One of our favorite restaurants and close to home! We have tried a lot of the food and it's all good, they always have something new going on. The drinks from the bar are amazing they have a great selection of tequila and mezcal and bartender ready to bring all together for a really good drink. Probably the best brunch we've ever had! First of all get to know James...interesting stories and we took everyone of his food recommendations. The steak/eggs combo (starts with a C) was a-mazing. The French toast will set you free. And my son got a chorizo and bacon breakfast burrito (he's super picky and said it was the best he's ever eaten). They put his poblano sauce on the side we all got to enjoy it and it was so great on everything I'd probably buy it by the jar. Definitely give them a shot for brunch. Our group goes there every Tuesday and we are treated simultaneously like royalty and their relief for the remainder of their shifts (and we're late). Last night, my family came over and we ordered over $100 worth of food to go from TBD Kitchen. We have dined in for brunch, but we've never had their dinner. We were so happy with the food and the service! Andrew was very helpful, even when it came to fixing the order since we were missing items. We ordered four different types of street tacos - beef (steak), chicken, shrimp and ground beef, guac, queso, beef enchiladas, rice, and a kids quesadillas. We ordered from here tonight via UberEats. The "Tortilla Soup" was warm water with what might have been cucumbers in it. We threw it away. The salsa was LITERALLY some tomato paste with water added. We threw that away. We tried to eat our minuscule $3 chicken "street taco." The tortillas were so hard that they must have been out for at least 24 hours. To top that all off, the "taco" made both me and my wife sick ALL NIGHT. Eat or order from here at your own risk. This was a horrific and STUPIDLY expensive experience. read more

Went here another time and had their wings!!! Omg sooo good. Their naranja (orange) salsa is delicious and makes me over indulge in chips. Been here a couple times already and absolutely love the food and atmosphere! The street tacos are not only delicious, but cheap too! You have a choice of 4 or 5 different meats, and comes with onions and cilantro. If you want their main dishes, they are all reasonably priced, and nothing takes more than 5 minutes between ordering and getting your food. The walls are decorated with cool paintings, murals, and signs, adding to the experience. Outdoor seating is really nice too. Definitely would recommend to anyone and everyone. read more

Approached this place with a surprising happy hour. From 9-11p they have $2 off Wells and $4 Beers. We sat at the bar and a beautiful Hispanic bartender immediately greeted us. She was spunky, charismatic and full of energy. We ordered the house margarita and frozen margarita. The house marg was great, except without the candy straw. I like the culture of it but didn't think it was necessary. Frozen marg was good but not awesome. My second drink I wanted to try the Latin mule, but the bartender insisted that she could make me a something good. The drink was good! Never gave me a name, but it had citrus, pisco, ginger and bitters? Hard to tell. But she made the entire experience while we were there. I believe the manager at PIE is also the manager at this place since he was frequently back and forth. Great atmosphere and good bar company! We started with an appetizer of the Shishito peppers with Charred Lemon, Not an ideal appetizer but still good. You never know the strength of the peppers unfortunately so It was not as enjoyable as I would like. We then ordered the Alambre entrée which came with four flour tortillas, and three tacos (Beef, Carnitas, and Pollo). The chicken in my opinion was the most flavorful, Salsas that they provided tasted mostly like vinegar and no spice at all. I didn't have a bad experience just not the best meal experience. Which I can't stand for taco plates since everyone knows the best tacos come from a gas station and you're able to get 4 for $5, but I'm here for the vibe remember??? We have tried five drinks, and all have been not only strong but also unique. The margarita in a bag with a spicy straw is a must try! We have tried several tacos, tortilla soup, and flautas. My new favorite hidden gem. Call me selfish, but I am torn about posting a 5 star review because I don't want everyone flocking to the restaurant and driving up the wait time for a table. I stumbled upon TBD Kitchen when dropping clothes off at the tailor next door (btw, the tailor is fantastic too). I popped in to TBD to take a look at their menu. I wasn't hungry but I placed a to go order for street and posh tacos. Wow! So good! While waiting on my order, I chatted with the staff about their food and drinks. I was told to come back for the Guava Collins. A few days later, I came back for dinner. This is a small restaurant and seating is limited so I took a spot at the bar. I ordered the Guava Collins and more tacos!!! The Guava Collins is fantastic and the flavor from the guava puree is outstanding. I ordered a beef street taco and the chophouse posh taco. Both were flavorful and cooked to perfection. This restaurant offers a relaxing patio with a view of the pond at Castle Hills. It was to hot for me to sit outside but I'm looking forward to an evening on the patio. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. read more

I expected good things from TBD as I really enjoy PIE314 and reviews are great but as we ate dinner we where disappointed. The guy that works apps and drinks etc. gets the chips out of a plastic tub with his bare hands(No thanks). Our food tasted fast foodish rushed with little flavor and with out the same passion as PIE314. Nice atmosphere and awesome staff so maybe we will be back for drinks. read more

Stopped in based on reviews. Service was polite. Nice man behind the bar. But it wasn't busy and 3 tacos took 15 minutes, they were $3 and not much meat was in them (overpriced for the standard "street taco"), no chips and salsa were served (not sure if they are supposed to be complimentary, but I've come to expect it), and the carnitas were really greasy. May go back and try another dish, but these guys didn't hit on any cylinders for me today. read more
