    Steak fried rice bowl
    Frank B.

I arrived full, and came in simply for a Happy hour bite and a cocktail. At Kevin's suggestion I ordered the steak and rice bowl for $22.00. SO amazing that I only took home 1/8 of it. For dessert, I had Christi's amazing espresso martini. I love the ambiance here as well as the attentive service! KEVIN is a veteran who is leading/ training his future replacements phenomenally.

We came here for a second visit. This is going to be a regular spot on our vacations together. It is slow paced and we enjoy it. The food is delicious and Ian our server was incredible You get to sit back relax and watch dolphins. Amazing linens and perfect tableware.

The food was amazing. Beautiful service. You get complimentary bread. Wine was delicious. Server was super nice. The views was beautiful as well.

    Lobster- NY Strip special

Fantastic food and attentive service with a beautiful view of the bay. The lobster and NY strip special was outstanding, and the regular menu offers plenty of excellent options as well. Ty Ernst is a gracious host, and our server Payton provided top-notch service. We've dined here many times--both in small and larger groups--and the food, hospitality, and overall experience are consistently exceptional. Highly recommended. Don't skip the Voss artesian water (still or sparkling, served in glass bottles)--it's a nice touch that elevates the meal.

    Lobster, Waygu steak, shrimp risotto.

Beautiful location, but ambiance and meal not up to hype Maybe it's how they do their waygu steak and it comes like a hamburger slice. Maybe it's because Hurricane Ian was just a couple months ago, so the ceiling is falling apart in places. It was definitely because we expected a type of service and quality food and didn't really get it. The shrimp risotto was overly salty - likely because it was doused in cheese. We notified our server only to see it still appear on our tab at the end. I will say the seafood trio I ordered was good and the waygu steak still had its delicacy notes. I would not go here again for a date night. Good, but not worth our time.

Be careful where you sit when ordering a dinner special!! While the food was very good, we had an embarrassing experience with the waiter. Clearly the advertised special, pictured below, indicates that it's offered in both the dining room and lounge. Many of their specials are 'lounge only' but this one is not. We were seated in the dining room and tried to order the half-rack of ribs for $18. Our waiter told us that we had to order the full rack in the dining room or move to the lounge. Even after showing him the email we received about the special, he wouldn't budge. Well the lounge was full, so he literally moved us to the other side of the dining room, maybe 15 feet from our original table. Somehow at this table it was fine to order the half-rack. Not a great way to treat guests. An embarrassing experience especially with taking my parents there for the first time.

    Do they offer outdoor dining?

There is an open air atrium off the bar which provides a great view of the restaurant and the bay. I believe there are plans to expand the restaurant, but held up by permitting procedure last I heard.

It had ceiling fans and a nice view of Naples Players Theater Plaza. Service was prompt & attentive, but never rushed. Marija offered great recommendations that worked well together. For apps we had the Hamachi Crudo with pickled mango and seaweed salad, as well as the Spicy Tuna Roll, which had just enough kick. Both were as authentic as anything we've had in Japan. For main course my wife enjoyed the halibut special. One thing I liked is that Marija quoted us the price wihout asking: right in in line with the other entrees and no worrying about 'sticker shock' check surprises at end of the meal. I had the pork chop, where getting it tender challenges many chefs. This one delivered: Perfectly done and seasoned just right. It doesn't come with vegetables so Marija suggested a half side of miso-chili broccoli, which was a great pairing. As we came in I noticed a lot of diners leaving with leftovers: portions were generous and we did same. For dessert, diners at next table raved about their giant 10 layer carrot cake. Marija offered me an off-the-menu 5-layer option that hit the spot. My wife had the flourless dark chocolate torte and ended up taking half home with us- it was very generous and really delicious. Bill was accurate and you pay at table on handheld terminals- no handing over your card and waiting. One of the more expensive restaurants we've eaten at here, but worth every dollar. It was a wonderful experience and we'll be back.

Everything about it from entering the grounds of The Ritz, walking through the hotel lobby, to being greeted at the host/hostess station elevated an experience that by the end of the meal can be summed up in the word Magnifique! Upon reaching the host/hostess station, we were efficiently greeted and brought to our table walking through a beautiful dining room with a piano player to boot reminiscent of the great restaurants of the '70's and '80's. Whisked to our table to a romantic table for two with a full view of the dining room a la Forge Miami Beach 1980. We were told that The Grill has been operational for 40 years and is the best performing restaurant within Marriott's portfolio and the only remaining Grill. Our server who was outstanding had been here for 29 years. He explained to a T the specials and was both professional and friendly what you would expect at a 5 star restaurant. We started by selecting our bottle of wine a reasonably priced Pride Cab that was not heavily marked up. The wine list was extensive with a wide range of wines priced many priced reasonably and providing good value all the way up to top end Screaming Eagle. We elected to start with a great Caesar salad and followed up with two bone-in steaks, one being the 22 oz. bone-in ribeye for $98 and a 22 oz. bone in filet mignon special at $142 that our server described as being 14 oz. of meat and boy was it huge! The bone-in ribeye was cooked perfectly and delicious and the filet was soft as butter and very very good. We had fantastic Cajun spiced steak fries and great broccolini. For dessert we finished up with two souffles that are personal sized, one being a chocolate souffle with chocolate sauce and in asking for sabayon - they advised that while they could not they would bring out creme anglaise. The cookies n cream souffle was even better and delectable! Service was off the chart polished, unrushed and absolutely great. All in all the experience was beyond 5 stars. A truly unique restaurant standing the test of time and without a doubt the best steakhouse and best restaurant that we have eaten at in the State of Florida. (And yes we have been to all the "supposed" greats in Miami and Bern's too). And quite frankly I would put this at the top of its class within the U.S.

From the moment we walked in, the hostesses and manager made us feel welcome and had us seated right away. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. He walked us through the menu, explained how many of the dishes were prepared, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. The wine list paired nicely with the meal as well. Watching the sunset over the water while listening to music drifting across the park made the evening even more memorable. Our server was also the bartender (Jordan) who was extremely welcoming and super friendly. We told her it was our first time there and she gave us the rundown about the menu and some of the local favorites. We got a coconut shrimp appetizer which was delicious and my blackened grouper Caesar salad was beyond divine. I'm so glad I went with that fish option over the mahi. The grouper was extremely fresh, and the portion size was huge! My husband ordered the mahi-mahi Neuben (I.e. Ruben) which he said was surprisingly good! We also tried a few of the signature cocktails, which to my surprise came in tiki glasses! I absolutely love when a drink comes in fun glassware! Our experience at lunch was so great that we raved about it to our family. Which resulted in us coming back the very next day, but for dinner. We had 24 people in our party! I don't think that we would've been able to do this during peak season so if you're looking to bring a large group, definitely go off - season! Our server for the 24 person dinner with Sam and she was also beyond wonderful! She was our only server and somehow managed to wrangle a table full of chatty adults and six children! Kudos to her! Everything we ordered came out amazing! I absolutely loved the Maine Lobster Salad! Came with a huge portion of lobster, which, for the price was really great! The restaurant has an absolutely wonderful ambience and we were so impressed with the experience, the staff and the food considering this was our first time visiting. They're a bit tucked away inside of a private resort, but since they're open till the public, they do have appropriate signage for the location and it's pretty easy to find. Overall, both dining experiences were absolutely wonderful and I beyond recommend visiting Hogfish Harry's if you're ever in the Naples area. 10/10 recommend!
