Raised on local flavors... That's what T&C expresses along with your clothing and or accessories whether you're going to the beach or just chilling at home there something here that will complete what you'll need. I came here because I heard the Spam Musubi hair clips was back in stock and didn't want to miss out on it this time especially it was buy one get one 50% off was a deal I couldn't pass. This Kahala Mall location is a bit smaller but is very clean and organized with lots of staff to greet, help and assist you with anything you need i did have two seconds to wait before being helped to check out at the register to be quickly in my way. Thank you!

Wonderful location and staff. I got this Stanley x T&C water bottle, 30 oz. There are many designs and other brands to pick from. This location is smaller than Ala Moana overall, but still has a large selection of items!

After work I stopped by Kahala Mall to check out T&C surf. I needed to buy a friend a T-shirt for Christmas gift. There was a sale going on buy one at the regular price get the 2nd shirt half off. I scored because guess who's getting the 2nd shirt Yes me ha ha . This location recently renovated its nicer and has lots of merchandise to choose from. This location in Kahala Mall has a table with Pre-package Christmas gifts for sale . I thought that was cool because if you needed to buy that last minute gift that everyone has done it before this is the place to go . Before entering customer need to sanitize there hands and 6 feet apart is practice. Very friendly staff and customer service oriented. Support local and be safe

T&C a local favorite in Kahala Mall.

Growing up in da 808, one cannot help but enjoy our backyard water park (da beach!).........it's pure beauty at it's best, and that's why people come from all over the world to visit da 808! Imagine stepping off of the plane then getting hit by the wonderful weather we have, the clean air, beautiful blue beaches, & the outstanding ALOHA Spirit from da islanders! It can't get any better than that gang! Which comes to mind...........when cruising da 808, you got to have da right look, and that's where Town & Country Surf Designs comes into play! Yes, as an old dawg like me, when I was in skool, wearing surf gear was da "in thing"! T&C, Local Motion, HIC - Hawaiian Island Creations, Quiksilver, Surfline Hawaii, OP - Ocean Pacific, Lightning Bolt, Hang Ten, & Billabong were a few of the popular brands that da local kids liked back in my dayz! While having lunch at Kahala Mall yesterday, I decided to pop into T&C Surf Designs to pick up a shirt for my friend..........it's been a long time since I walked into a surf shop, as I don't have much time these dayz to enjoy my back yard water park. Lucky for me, I was greeted right away, and the clerks were very friendly in assisting me on finding a shirt I was looking for to give to my friend. I was pretty amazed as how much has remained the same through the years, yet there are a lot of stuff that surf shops carries now, that weren't there when I was a kid! When I was waiting in line to check out & pay for my items, I noticed some old skool surf wax - Mr. Zogs Sex Wax. I remember buying this stuff for my boards back in da dayz, but now, besides surf wax, they actually make an air freshener. My, how times have changed...........but that's a good thing. And the girl who was helping me told be of another brand of wax that the surfers now use for their boards, instead of Mr. Zogs............ Knowing myself, if I ever got back into the water..............old habits are hard to break, Mr. Zogs would be the wax of choice for me! Lol! Looking for surf gear? Town & Country Surf Design has it all, clothing, surfboards to skateboards, stickers, slippah's, hydroflask, caps, wallets & bags, ............you name it, they probably got it here! Much MAHALO for da wonderful service! Hope you see you folks soon! Stay STOKED!

Great place to find T-shirts, tank tops, surf shorts, surfing and skating accessories. Hubby likes the local sayings shirts that come out every year ("False Crack Medivac", "I no stay late...I'm on Hawaiian Time" etc..). Located near Adore and Radio Shack.

As an avid Peanuts/Snoopy fan, both times I was so excited to visit and made a point of fitting it into the itinerary. However, the main reason it doesn't get five stars is because of the particularly high price point for what it is. Most items are priced higher than other similarly themed, small shops in Honolulu. For instance, some stickers here are in the $5.50 range instead of $3-$4 range. Basic thin canvas tote bags are about $40. It starts to feel like they're really taking advantage of fans and tourists and push a higher limit simply because "they can." The selection is really cute though, and items do sell out. So your options really depend on when you happen to visit. My first time in October 2023, both locations were all out of crossbody tote bags. This time around (February 2026), they were available in both locations. Many of the other items were the same both times, but there were maybe a few new designs. Also, this time around there were none available plushie keychains, which I neglected to purchase the first time around as they're over $20 each. This is just outside the Waikiki beachfront area, so not really easily walkable from there. Parking is street parking. You might have to loop around a couple of times, but it shouldn't take too long. Service here isn't particularly noteworthy, but efficient, especially given lots of tourists who visit, especially popular with Japanese.

It is on a corner with just a few parking spots on the side of the store. I parked across the street in the bakery parking lot, picked up some pastries and then walked across the street to the Snoopy shop. Victor was an outstanding instructor--very friendly, incredibly patient, and amazing with kids. The twins kept saying he was "very fun," super supportive, and genuinely enthusiastic the entire lesson. He made them feel confident and excited, even with small waves. The pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of instruction and experience. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip, and we couldn't have asked for a better day of surfing for our teens. We would strongly recommend Moku Hawaii and Victor to anyone--especially families with kids or teens. We will absolutely book with them again!

As a local boy born and raised in Oahu, I'm embarrassed by the fact that I cannot swim. Surfing clearly out of the picture. I used to work in the Japanese tour agency many blue moons ago where I recall a surfing school that offers surfing lessons. My friend already knows how to surf so I didn't think this was for him so I asked one of my physical therapists who surfs regularly. He introduced me to a surfing school that's at Ala Moana Beach where I was given their website, which is also available in Japanese. I forwarded the information to my friend prior to his arrival to Honolulu where he didn't jump at it and said he'd think about it. On his arrival I drove him to his hotel on Kalakaua Ave and upon check in we saw a rack of surfboards nearby where I asked if they were rentals. The staff advised the boards belong to the in-house guests who were keeping them as storage while not in use. When asked about rentals, the front desk staff advised us to inquire with Moku Hawaii (MH) as their rates are 1/2 to what the businesses are asking for across the street on the beach. MH has been in business since 1985 where they hail from Japan. They started off as a clothing company but transitioned over to a surf shop offering surf lesson and rental business. We walked over and soon found MH, which is on the 1F at the corner of Koa Ave and Uluniu Ave. We were greeted by a friendly, young female staff who welcomed us and answered our multiple questions. With its locality, reasonable rates and customer service, my friend liked MH and decided to look no further. While checking out their inventory, my friend noticed hard boards and was hoping for soft boards. The staff guided us to those soft boards where it's available in either long or short. You will need to complete their rental form which to our surprise is quite flexible. For example, you can initially request for a 2 hr package but in the event you go overcast, you just pay the difference of $5, which is the price difference between 2 hr course and the next course of up to 4 hrs. MH gives back to the community as they sponsor multiple local keiki surf contests. That's so awesome. So, if you should be in a bind where someone asks you for a surf school in Waikiki, look no further and guide them to MH. We were surprisingly impressed with their surf shop and their amazing customer service. They open from 6am and close at 8pm

John is most knowledgeable all things about kayaks, including where to kayak and how to be safe. Don't shy away from asking him to help you understand how to be safe and get to where you want to be. John at Go Bananas kayak rental strapped a long kayak with a skeg to my car. I drove off his parking lot, and arrived at the He'eia Kea Boat Harbor. On a windy and rainy day in November I rented a long kayak with a skeg, and John showed me how to strap it to the car I was driving. I drove to He'eia Kea Boat Harbor, and launched off the Kaneohe Canoe Club, towards where I thought the sunken sandbar at Kaneohe Bay would be found. For my entire trip inching forward in that direction I was alone in the foreboding ocean, or rather they bay. But from my low vantage points, it looked as if I were in the middle of the deep ocean with breaking waves under me and dark clouds above me. John told me to aim for Kapapa Island, and he was right. Because as far as I could tell from my kayak it was just dark water all around me, except for that tiny speck of an island. All other boats I saw and thought to be tourist boats anchored at the sandbar all turned out to be decoys - they were docked so closed to shore in retrospect. Many a times I thought I'd reached the sandbar only to find empty boats in dark and deep water. Many more times I thought of turning back - it could be frightening being out there alone, even if I was prepared with all available safety devices. But I kept going. Then I sensed a change in water color. Shortly the sun poked its head out of the cloud. And magic happened. The sea all around me turned turquoise as soon as sunrays touched them, revealing that I was mere inches above sand now. I soon found a lone stand-up paddler lying supine on his board, drinking beer. I also ran into a birthday party dinning around a table half-submerged in water. Then Captain Bruce's boat showed up, dumping lots of merrymakers onto the sandbar. Now that I know the place, I would have no issues coming back again and finding it, next time. In some of the videos you will find dark clouds raining on entire towns, while I filmed the shore from the sandbar. That gives you a sense of how far the sandbar is from shore.

Great hours, great prices (really, reasonably priced rental I've seen) and great service. I'd call ahead if you're renting on a long weekend.
