I definitely recommend supporting our local retailers during this time. The store was clean and had tape on the floor for social distancing. The employees wore masks. If we hadn't gone into the store, we would not have learned about upgrades going on at this time (e.g. LG paid off the balance of my phone). I repeatedly asked Ethan for the price on items and was told that it needed to be looked up, and left the conclusion of the transaction to my husband. I had to return the phone after 2 days because it would not hold a charge. I received an exchange but lost the cost of my screen protector. and told they would only give me credit for $21.00 on the adaptor, even though the discount should have applied only to the other 3 accessories that I purchased. When I asked the guy in the store, he immediately said they didn't do repairs. He took the phone from me, took one brief look, and said I needed a new phone, and they had phones that took much better photos than my Samsung Galaxy S22. I looked at him and told him I wasn't buying a new phone from him, and walked out. The guys I used to speak to about minor problems were always very helpful, but all this guy wanted to do was sell a senior citizen a new phone when I didn't need one. About 10-15 days ago we got an unexpected package in the mall with new spectrum router and modem equipment . The directions assumed we would install the new Spectrum equipment ourselves. Oh yeah ! What happened to the techs? . A relative who specialized in computers for the Medical system and my husband spent more than 2 hours installing your simple instruction equipment - NOT!! They had to call the spectrum tech as well. From our perspective we should have been offered a reduction in our billing- something you should consider in the future. Furthermore you seem so specific about the returned equipment to an office to make sure every part was there, but did not consider the fallout of many who may have left for vacations or worse yet gone for the season. Spectrum needs to return to the service business it was. This modern day tech service company either went to sleep at the wheel or just hired new management when they decided to change their equipment. Either way, Spectrum missed their mark badly!

One last thing. During an outage they will tell your their technicians can't help you. That's right. I spent 4 hours today helping my hearing-impaired boyfriend switch service to Mint Mobile. Four phone calls were made. 4 codes were sent that didn't work. I finally got the code to work taking me to the last step of setup. Wouldn't you know it? I was unable to unlock the SIM card. I called for help and was told that he couldn't transfer from Boost for another month. Apparently, the new phone he bought from Boost recently has a promotion on it. This is the reason we can't transfer. It sounds like a made up story to me. I checked on the boost website and looked at his phone listed on there and read the fine print. There was no mention about being locked in on anything. Also, this promotion issue was not mentioned on any of the previous 4 customer service phone calls. Long story short, he is without a phone right now and we don't know for how long. My boyfriend owns a small business and he will lose income from this debacle. Boost Mobile are CROOKS. The conversation went along the lines of "nigger nigger, nigger, nobody better call me a nigger, the days of 'the customer is always right' are long over" and "I'm from California, home of the Bloods and Crips", and "my dad was a marine, he taught me never to hit a woman, but if she thinks she's got a big dick like a man, you can lay her out." So finally I'm up in line, and he wants my pin number. I tell him I don't know what it is, and he shuts down there. No help going forward. He wants me to pick a phone, I ask him which is better, he says it's personal preference. He wants me to pick a case, I ask how much they are, and he gives me a range of $35-80 or something like that, and doesn't tell me how much any product is.. He hands me my phone and I walk out.. I realize that I now have 2 phones that don't work. I walk back in. I ask how to get my contact list to the new phone.. He tells me to sign into gmail, every phone has one. I ask him where it is on this phone. No help. I ask for his district managers number, he won't give it to me. I walk out and I hear him call me an asshole, so I say "fuck you." He LITTERALLY RAN OUT OF THE STORE TO CHASE ME DOWN THE STREET and tried to start a fight with me in the street.
