I kept it classic with waffles, bacon, and eggs--and it absolutely hit the mark. The waffles were light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out fresh and satisfying. Simple comfort food done right. But what really elevated the experience was the atmosphere. They had live musical entertainment by Louie, who was incredible. He played a mix of hits from yesterday and today, moving effortlessly between country & western, contemporary favorites, and traditional Spanish songs. His versatility created a warm, lively environment that both staff and customers clearly enjoyed--it added something special you don't find everywhere. Service was just as impressive. Our server, XAY, had a bright, welcoming smile and provided outstanding service from start to finish. They offered great suggestions on local favorites and specials, which made the experience feel personal rather than routine. The vibe overall is relaxed, inviting, and very "El Paso"--a place where you can sit, enjoy your meal, and stay a while. Overall: Delicious, well-executed brunch classics Live music that enhances the experience (not overwhelms it) Exceptional, friendly service Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere Would I go back? Without a doubt. This is more than just brunch--it's an experience.

I arrived just after 8:30 am, but there was plenty of room. I got seated at the bar, and got to see everything. I asked for coffee, and it came quick and hot. Then i took a look at the menu, but the nice thing about the bar is that you can see everything that was ordered get prepped. I ordered a pozole rojo. It was a good choice, according to me... it was a lot of food. It came with a slice of toasted and buttered bolillo bread. It was loaded with more pork, than hominy - a lot. The server came by to ask if I needed a box. The Junction is a diner, with a railroad ambiance. Plenty of train station themes, I think there were a lot of clocks on the wall - but I don't think that they were working... or that they were on time. I noticed a couple of plates that I would want to try... the chicken fried steak, the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on top, peach cobber side, the fresh biscuit with chipotle butter. It all looked good. The breakfast tacos seemed basic, but a lot of folks ordered them - they must know. There is seating inside, table and bar, and outside under the shade. I saw enough that I would return with Liz (...and the kids). I recommend, but I do recommend getting there early. It's a popular locale.

We were sat first table on the left as you walk in. What a sore eye to see the utensils in crates covered by what appeared as a cloth napkin. Maybe a simple sturdy rack?? On to the food, nothing to rave about! The pesto chicken and the children's chicken tenders were ok-ish. The waffle churro was very good though why put sunflower seeds on it when it already has pecans. In my opinion, I thought it was an odd and unnecessary add-on. The server was nice though she did looked frazzled. The floors could use some TLC, they look dull and dusty. Overall it is mediocre and highly likely we will not be returning to this restaurant. There is plenty of parking and just in case it is kid friendly.

Absolutely loved the bar and hanging pots everywhere. Such a clean restaurant and cute vibe. Our waitress was very nice and friendly to us. So no issues there! For drinks I got their berry lemonade which tasted just like lemon juice. I had to request for sugar to be added since it was so sour so beware. My food had came out and to be honest I'm just a little bit disappointed. The rigatoni was cooked but the sauce for it was really not tasty? Like there was almost not a flavor I can taste. Of course there was something but it was very plain and barely even there. It also was not spicy whatsoever. I added grilled chicken too and oh boy was that dry dry DRY. The burrata personally I'm not a fan in general so of course I wouldn't be a fan this time either but they gave a nice little plate full of it. They added some oiled toasted bread and it was way too crispy in my opinion. My partner got the chicken Parmesan and his dish tasted great! Very juicy chicken and cooked all the way. The sauce was perfect too nice and flavorful and great pairing with the chicken. His butter noodles were just like regular butter noodles so not bad. Finally the crème brûlée. Probably the most disappointing dish we ordered. It took repeated stabs to break the sugar glaze on top. Me and my partner were honestly thinking that they added the cream on top to hide how burnt it was actually. Unfortunately because the glaze was so thick and burnt it made the rest of the cream taste have the burnt flavor. It was sad because my partner was looking forward to this desert. Also took wayyy longer to arrive than our entrées. I will say that the waitress was very helpful and she actually covered the crème Brulé. I didn't even ask she just offered, I think she could tell that we didn't enjoy it and I had nicely told her it wasn't what we were expecting so thank you sincerely. Overall I think this is a perfect spot to maybe try drinks and hang with friends. Food was okay, wouldn't try it again in that regard but overall a decent spot here in El Paso if you're looking for something new. Maybe best to ask what's their best dish to serve. Overall thank you.

I saw some pictures of a new brunch place in the Far East off Zaragoza, and it looked good. It's hidden in the back next to Sky Zone and across the street from Oasis Lanes, so finding it was a little hard. When I walked in I didn't realize it was so small because I had convinced some of the girls to come to try it out with me from the Peachlab workouts. They wanted to come out to celebrate Nurse B's birthday as well as mine because that's the type of supportive community they are, but most are vegan, so I try to find places that have vegan food alongside others so that we can dine together as a group. When I saw that Boca Brava had vegan tacos on the menu, I was really excited. What I didn't know was that on Sundays they only have a Sunday Brunch menu and it doesn't have the regular items. The vegan tacos $3 each consisted of mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions (grilled and pickled), my friends enjoyed it with a variety of salsas. Luckily for us, our waitress was amazing and she got the staff to make us some vegan tacos. They were beyond accommodating and I appreciate that. Because they obviously were in a rush to make items that weren't on the menu that day, the tacos didn't come out perfectly and they're willing to redo it and also not charge us for it. My breakfast plate of 2 eggs, hashbrowns, one bacon slice, and 3 corn pancakes (with slightly spicy maple syrup) was $15. Mimosas were $3. My hashbrowns were really greasy, but the over-easy eggs and crispy bacon were cooked perfectly. The best part was the corn pancakes, I don't think I've had a lighter pancake but with substance. It wasn't doughy which is usually why I avoid pancakes, but crispy and light, probably because of the cornmeal. It was delicious. My other friend ordered chilaquiles and said that it was delicious and not mushy. We also ended up getting 2 free chocolate cakes because they overheard us saying that it was our birthday. Our waitress even took our picture, but I got cropped out, lol, my bad I didn't check the pictures until I got home. For a new place willing to admit they can be better and put the customers first, I really think they'll do well. It's refreshing and it'll bring back repeat customers. If I lived in the far East this would be one of my regular places. Boca brava (915) 219-8700 1691 N Zaragoza Rd STE 5, El Paso, TX 79936 https://maps.app.goo.gl/exW9sS3pcPrAvNzZ6
