Cream of crab, potato salad, and coleslaw sides

First time trying this place, great service from waitstaff. Super friendly and knowledgeable! We had helpful suggestions on the menu which really helped narrow down our decisions. We started with a fried green beans appetizer which was insanely good. Best part of the meal! It came with ranch dipping sauce, but we loved adding the sauces on the table to it. They offered mild, hot, and sweet BBQ sauces. I suggest the sweet cuz you can really taste the brown sugar. We both took the waitress' suggestion for the beef brisket sandwich on texas toast. Bread was crispy and held up nicely. We added alot to the sandwich including coleslaw and BBQ sauce. After lunch, we ordered ice cream for dessert. This was our second favorite thing we ate! Peanut butter pie with extra Reese pb cup topping, yum! All in all, we would come back for the service and probably for the abundance options if appetizers. Jake n kev

I have to knock the rating down a star due to the current state of the wait staff. The quality of the food remains top knotch, 5 star (see previous reviews), but the servers as of late are hit or miss, ranging from 2 star to 4. We continue to stop here for lunch on our monthly trips to VA, but it now is with a little trepidation.

This place doesn't hold a candle to Texas Ribs And barbecue in Clinton Maryland. I ordered the ribs that were over cooked and tough and I don't even know what kind of ribs they were cause they look different than a ribs I've ever eaten before my friend had the brisket it was dry and he didn't even finish it and he loves the brisket. The coleslaw was not even close to being as good as the Texas Ribs And Clinton, Maryland, and the french fries came to the table cold. It was a real disappointment and definitely not worth the time or the money.

    Brisket and seeet potatoe fries

Service and atmosphere is great. I got brisket and sweet potato fries. As in picture the fries were burnt ( should have never left the kitchen and given to a customer). The brisket was very tough, I had to use a knife to cut. No smoke flavor at all. The ribs were pretty good and the fried pickles were good.

Excellent cream of crab and I've tried a lot! Nice hunks of crab.

Odd to be called Texas BBQ with no brisket on the menu. Food was okay but it is not a "must go" by any means.

Less than a mile away, I walked in and saw that it was a nicely designed and classy restaurant with a bar room that was separate from the main dining area. Decided on their 2-eggs breakfast with some coffee and an appetizer of Brussels sprouts. All very good, although the biscuit that came was a little too overcooked and hard to my liking. But everything else was delicious and the sprouts were a nice way to start my meal. Although I was full, I heard their carrot cake was good. I decided to get it to go. Glad I did because the slice was enormous. A few days later I'm still snacking on that same slice. Overall, lovely place to get breakfast, especially if the diner nearby is too crowded. Beautiful interior and great service sealed the deal.

We completely understand that restaurants get busy -- especially on weekends -- but being essentially turned away because it was "too busy" was unacceptable. There was no real attempt to accommodate us, no clear communication about realistic wait times, and no effort to make us feel valued as customers. For a place that markets itself as family-friendly and big on hospitality, this experience fell far short. This wasn't just a random dinner -- it was my toddler's birthday. We chose this restaurant expecting a welcoming atmosphere and a memorable experience for our family. Instead, we left feeling frustrated, inconvenienced, and honestly embarrassed after building up the excitement for him. Busy is understandable. Poor guest management and lack of care -- especially when a young child's birthday is involved -- is not. I truly hope ownership and management take situations like this seriously. Families choose your establishment for special occasions, and how situations like this are handled speaks volumes. Highly dissatisfied with this experience.

From the moment you walk in, it feels like a welcoming neighborhood spot where the focus is simple: good food, good service, and a comfortable dining experience. My partner and I brought my aunt here for their first meeting, and it turned into one of those meals where everyone at the table was genuinely impressed and satisfied. The taste of the food is consistently great. Everything we ordered came out well seasoned, fresh, and hot. The menu has that comforting American grill feel with enough variety that everyone can find something they enjoy. One of the things that stands out based on other reviews as well is how consistently well-prepared the food is, especially for a local spot that is not trying to be overly complicated. People often mention that the kitchen delivers flavorful meals without unnecessary flair, and that really shows in every bite. The service is another strong point. Our experience matched what many other guests say, which is that the staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcomed from start to finish. Even during busy times, the service stays efficient and respectful, which adds to the overall comfort of the experience. It felt like we were being taken care of without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is also worth noting. Prime Street Grille has a relaxed, casual, and comfortable vibe that makes it perfect for family dinners, casual date nights, or even introducing loved ones to each other for the first time, like we did. Other reviews often highlight how clean, inviting, and easygoing the environment is, which makes it a great place to actually sit down and enjoy a meal without distraction. Overall, Prime Street Grille is a true hidden gem in Waldorf. Between the great tasting food, consistent service, and welcoming atmosphere, it is the kind of place you are happy to discover and even happier to return to. It delivered a great experience for my partner, my aunt, and me, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable local restaurant.

Today I finally visited and was a bit disappointed to see the underwhelming interior where it is strictly carry out and cheap metal guest chairs to wait on while the food is prepared. But it's really about the food right?! Meh. It was very hit and miss. I ordered the (4) sliders with grilled onions. They were slightly charred which was nice, and they were juicy, but they could have been cooked a little more (they were like medium to medium well and I prefer well done - I should note they didn't ask how I preferred my burgers cooked). I also ordered their jumbo fried wings and picked sweet and sassy sauce. The sauce was tasty and the wings had a nice texture, but beyond the sauce the wings had a plain flavor suggesting they didn't season the wings before frying and then coating them with sauce. Overall the food was solid but not awe inspiring. I was less impressed with their cakes. I ordered a strawberry slice and a carrot cake. The carrot cake was moist and wasn't bad at all. I've had much better, but it was edible and satisfied my sweet tooth for the day. The strawberry cake however was dry and grainy. Perhaps it was old. It was definitely a waste of $7.99! On the plus side the employee was friendly and nice, so there's that!
