My SPECTRUM wireless internet service is still totally unreliable, booting me out between (just in…read morethe last 10 days) between 14 and 30 times a day. This includes both televisions, my laptop, and even occasionally my iPhone. There is no rhyme or reason, it just happens, and while I am typically able to reconnect, that's not the service I'm paying for, which I am contractually required to acquire through my apartment property owner, as though it's a rent obligation. That itself is anti-competitive. Obviously I am not recieving anything close to SPECTRUM's promised, advertised, and contracted for 1GB service, which I have confirmed using SPECTRUM's own app. I believe on information and evidence that the reason for the constant outages is that SPECTRUM puts far too many nodes on the system, and then when a larger number of users are tapping bandwidth, it's insufficient to support the load. This is tantamount to communications FRAUD, in my view. I am filing a formal FCC complaint and another complaint with the Ohio Department of Commerce, Video Service Authorization Section. I hope there's a reasonable alterative to SPECTRUM, the most unreliable service I have ever had the displeasure to use. I would strongly suggest that you not purchase anything from this store. My wife and I went in…read moreduring the holiday season special, which included credits for free Iphone 13's if we signed up for their highest level plan and turned our old phones in. I gave the store mine that day. I received a new phone (my wife's was on backorder so she sent it in after she received her new one). We were told not to worry about the first bill, because all credits would get applied the second or third billing cycle once they received my wife's phone. This is when thing go down hill. Three billing cycles later, and after calling T-mobile, our bill for two phones/lines remained at $234 a month. We were promised multiple discounts from this store they could not follow through on. We were being charged almost $40 a month for "equipment costs". T-mobile customer service advised me to go back into this store to get it worked out but the guy working kept saying "we can't do anything". He couldn't take off the $40 worth of equipment costs (equipment being our new phones) and he couldn't take off the $42 in protection plans. When I said I wanted to return everything, he told me we can't because it's been longer than 14 days (above I was told to wait 2 or 3 billing cycles for all credits to get applied). He couldn't help in any way. When I started getting upset, he kept saying "all I am trying to do is help". We received very little of what they committed to. Bait and switch at this location. Promises with no follow through. Get them sold and get them out. I had to spend an hour on the phone with T-mobile customer service to get what I was promised. I will never go into this store again...I would advise you find another T-mobile location.

So disappointed in this small business because I really wanted to have a good experience with them…read morebut sadly I didn't. My experience started off promising but went downhill from there. I took in my Apple MacBook Pro with a cracked screen. A blind man could clearly see the screen was cracked so no issue there. Fast forward three days later and they do not have the part, do not have the ability to get the part and can't fix the laptop. Fine, I'll come pick it up. They want to charge me a $75 diagnostic fee for something they DID NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO FIX! Even the receipt says $0 diagnostic fee! I attached my receipt where it clearly says $0 so how they believe that I am going to let them get away with cheating me out of $75 is baffling. They bait you in with a guaranteed repair and when they can't deliver by no fault of yours they try to keep $75. He offered to reduce it to.$50. Um $50 for what sir? You lied and then did nothing. $50 for a lie, is that how much lies cost now? I'm disputing the charge with my bank and don't buy into whatever response this company makes regarding my review. They scammed me so they have to try to save face but believe nothing they say. RUN RUN FAR AWAY from Tech Fix or your hard earned money and your vulnerabilities will be taken advantage of.
