Came in the evening of Dec 23rd 2025 and was helped by a new rep named Brandon who was in training, along with his trainer James (who is basically a phone wizard). Both of them were patient, knowledgeable, and each took the time to explain everything clearly to me during my eSIM activation after a trip I had taken where my previous SIM card failed. James did a great job coaching without taking over, and Brandon handled things confidently as well. Hands down one of the best in-store Verizon experiences I've had. I've grown so accustomed to being pressure sold phones at typical phone stores in the past, but not here. These guys actually helped me to save money on my bill each month! This isn't your typical lazy/scammy phone store, hence the outstanding reviews in comparison to others in the area. Huge credit to both reps that helped me out. read more

Hit or miss. It seems like they have a large pool of employees and I've had drastically different experiences in the couple times I've been. I almost wrote a review after the first time and probably would've given one star. However, after coming again and working with a different employee, they seemed to know more about the system and how to help me. The first employee I worked with must have worked off commission because he was very uninterested in helping us figure out our plan. I can't remember the last time that I went to sleep furious, and then woke up the next day even madder. I purchased a new iPhone 11 Pro for my wife for Christmas. We're both on the same plan, so instead of just ordering her new phone and risk her getting a notification, ruining the surprise, I went to a store instead. I made it very clear that this was a gift and that I, under no circumstances, wanted my wife to receive a text saying "Congratulations in your new phone." I spent TWO HOURS sitting in this store while THREE people tried to figure out how to make this happen. Low and behold, she was getting text messages the entire time, congratulating her on her new phone. Best Christmas present I have ever given her and these salesmen (not actual Verizon employees) ruined it. But it gets better. I was also eligible to get a new iPad at a very reduced rate, since I was buying a new phone. The deal seemed good, so I bought it. Two days later, I looked at my Verizon account and noticed that somehow, that slimy salesman managed to ADD A NEW LINE TO MY ACCOUNT FOR IT!!!!! That's an extra $50 a month just to have an iPad. I was NEVER told that this would happen, or I would definitely NOT have agreed to buy it. I mean, who the hell would assume that they were going to have a new line of service added to their account FOR AN IPAD!!!!! But wait....it still gets better. Assuming that this is just an epic blunder, I called the store to see what the deal was. Enter: "Bald Chris" The guy that sold me my new phone and iPad was also named Chris. So when someone answered the phone and identified themselves as Chris, I just assumed it was him. I introduced myself and said, "you sold a phone and iPad to me on Saturday". To which he replied, "I don't remember, I sell a lot of phones".....how delightful. He then proceeded to educate me on how there are two Chris's, the one that helped me and then him....."Bald Chris". He was a complete pr*ck about it. So I explained my problem and he basically said, that's just how it is and if I don't like it then I can just bring it back but I'll be charged a $35 restocking fee.....I can feel my anger starting to grow with every word out of his pretentious phone salesman mouth. I reminded him that I was never told that another line would be added, nor did I sign anything (I looked through all my papers and account documents). To which he replied, "Well, the other Chris will be here tomorrow and you can take it up with him." I'm fighting the urge to drive up there and fight this guy at this point. But now the best part. When I asked to speak with a manager, his smug a** replied, "Well, I'm about the closest thing to a manager here." The inmates are literally running the asylum. So I called Verizon and they confirmed that I got taken for a ride. Long story short, I'm returning the damn iPad and filing a corporate complaint. These are just a bunch of grimy salesman, nothing more. Go to an actual Verizon store, unless you want the used car lot experience. read more

My cellphone is an item of necessity, but not something I frequently upgrade. So as my iPhone8 days neared their end, and I drove by Verizon on Folly Rd day after day, I dropped the dogs off at PetSmart for grooming and made my way across the intersection and found myself in the right Verizon store at the right time. Frazier met me and within seconds gave me text book Customer Service on selling me my next iPhone. Although iPhone13 was not in stock in the moment, we went over the financials with my trade in and he said he would give me a call when back in stock. No sooner did noon approach, he called and back I went. Within 30 minutes my settings were transferred from the cloud and I was back in business like nothing had changed. My iPhone13 was fully operational and in sync with the car... and I was good for another 4-5 years. read more

I walked in the door and Joshua met me asking what he could help with. I told him that I wanted the new Google Pixel 3 in the Nearly White color. Then he went to look in the back as they were not even on the floor. Fast forward about 10 minutes and at least three times he was trying to convince me of an iPhone. The last time he asked me why I was not wanting to consider the iPhone and I told him that I was a customer and I did not want an iPhone and I thought I had made that quite plain. I've never been treated that way by the people here at this Verizon store which I always thought was five star rating because of their great service. Not So Much Anymore! I ordered the phone but it was $31 more but he said that it would not be that much as it would charge me less once it came in if it was lower on their website Verizon says it is $899 and not $930. We will see about this one. He did tell me that I was not actually ordering this but it was coming in just in my name and that I could refuse it once it came in. I seriously am thinking about that already. Suffice it to say that no one likes high-pressure sales. After dealing with crappy service at the Sprint store here in town I decided to cancel my contract with them early and move to my wife's plan with Verizon. So before doing so I wanted to visit a store and see what phones they had to offer. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Jeremy who very polite and offered to help us; I never got that kind of service when I went into a Sprint store. He looked up my wife's plan and recommended a new plan for her after I was added that would save us some money over what she was paying for her previous plan; after adding me to her account we are saving over $50 a month on a family plan compared to us each having our own plan. Jeremy asked what type of phone I was looking for and I told him "anything but an iPhone" and he was more than happy to bring out several of their top selling Android phones and explain all the features and pricing on the phones. Finally found a phone I liked and we made the deal and signed the dreaded 2 year agreement required of most cellular services. I'm pretty happy so far with Verizon as their in-store customer service is great and I'm getting a way better signal on the island than I did with Sprint. read more

Spencer is the most helpful person I've run across in a long time. I came into this store late Saturday with a corporate phone that was not working. He gave me a loaner phone, completely on the honor system so I could at least start getting text messages while our company was working with Verizon to everything switched over from our previous cell provider. The following week he spent over 4 hours with technical support and my office to get me up and running. Spencer is the most patient, positive rep I've ever had the pleasure in working with. Avoid this Verizon like the plague. My wife bought me a top of the line iWatch for my Birthday. After making an appointment to go in to activate my watch to my account they were unable to activate it. After 2&1/2 hrs I finally had had enough and told them I wanted to return the watch and remove the watch off my account. Again they screwed thus up as well. I received a call a few days later from them telling me the watch was still showing that it was linked to my number and asked me to go into my account to remove it...which I did. The next week, I received another call from the same store asking for my Apple ID and Password so they would be able to sell the watch to another customer. I refused as this would compromise my security. I have never experienced such poor customer treatment. read more

I had a really good experience when I visited this Verizon store. All the reps were busy when I arrived but I was at least acknowledged and didn't have to wait long. The sales rep was very helpful and very nice. I don't understand all the negative reviews. But being somebody that did not grow up in an upscale/ritzy area like Charleston, there's definitely a type of demographic, if you catch my drift. I find that if you're nice to the person that is helping you and not demand the help, they will be nice to you in return. It's a pretty easy concept! The employees at this store are just really inconsiderate and rude! I went in to upgrade my iPhone tonight and I had a terrible experience. I stated that I did not want to spend the $50 that it would take to get a case there, and that I would get one I liked at a different store and the representative who was "helping me" responded by saying "only idiots don't buy cases". I feel like its horrible customer service experience to call the person you're serving an idiot. He then proceeded to berate me about getting a case for the rest of my time getting a new phone. This morning, I had the pleasure of getting Erica as the sales representative for helping me get a new phone. Erica was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. She took the time to explain my plan, how it is structured, and what that means in terms of my getting a new device. Throughout the time I was in the store, she took the time to review all options, but in a very laid back way. I went in to upgrade my android to an apple and had the pleasure of Shane as my sales person. He was friendly,knowledgeable, and excited to help me with the process. It was a breeze.
