I arrived around 1pm on a rainy August day, and on-street parking was readily available nearby. The atmosphere was maritime cafe. You order at a window near the front door and then pick a table or, if available, padded chair. With a beverage, it'd be possible to get a couple of hours of work done. I ordered the vegan crabcake. It came with a small, fresh side salad with homemade dressing. The sandwish was filling and tasty. The crabmeat substitute was made of jackfruit and included the appropriate spices and toppings. I'd definitely hang there next time I'm in Annapolis. I would plan to arrive in the morning to sample the intriguing breakfast items.

Their breakfast sandwiches are also delicious and made with really good-quality ingredients. We tried the egg, bacon, and avocado sandwich, and it was very tasty. They also have vegan and gluten-free, allergy-conscious cookies, which is a great option for those with dietary restrictions. In many of the sandwiches, you can substitute the regular cheese with vegan cheese, making it easy to customize your meal. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor area right by the water. The outdoor seating area is well maintained and clean, and the bathroom was also very clean. Overall, the food is tasty, there are plenty of options for different dietary needs, and the waterfront seating is a nice bonus. Highly recommend checking this place out!

This is a great little restaurant right on the water at the north end of Chesapeake beach…read more We met some friends there for dinner last night. The restaurant is part of the Herrington Harbor complex. It's a neat waterfront property with some tables overlooking the harbor. Although it was very cold outside, the restaurant was warm and inviting. Our table was ready right on time for our reservation. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. We started with fried pickles and crab dip. The fried pickles were very thick, which made them unique. The crust seemed to be cornmeal based, and was extra crispy. The crab dip was very cheesy. It was delicious, but I wish it had a little more crab. My wife had the meatloaf. Tasty, plenty of beef, and a different take on meatloaf. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was excellent. Crispy and saucy at the same time. The grilled cheese and crab soup looked good - I'll add them to my must try list. Service, food, ambiance were all top notch. Get out of the city, and drive til you hear waves for a great dining experience!

When we pulled into the parking lot, it was completely packed, which worried me since I didn't think we'd need a reservation before 5 p.m. To my surprise, when we walked in the restaurant was only partially filled, and the bar area was empty, so we took seats there so we could also watch the college football games that were on the tvs. The bartender explained that she had noticed the same thing when she arrived -- the lot was full, but it turned out there was a wedding reception scheduled next door later in the evening. We already knew what we wanted before we left home: the pork tacos, which are a favorite of ours. My wife ordered hers with cucumber salad, while I went with the fresh-cut fries. Both dishes came out just as good as always -- flavorful, fresh, and consistent. Between the quality of the food, the relaxed atmosphere, and even some live music outside, it made for another enjoyable visit. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered the crab pot pie, heritage burger, risotto balls and a small portion of the short ribs. Pot pie crust was great but a bit on the salty side. The burger was cooked well and beef tasted very fresh. Our favorite was the risotto balls and short ribs. The risotto was crispy, a bit cheesy and paired with a really solid marinara sauce. The short ribs were cooked perfectly, melted in the mouth and paired with mashed potatoes. Service was a bit slow since they were really busy but the waiter apologized for the wait and checked in several times throughout the night. Overall a really great dinner spot that I would recommend!

I had a wedge salad with a crab cake for dinner. Their crab cakes are really good and I am a very discerning crab cake eater - my husband says I'm a crab cake snob :). The dessert was outstanding, they call it apple smash cake. An apple pie a la mode, yummmmm! Oue server Kitty was extremely professional and customer service savvy, and Dave, one of the co-owners came out to greet us on our 31st anniversary. High class joint in the best sense of the word!
