This was my 2nd visit to this t-mobile, and for whatever it's worth, exemplifies why I have…read moreremained a loyal t-mobile customer for over 11 years (the same CANNOT be said for the Oxnard /esplanade location. But, let's keep this happy hakuna matata, shall we?) First time I visited was last Sunday. My old galaxy s3 decided to not let Waze, Yelp or other apps I needed to access for NFL-watching purposes work. So after frustrating the poor tech support svcs rep on the 611 line to the point of bawling, I decided to go to a store in person. (But NOT back to that horrid Oxnard/esplanade location. I think it's a Bank of America masquerading as tmo, their service is justthatbad) so I trekked over to THIS location... Yeah it was crowded. Yeah I had to wait, thereby missing more Sunday NFL. But, was my own fault going there on Sunday. .Maggie drew the short straw, ummm, I mean she got my name as next to be served, and, when I didn't cause her to weep inconsolably at my stoopid 5,213 questions, I decided right then and there I would finally allow evolution to take its course, telliing her I'd be sure to come back to get if/when I decided to upgrade. Well, only took me a week, Maggie was leaving for the day, but recommended I have Fernando help me. Another gentleman assisted me first whilst Fernando saved the world from tyranny and despair for another customer, I do not recall the gentleman's name, but he had long dreads, and well, he was very patient with me, so, yay! Okay Fernando got me 90% setup, Danny batted cleanup, I now am the proud owner of a galaxy S5 that takes waaay better pictures of my cat than I ever even imagined possible, and that's REALLY what a cellphone is for, isn't it? Succinctly, AWESOME customer service, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and, while normally I think dreadlocks don't work on Caucasians, the first friendly tmo guy who assisted me yesterday changed my mind about that. Go Packers! Or, something.

I was a pre-paid wireless customer since 2005. In Sept. T-mobile ended their 2G phone service and…read moredisconnected my phone with NO warning/ message, email or Text. Quite a surprise! I went to the local Store in Ventura and they provided a new 5G TCL Flip4, but I had to buy pre-pay minutes of $100 plus taxes/fees. The phone was OK, but I had NO voicemail or ability to set up voicemail under my old number. That led to 3 weeks of calling their 800 number - almost daily, trying different things. Reps there said that they would call back with updates and that certain "fixes" would require a 72 hour wait. I talked with at least 7 agents there and none of that worked. I finally told them to give me the info needed and just unlock the phone - I would go to ULTRA mobile. OK. ULTRA sent me a SIM card, but setting up did not work as the phone would re-lock. I went back to the local store and they told me that ULTRA doesn't know what they are doing. The phone is fully unlocked, and there is no return as we charged you pre-paid minutes vs. cost of a phone. Went back to ULTRA and installed an e-sim. That was "successful" but the phone re-locked upon completion. T-mobile said, again, that it was not their lock. I still have a phone that is locked and two carriers claiming it is the other Carriers problem/ fault. The T-mobile manager was very condescending, and I personally DON'T believe it is an ULTRA problem, after the second try. They act like their 800 CS support is a different company and they DON'T OWN or work to resolve your problem. RUN - DON'T WALK to another provider!! This is an unresolved nightmare, and I am out $118 bucks because of it, plus all the money in my old pre-pay phone minutes that they ATE! HORRIBLE COMPANY - HORRIBLE SUPPORT = HORRIBLE experience!!!! They provide a new Phone, but after 14 days you can't return it, and they won't rebate any pre-paid minutes anyway. It's a LOSE-LOSE SCAM. Go elsewhere, or get ripped off!

The staff we interacted with have been wonderful. Even when we came in without an appointment, the…read moremanager greeted us within minutes and started the process while we waited for the sales person we had come to see. When our sales person was busy, another sales person came to help switch our data from old to new phones. Everyone was pleasant, helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. I guess practice makes perfect, because their fingers flew across the screen and got more done in minutes than we'ld been able to do in hours. This store is a great place to upgrade your phone and get specialized and personalized service.

The other day, I stopped by the nearby AT&T as an AT&T customer and was immediately shouted at by…read morethe rudest employee ever, Justin, the ASSISTANT MANAGER. Many of you may not know this, but when an AT&T customer is eligible for Fiber and doesn't sign up, it can affect the store's sales metrics, which is why employees can be very unwilling to help you if you don't have it. I had previously signed up for Fiber, but it didn't work out, so it still shows on their system that I don't have it. Apparently, that was enough for Justin to decide I wasn't worth helping. Before I could even explain why I was there, he shouted at me in front of other customers, "Go. I'm not helping you. No one is going to help you. Call customer service or go to the mall location!" I'm sorry, but when did it become acceptable to treat an AT&T customer like dirt because they didn't sign up for a service? And this isn't the first time I've seen Justin treat people this way. I've seen him mock customers behind their backs, talk down to people, and make promises just to get a sale, only to hand them off to someone else when things don't work out. He clearly has no respect for the people he is supposed to be helping, and for someone in a management position, that is absolutely unacceptable. What makes this even more ridiculous is that if he had simply let me speak, he would have known I was actually planning to add two lines to my account and was even considering giving Fiber another chance. Instead, he told me to leave before I was even called over from the list. I can't believe they haven't fired him. Being an ASSISTANT MANAGER does not give you the right to treat people this way. Completely unprofessional. Someone who treats customers this poorly has no business being in a position where they are supposed to represent the company or lead other employees.
