Jared..... Where to…read morebegin..... First off, I have a history of bad experiences with the company in general, however there are limited places that also do on-site repairs. My bad history begain in 2009 in South Portland, ME and I am still dealing with issues from that same experience. We brought my wife's custom wedding ring in to have it sized and cleaned. When we went to pick it back up, there was significant perocity observed where they sized the ring and it looked very dirty. We were told that they were going to fix the issue from the sizing and that they would dip the white gold portions in rhodium to make it shine again. One week later, we go to pick the ring up, and the same perocity is there, but now it is worse. The entire piece now looked like tarnished silver. After much discussion and us pointing out the new issues by holding the ring against pictures of what we brought in, they finally acknowledged that the perocity would not improve and that they dipped the ring into a bad batch of rhodium!! At this point, the ring was sent out to their corporate shop to attempt to recover the piece...... with no luck. The store manager then refused to deal with us anymore and said that the district manager would be in contact. After 2 months of back and forth with the district manager, it was decided that Jared would replace the ring with something of equivalent value from their store. My wife and I returned to the store where we were greeted by the assistant manager (as the manager still refused to deal with us). We walked the store looking for something similar, which was not to be found. We were shown an enhancer that would not match the original band that was destroyed or my wife's engagment ring. The assistant manager offered to move the head off of the original engagement ring to a new ring and that would be included so that my wife would have a matched set. We agreed to this. One week later, we returned and picked uo her new set and we assumed that our issues were done.... they were not. The first time we noticed an issue, we went into a different Jared for their complimentary inspection and cleaning and we could not be located in their computer system. We were denied the inspection and cleaning due to this even though they verified that the pieces themselves came from Jared. Fast forward to our 10 year wedding anniversary and I decided to upgrade the diamond on the engagment ring from a cluster to a solid stone. We had the work done in Texas where we lived at the time at a local jeweler and it came out stunning. One year later and my wife got the head of the ring caught and it pulled off of the ring. I decided to bring it into the local Savannah Jared as her family was visiting the next week so we wanted a quick turnaround. Once again, what a mistake.... I was quoted $73.99 and a 2 hour turnaround. I agreed to this and authorized the work to be performed. Around half an hour from when the ring was to be ready, I receive a phone call and am told that they cannot perform the work (that they originally quoted while looking at the ring in the repair shop) and instead of re-soldering the head back on, I would need to purchase an entirely new setting from them (for $150 plus the $73.99 fee) for the stone to be re-attached. I did not authorize the work and said that I would be right back up. Within 15 minutes I was walking back through the door at Jared and I went to the repair center. I spoke to a pleasant servive associate from the retail side and explained that I would like a further expanation as to why the work could not be performed. She stated that the manager that had called (just 15 minutes before) was gone for the day. I asked if I could speak to anyone else regarding why the work could not be performed as quoted and was told that no, I could only speak to him. At this point, the poor associate is trying to upsell me with a "trade in" of the original ring. The issue with this is that the original location never entered it into the POS, so a "trade in" is not possible. I would be on the hook for the entire amount versus the discounted rate for giving them the original replacement. Long story short, I have now vowed to NEVER purchase anything again from Jared and will tell this full story to anyone that I can.

Wonderful customer service, all of the employees were friendly and kind. My ring was done on walk-in and was finished within a couple hours. They ran overtime a little and were very apologetic and made my fiancé and I feel comfortable in store to wait around. Really good experience and will be returning to get my ring cleaned this month!

6-24-24 Came here…read morespecifically for to glass frames 11x14 for two pictures that I have. Once inside it is pretty much like every Michael's you have ever been in nothing out of the ordinary. However on my way to the very back of the store where they have the frames I passed the artificial flowers. The Summer collection was on sale 50% off many looked real. As I looked I couldn't decide nor could imagine where to put in my new home. I purged for a year to move so buying more stuff isn't in my plan. I get the two frames and head to a register. This is where I was introduced to self service. It actually made zero sense as there was no line just me and a Michael's employee instructing me how to check out. Plezzz I don't work there and no discounts, for this I should have just ordered online from anyone else. This was a real turn off.

The wife and I have been looking for a nice crystal store and luckily we found this gem. This store…read morehas a great variety of different crystals, stones, and minerals. From small $10 crystals to huge $1000 crystals. They even sell really ancient looking "China" plates, they're authentic and expensive as expected. I love how they sell animal skulls too. This is definitely one of my new favorite stores downtown and I can't wait to go back.

Simple easy purchase. While there, I noticed they also had "lat & long" pillows. Of course, unfortunately, they didn't have my town. I asked the woman if I could order one and have it shipped and her reply ABSOLUTLEY blew me away. "If you give me 15 mins, I can do it now for you". WHAT????? I was able to pick out my colors, my design, my size to complete my pillow. The women STOPPED what they were hand blocking and made me my very own hand picked custom color pillow. (I'm constantly changing decor so I went on the safe side neutral"). I cannot praise these ladies enough! Customer service above and beyond. . And I forgot to mention, the shop has the most incredible hand crafted low country gifts, perfect for the upcoming holiday season for host gifts, I forgot to take pictures of items because I was so excited about MINE. I had found a lovely Dutch oven I had wanted and it was 40% off. Since I didn't have cash to cover the purchase I had them hold it for me as I would come back. They kindly held it until my return. I had this brand of pots before. Greatly quality and made in France. I chose a beautiful Marine Blue to go with my kitchen. They have a beautiful selection of all things Le Creuset. Definitely will be back as the staff here are so nice and helpful. The prices are the lowest anywhere for this brand.
