I have been to this Soma location 3 times. It's at the outlets in Bluffton, SC. The staff is very friendly. They are more importantly very helpful. The first time I went in was for a strapless bra. They were having a terrific sale with many items marked down to $9.99. I bought a few maxi dresses with built in bras. The timing was perfect because I was leaving on a cruise a week later. That's why I needed the strapless bra. I went in again Sunday for some new bras. I've lost 80 lbs and don't even know what size I need. So Rita came to the rescue, understood the assignment and fit me with three no wire full coverage bras. The fit is perfect and comfortable!!! While I'm not posting me in a bra. The pics attached are of one of the cute maxis I picked up. So comfortable!!! I love the girls here and how helpful they are... totally recommend!!! read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent customer service that was provided by Susie and her coworker, (sorry I didn't get her name), who could not have been more helpful. I listened to them helping other people while I was trying on, so it was not just me that they were kind to and helpful too. I'm sorry if they got other reviews on yelp that seem incredibly scathing, however, I would suggest anyone who needs a good bra, Don't be discouraged by the alternative reviews. Soma has the most comfortable bras, underwear, and PJs. The lady who fitted my daughter for her first bra fitting was super helpful and nice. A bit expensive, but totally worth the price. read more

Me and my mom walked into soma so i could get fitted for a bra and she could buy one. Upon walking in we were not greeting and ignored so we continued to shop and try on bras with no help. After trying on a few bras i went to put some back up and one the the employees stops me and trying to take the bras from my hands and ask if i'm ready which i was not, she then did the same to my mom which she replied we would come to the counter when ready. My mom went back to try on one more bra and the same employee went on to say that she doesn't want people stealing and rambling under her breath right next to me!!! and when confronted about this she tried saying she was saying she didn't want us to wait in line (THERE WAS ONE OTHER PERSON IN THE STORE)?!!! We left our things on the counter and left. Please don't shop here ladies they're very rude and obviously don't know how to run a store. read more

We were in South Carolina for a wedding and had some time to kill and came to the Tanger Outlet Mall to look around. Not much to say about this shop other than they had some really good, last chance sleep wear at amazing prices. My GF was able to get a couple of items for extremely low prices. The staff was always available for questions and even tried to help us find the right sizes. read more

I always have a great shopping experience when I come to the store. One employee, Mallory, was exceptional. She dealt with my issues of the store being rearranged and me not knowing the name of my style. She took the time and patience to walk me through the store and discuss the type I like. I have been shopping at Soma for a little over a year now. The first few bras I purchased I still have (I know it's not good to hang on to old bras but they're so comfortable even now) and I recently returned in April and bought 3 more at the correct size. One of them had both straps rip, and the other two don't fit correctly. I brought in the ripped one to be exchanged and to find a couple more that fit properly as I don't have many bras and have a hard time finding comfortable, supportive ones. This was possibly the most stressful shopping experience I've ever had in my entire life, let alone a terrible Soma experience compared to previous visits to this and other locations. The sales woman who "helped" me ( I was told her name was DeeDee) was completely uninterested in actually helping me find a bra-most of the time I had to hunt her down to get her to find a bra for me, and when I had questions for her, she either didn't answer or said she would need to ask her manager. It's fine if you don't know something, but ignoring me when I'm trying to talk to you, voicing concerns and trying to figure out why something isn't working for me is a negligent work attitude. I've never felt so unwanted in a store in my life! I was ready to walk out with nothing when my mother stepped in and asked the manager to help (at which point the sales woman who helped me piped up and said she'd given me what I asked for) and then ignored me when I explained (yet again) that I didn't know how to go about sizing up if the straps are too short. She then brought me a few more bras and seemed to be a bit more interested, and then never came back unless my mother asked her for a bra. Now, I understand that it's a business and other people came in, but I should have been helped until I found what I needed. What perplexed me most, other than she just wasn't nice, was that she seemed so put out that she had to help me! Luckily, the manager stepped in at the cash register, with her highly personable attitude and wonderful smile, and saved the day, preforming a return and ringing things up correctly as well. Except for the manager, this experience alone is enough to make me not want to shop at Soma anymore, as well as their tendency to size up their bras, and their recent reduction in bra strap length. read more
