I had Boost Mobile and made the mistake of putting it on automatic renew with a credit card (it saved me $5 a month and gave me extra data)...MONTHS after I CANCELLED my service they charged my card for someone elses account, and then told me that I was SOL because I no longer had an account and they couldn't trace my charge. They were flat out rude, disrespectful, and had complete disregard for the fact that they were stealing money from me. They actually had the audacity to ask me how I even noticed the charge to my card (Ummm...I receive a text message for every charge on that card)..the issue is still not resolved and may take weeks for my bank to resolve.

Let's see if he responds to my email requesting the $200 back. ------ Came into this Verizon Authorized Retailer Store today to upgrade my wife's phone and sales rep Alpha told me the trade-in value on her current phone was $220 with keeping our same data plan - the 2GB data plan. We had a very long conversation comparing my grandfathered 2GB data plan versus the lowest unlimited plan, and it would have been $56 more per month than my current plan. So it was very clear we were staying on our same 2GB data plan. I asked what promotions we have to upgrade the phone on our current plan, and Alpha said while there aren't any promotions, the trade-in value on the phone was $220. So my wife signed some digital paperwork, Alpha started setting up the new phone and transferring over data, and when it came down to sign the final digital paperwork, he informed us he could only give us $20 for the trade-in phone. We had already been in there for probably an hour and a half and when I asked him to stick by what he told us, by the deal that we made for $220 for the trade-in, he refused, and then he called his manager Brett and Brett refused as well. And then supervisor Melissa and rep Christina at Verizon customer service refuse to honor the deal that Alpha made as well. This isn't the first time this has happened. The Polaris Verizon store previously refused to honor an offer I had in writing. I would not recommend going to this Verizon store because they're going to give you misinformation and then refuse to stand behind the deal that they make with you until you're already far down the line, and then change the deal on you after you've already signed some paperwork. Shame on Alpha, Shame on Brett, and Shame on Verizon overall for failing to stand by the deal Alpha made and for failing to make this situation right with a long time Verizon customer.

My phone died, it was time to get a new one anyways. So I came here, where I usually come for phones, where I picked Virgin Mobile for a no-contract carrier years ago. Problem: they don't carry Virgin Mobile any more. The company, Sprint, decided to place VM in big box stores exclusively, defeating the very purpose I selected it--for stores like this. Instead I went to that toxic, national embarrassment known as Wal Mart, and predictably hilarity ensued--I couldn't authorize the phone--so I came here a second time, resolved on switching over to Sprint's other no-contract company, Boost. For the second time I was peeved at the place. But it wasn't their fought. Because Virgin and Booth are the same company, if I was to keep my number I couldn't have the sale price. About this time my Irish temper was about to explode. Nicely, the clerk here, did me a solid. He took my phone and called his contacts to find the problem. This became a ordeal, and he did it with out no payment or possible sale at all. Meanwhile he was helping customers, taking phone calls, and juggling phones. Eventually he discovered the problem which was that I was boned. Wal Mart did something wrong, and it would take a total redo of my account, loss of credit in it, and another phone number. No thanks. But doing what the clerk did is why I love this place. There was no reward for this kind of help, but he did it anyways. Five stars. I am thinking of just paying full price, or going with another number to switch over because of great service like this.

Today, Mom needed a new phone, and Sweetie recommended this location. It's pretty new, though this mall has been here for a couple of years now so I'm surprised this hasn't been reviewed yet. But, she recommended it because it's not busy, so that kinda makes sense. We got excellent service, and friendly attitudes for an older user and a bored toddler. Lots of recommendations for what to do nearby (distractions, and food.) News on area businesses (the closed bagel shop, the old Russian deli, the much-missed bookstore.) Prices seemed reasonable (for cell stuff.) No hard sell; she got what she wanted. I'll keep this in mind for accessories and maybe new phones. Still best to go to corporate stores for technical issues, I think, though these guys could at least do some triage and point you in the right direction.

Went to Batteries plus on Cemetery Rd in Hilliard as walk in for a bad iPhone port connectivity. I…read morethought I would need to get a replacement port. Seen immediately and the lady said let's try cleaning it first. She did this and phone worked well. Fixed!! No charge for her service. Very pleasant and efficient establishment. Have been there before for car battery and multiple other tasks. Each time my experience has been excellent. Would highly recommend and will be back for future issues.
