work. Eventually it was Comcast who had to fix it. They said their server couldn't recognize the address as legitimate because it contained a hyphen. I switched from Consumer Cellular to Verizon. Although the agent was very pleasant​, items like accessing voice mail and other aspects of the phone weren't ​discussed. Also, the price quoted was less than I was actually charged. I resolve that. Today the bill came. It was DOUBLE what I expected to pay. There was no adjustment in price. In the space of 1 month I will have had 3 carriers. T-Mobile is my next option. Stay very far away from Consumer Cellular and Verizon. If you do purchase a Verizon plan, double check the cost directly with the carrier. I don't know about you but I wish just one thing could be easy. read more

We were on just the 2nd day of our VERY long road trip to the southeastern US, when I killed my cellphone. How I did it is a long story, but as luck would have it, I knew that I was just one month shy of paying it off, so I didn't hesitate in making a trip to this Verizon Store on East Victory Dr. in Savannah. I got there jus as they were opening, and I was greeted warmly by Leo. Told him that I had been doing some research on phones, had chosen the Google Pixel 6a for my upgrade, and he told me that I could get the Pixel 7 for just a few dollars more per month. I stuck with the 6a, and he didn't pressure me. Also didn't pressure me when I told him that I'd buy a protective case off Amazon to save money. Cellularsales stores are FRAUDS! I contacted Verizon directly and they will tell you they are in no way responsible for things those stores lie to you about. We had a sales guy named Alvin Cummings talk us into a new iphone for our daughter while we were at the Perry Fair in GA. They had Verizon booths up everywhere. He was able to look into my account and check everything and seemed very legit. We purchased the phone and he said he would send us a prepaid return label to return her old phone for credits towards the new phone (typical trade in). It took us about a week to finally get the label. We shipped it back. He received it, we got in touch with him. He said it would be processed and the credits toward the new phone would be added to our account, so we basically got the free upgrade. Well, fast forward to now and he has ignored us and no credits have been issued. We contacted Verizon and Verizon basically says Cellularsales run 100 percent on commission and all they worry about is making sales and they tell customers false information and put them in a bind and nothing can be done. You can file chargebacks and file complaints, but until Verizon cuts this company loose, they will continue to defraud people! He basically made us pay double activation fees since verizon charged us and Cellularsales charged us, he took my daughters iphone 13 and gave us nothing for it and he sold us an iphone 16 128GB for $840 and we have to pay full retail because he stole our phone! Last week I wrote a stellar review on Google for this store because I was given amazing customer service that went above and beyond. Then a few days ago when my new phone arrived, and I needed them to switch phone numbers on my devices, I went back to this store expecting the same amazing service. I was disappointed. The young lady with long brown hair tried to help me, but we learned that when phones arrive now, they are not activated because they do not have SIM cards. This meant I just had to call Verizon to get them to activate it first before she could switch my numbers. We could have done this if it had not been for the incredibly rude manager (I assume she was a manager since she was telling the helpful associate what to do.) I didn't get her name, but she's middle-aged with terrible blonde streaks. She was so concerned that the store was closing in 40 minutes and that my issue might make her stay late. I lost track of the number of times she reminded me that "We're not a corporate store, so we can't activate your phone". I got that the first time, that's why I was literally on the phone with Verizon getting it activated as she was saying this. When she came over to the nice associate who was trying to help me and began to rush her because (gasp) the store was closing in 40 minutes, I finally picked up my things and left. The manager made it abundantly clear that she did not want to help me from the moment I walked in. Rude blonde streaks manager should find a job that doesn't require human interaction. This store has several helpful associates. One of them should be the manager. read more

This specific store has always had the most helpful employees. Very friendly. Pam helped me recently and she was very informative and went above any expectations I could have had for their customer service. She went in depth with how the pricing would work for any promos, trade ins etc, and was so incredibly transparent with me. She also offered coffee because the AC was cold to me and I had waited a small amount of time because it was busy. But my wait was comfortable! I had no issue. BUYER BEWARE... I'm not prone to posting reviews online and, when I do, they're more likely to be positive than negative. I feel a need though to pass along my experience with Cellular Sales, on Victory Drive in Savannah, so that others are made aware of their sales, or upselling, tactics. It's an unfortunate reality in the cell phone business that sales representatives receive much, or even most, of their compensation by selling add-ons to customers in addition to phones. These add-ons may include accessories such as phone cases, screen protectors, car phone holders, etc. but, as in the case of Cellular Sales, may also include Device Protection insurance. As long as the customer is aware of, and given the choice to authorize, such additions to their invoice there's nothing unethical about this practice. However, in the case of this particular Cellular Sales outlet the reps are apparently encouraged to tack on Device Protection insurance ($17 monthly) without discussing with, nor having authorization of, the customer. This practice can be described as nothing short of unethical. It should also be noted that Cellular Sales is a third party, Verizon authorized, sales outlet and not the same entity as corporate Verizon stores. In my particular case, it was not until I later noticed on my Verizon phone bill a new add-on charge of $17 that I was made aware I had been signed up, without my knowledge, for Device Protection. In reviewing my original order made with the rep I saw that there was a (1) next to Device Protection but a charge of $0.00. Since the rep at no time discussed such Device Protection with me I accepted this $0.00 to mean it wasn't added on to my bill... (NOT). The fact that I was able to have this charge removed from my account makes little difference since it should have never been charged in the first place and, fortunately, I took the initiative to review my bill. At the time I picked up my phone at the store I also had a friend with me who ordered a phone that night from a different sales rep than the one who I had placed my order with. The following day, after realizing I had been charged for an add on I hadn't authorized, I asked my friend to check their order to see if they had also been charged for Device Protection. Upon checking they realized that they, too, had been charged the same $17 add-on for Device Protection without their knowledge or authorization. This would lead me to believe that all the sales reps at Cellular Sales engage in this upselling practice. Attempts by me to contact the sales rep who processed my order to discuss this unethical practice have gone unanswered. Likewise, messages to Cellular Sales customer service have also proved fruitless. I'm just saying, look closely at the order (bill) you are signing at the time of your phone purchase. DO NOT accept Device Protection unless it's something you have discussed with the rep and understand what it entails. It is the customer who should authorize this charge to their account, not the sales rep. read more

Went in to pay my bill was helped by Trey Burke III. Instead of paying 1 month of my bills he charged my card for this months and the next then refused to help me rectify the payment issue. I had to talk to another rep. How helped me fully while mr. Burke repeatedly told the other rep that it was fine when in fact it wasn't. Then he told me it was my issue when in fact it wasn't. Recently I went in for my upgrade and was given the wrong phone after discussing with the original sales person why I needed the other one. I went in the next day after realizing it was the wrong one pretty mad and Jay helped me and went way out of his way to fix the issue. He gave me his cell and kept in contact with me until the issue was resolved. He even came in on his day off to help me which wasn't necessary. Talk about a total let down! Two weeks into owning the phone and I'm having * Wifi issues * Screen sensitivity problems * Big black spot on all my photos So I email Kimberly on 10/6 and ask about what can be done and she gets back to me on the same day saying she'll call me on Monday (10/8). Monday rolls around, no call, so I email again on Monday with no response. 10/10 rolls around and I call but she's gone for the day and there's no managers on duty. The person, Chris, takes my info and concerns and says he'll call me back shortly. Guess what? He never calls back. I stop in a couple days later and there's no managers on duty and the guy Steven treats me like I'm an idiot for coming in since it's now beyond their 14 day return period and because I'd have to arrange for a new one directly with Verizon. I was told I would get good customer service and so far all I have is a defective phone and being ignored by this company. Fail. Sure! Go here if you want awesome, sweet customer service when you're buying, but as soon as you're out the door expect them not to live up to their promises. read more

So I went to try to get a phone from this Verizon 2 weeks ago on December 2, 2021. I wanted to get the iPhone 13 pro max under their promotion which I researched. I was gonna trade in my iPhone XR for the 13 max and get my phone line because I'm on my mother's phone line and I was trying to establish credit. I told the guy that was helping that I didn't have any credit and he ran my credit and quoted that iPhone with the $1000 promotion by trading in the XR and I would only have to pay $95 for the setup fee but I would have to wait 2 WEEKS!!!!! for the phone because it was on back order so I WAITED. So I called on Dec 16th because I didn't hear from them and their suppose to call when the phone comes. When I called the other guy picked up I told him I didn't hear from them about the phone so he goes and checks the phone and I guess the guy didn't order it right because it was supposed to be the 128GB but they only had the 256GB at four more dollars a month which I was fine with then he is telling me after I told him what I got QUOTED for that I CAN'T get the phone with the $1000 off promotion that I could get the $800 promotion because that's how much my current phone is worth now. Me being the nice person that I am I was fine with it because I was eager to get this new phone because I was having little problems with mine which they were going to take if it was damaged or not but it was in good condition but it irritating. To Continue with dreadful experiencing with this STORE is ICING ON TOP OF THE DAMN CAKE, I get to the store the next day to pick on up my phone I wait on the 2nd guy who told the right info to assist me it was thirty mins before I got waited on but I didn't want to go to anyone else because of the misleading info I was given the first time. So when he got to me we had to do a couple of tech things and then he said that he was gonna run my credit again and that RUIN MY WHOLE DAY and WASTED MY TIME because he tells me that I would have to pay $100 Security Deposit plus pay the $1199 Straight out no payment plan nothing because I was young but I had plenty of money to pay that but I'm trying to get me a new car and it was the principle and I sure the hell wasn't about to do that when the damn dude told me all that misleading information because yall wasted my DAMN TWO WEEKS and WASTED MY DAMN MORNING so Verizon on victory drive you need to get your act together and train your employees the right way I should have been offered something that met up to my standards from receiving this horrendous customer service experience. read more

However, if you ever need anything, go see Sheldon at the Cellular Sales Verizon store at 1800 E Victory. Verizon has frustrated me so much over the years, but Sheldon has always fixed all my issues and made sure my account was taken care of without charging anything. They fixed a tablet for me and it broke and I took it back and even though it was a little out of the Warranty window, they did a COMPLETE REPAIR FOR FREE for me !!!! They are VERY PROFESSIONAL, polite, courteous and accommodating. They have skilled service techs working and everyone we came in contact with were polite, kind , engaging and helpful ! I haven't written a Yelp review before but after seeing the rating for Cellular Sales on Victory I figured I should contribute. I was actually pretty shocked to see such a low score. I've been going there since fall of 2015 when I first switched to Verizon. Although I've only gone a few times (Setting up Verizon, upgrading phones, replacing a faulty SIM card after using it for a while) I've had nothing but positive experiences. My most recent experience was this past Tuesday, when I upgraded my phone. Despite the rep (I believe his name was Edward) being an Android user, he gave me great advice on resolving my issues with moving music from my old iPhone to my new one- advice that an in-depth google search wasn't nearly as clear on. They were also very helpful prior to the upgrade when I called to ask questions about transferring data- I was unable to back up my previous phone for a year and a half so I was worried about losing information. Overall this business has been very helpful to me over the years whenever I've run into a snag dealing with upgrades and such. I'd easily recommend them to local friends if they're on Verizon. read more

I recently purchased a phone from this store. When I went in I was going to use my upgrade. I spoke with the sales rep Hannah and was told that I had no more payments to make on my phone and that I could trade mine in for credit to put towards my purchase that day. I told her that I was pretty sure I still had payments on my phone, but assured me that I did not and specifically held up my phone and pointed to it and said there were no more payments to made on the phone. About 4 days later another family member of mine on our family plan went into the store to trade in her phone. She was told she could not because the upgrade I used was on her line and that I still owed $397 on my phone before she could upgrade it. At this point I called Verizon Customer Service and they said that the sales rep should not have even been allowed to trade my phone in for credit because it was not fully paid off. Verizon does not allow phones to be traded in unless they are 100% paid off is what they told me. Yet this sales rep somehow traded mine in. I was never made aware that I still had payments to make on it so I called Cellular Sales to see if there was a way to get my old phone back and return the new one I had. Since no one in their right mind would say okay to purchasing a new phone still knowing they owed almost $400 on the other phone. When I spoke with them they told me that my old phone had already been shipped to the warehouse and there was no way of getting it back and that I had to pay the $400. I asked them to open a ticket and speak with management, so they did. Management then denied my request because they said I signed the paperwork and that every sales rep in that store said that Hannah told me about the payments. If she had told me about the payments, then how did she trade my phone in for credit? Exactly, because she did not and she did not do her research either to make sure of it. So now I am stuck paying for 2 iPhones that I can't afford because their employee messed up. read more
