Absolutely terrible experience with this company. Their sizing is completely inconsistent. I normally wear a small, yet I had to repeatedly exchange sizes because nothing fit correctly. I only returned items because their sizing chart was so inaccurate. Then they rejected my return over a tiny mark even though the bottoms were only briefly tried on indoors. I paid around $65 and was told on April 3 that the item would be sent back to me if the return was denied. It is now mid-May and I still have not received the item, a refund, or even a follow-up email. Their customer service has been awful throughout this entire process. At this point I feel like I paid for something I don't even have. Between the inaccurate sizing, rejected return, lack of communication, and failure to send my item back, this has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I've had. read more

Please believe all the bad reviews written here about this place. UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE. This business appears to violate consumer protection laws. The customer service experience was extremely unpleasant. The sizing on their website is incorrect, to say the least. You buy a size small (based on what they claim is on the model), and you receive a toddler-sized bikini. Temu-like experience, but way worse as they literally scam people. The return process was equally problematic. They claimed I returned the item without the sizing tag attached - which is a false claim. I even didn't try on this toddler's size bikini set, and the items were sent back in the EXACT same condition I received it only more securely packaged. Their shipping packaging is a joke. A $150 swimsuit was sent in a thin, flimsy envelope without proper protection. I strongly advise against ordering from this company. Please advocate for yourself and your hard-earned money. I spent $410 for 3 swimsuits. They arrived in the mail without the safety "crotch" shield. I ordered a large even though I wear a medium. I could not pull up the suit past my knees. I called and asked for directions how to send back. They will not refund my money. I can only get a store credit. This does not work for me since I cannot even fit into anything they have. I visited the San Lorenzo store at the Ala Moana mall today and Alyssa greeted me with a smile and sincerity. I was looking for some boy shorts and she stated to me that you had a great selection. The store did not however, but she helped me look at their selection. I love San Lorenzo beach wear and usually go to the Haleiwa store. They have great sales and beautiful beachwear. They're very affordable endurable. I love the way they fit, but I was truly amazed at how much enthusiasm Alyssa had. She is an asset to your store and I wish she was there every day. I have moved from Wahiawa to town and look forward to coming in more often. I would love to see her regularly as she is your greatest asset. Very cute bikinis. However despite the alluring sale sign by the door, as soon as I started perusing, I find the swimsuits expensive. At least $40 a piece, no sets. There is a tiny if not nonexistent sale section. I have to wonder, don't last seasons swim suits go out and should be up for sale? The ones that are going on sale doesn't seem like a sale to me. Pricey bikinis but worth every penny! I bought a bikini from their new collection and absolutely love it! The quality is there, you can feel it in the fabric. I think I actually like that there isn't any padding because it tends to bend and warp over time and I think it'll look weird with the thinness and softness of the fabric. Also nice sexy styles. San Lorenzo has always been the main spot to get cute and good quality bikinis. The bikinis are definitely pricey, but you get what you pay for. I have bikinis bought from here in middle school that are still in nice shape. The stores are always nice and clean. The look of the store is always aesthetically pleasing. As for the items, they have a return policy that you have 14 days to exchange the items or to receive store credit. The sizing of the bikinis are kinda weird for me-- I can fit some size smalls and some size mediums. I recommend trying them on before you leave. They have a dressing room open even during Covid, which I appreciate and only allow 5 people in the store at a time. read more

I'm not sure how many store owners refer to yelp reviews or not but I felt the need to share a negative experience that I had this morning. I shop at this location quite often purchasing anywhere from 10 to 15 bikinis a year. Each piece is sold separately normally they run about $100 per piece so it's not a cheap item. I went in today to look for some bikini bottoms. A very attractive young African-American female sales person was working. She was with another customer however she did greet me as I entered the store. When the other customer left the store without purchasing anything I assumed she would come to me and ask me if I need any assistance or if she could start me a dressing room. I waited a few minutes then went up to her, sitting at the cash register, and asked for some assistance In finding another size. She was not very friendly however did go to look came back a few minutes later said they were out of that size. I continue to look around, selected a couple items and laid them on the counter. In the past the sales person has asked me if they if they could hold the items up on the counter to free my hands or if I needed a dressing room. She did not. A few minutes later she asked me if I plan to purchase the items or if I was just looking around. She sounded a little rude to me so I asked her if I was bothering her to which she replied no. I paid for the items and on my way out she said "I hope you have a nicer day". Totally unnecessary. I had to bite my tongue because what I wanted to reply was "it was wonderful until I receive such poor customer service from you." read more

I'm a full bodied woman with some muscle and curve, I am always looking for the right fit bikini with enough stretch, lightness, trend, and comfort. This is one of the few Brazilian bikini stores dedicated to Brazilian style bikinis. There are so many ranges of styles when it comes to Brazilian, I learned there are conservative cute and very revealing thong like cuts. I personally love them all, but it depends on your comfort as an individual. San Lorenzo bikinis I find are super comfortable, secure, and cute. I can surf, swim, and tan in their suits. They are the best. This San Lorenzo location is the newest location I believe. I've been a huge fan of SL bikinis for a bit over a decade. They have consistently produced fine authentic Brazilian bikinis. There are colors, styles, and patterns for everyone and I also love that some of their bikinis are reversible. I love how clean this location is. Super easy to find too next to Zumi's. Plenty of dressing rooms, plenty of bikinis beautifully displayed to choose from. I love that their bikinis look good on all body types. No you don't have to be rail thin and ripped to look hot in their suits. They flatter and elongate legs of all shapes and sizes. It feels like you're wearing nothing, they're so comfortable. They are a little expensive, but that's because they are specialized hand made suits imported from South America. They have a few staple styles, but also they have some seasonal limited edition styles. I love that they're constantly changing but still staying true to their San Lorenzo dna. Expert tips: bring a clean thong undie to try on the bikinis for sanitary reasons, this is a great tip for trying on all lingerie, swim wear, etc. Ideal bikini try on prep I highly recommend: showering hair and body, eating nothing at least two hours prior to trying on a swim suit. It can be discouraging trying on swim wear if I'm feeling bloated and dirty. My friend shared those tips with me and it helped me tremendously! read more

I usually don't shop here but I decided to have a spontaneous beach day and my everyday bikini wasn't packed in my car :( so I stopped in the Ala Moana location to take a look and was very surprised to see that the selection from styles to colors. I asked the employee for a little help finding a bottom that would cover, since most of their selection is on the showy side and she found a bottom that covered me just enough to feel comfortable BUT my usual size is a small/ medium so I tried both on and they were WAAAAAY too small, I had to bump up to a large and I asked if the sizing runs smaller bc a medium fit as a small and a small was basically a thong (not a problem if you're into that!). my only problem were the tops, I like to have a little padding, especially in white bikini tops so that when they get when im not putting on a show for people when I get out of the water, but I was only able to find one top with padding and it's the same top I have at home, but I really wanted to buy a different style but unfortunately all the other styles had no padding and only 1 layer to cover, it wasn't bad but I feel the style selection for padded tops could be more extended. the sales associate was super nice and helpful when I had questions about finding sizes or a specific styles and she explained the return and exchange policy very straight forward saying "it's basically not possible" super straight forward and I appreciate that bc if I had tried them on at home and they didn't fit, I would be stuck with a $100+ bikini that I could never wear. my only bad experience here wasn't even the the store itself or the sales associate, there was a small group of girls 18-20 yrs old who walked in with the most entitled attitude and were very rude to the poor girl working, you can clearly tell they were here just for school, but they were making the rudest comments when the sales associate was helping me and they complained that they weren't getting the service "THEY DESERVED" which was met with my nice reply of "please leave if you feel you aren't getting the service you THINK you deserve" but my point is that everyone should be nice to the employees working. I would highly recommend that people give the store a try and be cautious about the sizing! read more

Was passive aggressive with us the whole 30 min we were there. Would walk literally right in front of me as I was browsing to put bikinis back on rack. Love love love love- Absolutely OBSESSED with their bikinis and outfits here! Super cute and chic. They were the original ones in Hawaii to sell the now Coveted Brazilian cut bottoms. Since 2000 I have been buying these bikinis and would even drive all the way out to the northshore to get these when that was the only place besides Kailua. I remember when no one had these types of small bottoms and now it is the only type me and my friends want! So glad they opened up other locations especially this one at Ala Moana- Located on the 3rd floor now. This location is way smaller than the other locations and because it is so centrally located, sizes run out fast. But they also have TONS of sale stuff I find that the end of summer has the most sale stuff- Outfits and bathing suit Separates from $10-40$ (regular price 60-100$) The reason I always get stuff from here (although a little pricey) is because the QUALITY is superb and the material feels so good on your skin and doesn't get limp and stretched out like those other bikinis! The bikinis last for years (as long as cleaned and hand washed and STRESS THE AIR DRYING) and their original BIKINI cuts/ BRAZILIAN cuts and thongs make all the girls have great looking bootys! Kiana helped me at the older location and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offer a summer special which I learned has been going on for 2 years **since 2017. They offer select bikinis, a floatie or a speaker with bluetooth connect and a pair of select QUAY glasses all for 150$. SUCH a GREAT deal! Always love their styles and prints. Will and have recommended to everyone I Know! They also have matching mommy and me suits, sadly no boys stuff- As i have a boy :P The new Store location- Alexa helped me. She paid so much attention to me! Helped me go through all the new styles as well as tried to help measure me to get the right fit since I find different collections run diff sizes. New location (Ground Level by Center Stage)! So many cute prints, styles, and colors....San Lorenzo is the only swimwear shop that can make me want to wear a Brazilian cut! The store is neatly organized and spread out (unlike a lot of bikini shops in Waikiki that are smushed together making it a headache to find something cute). I think that most bikinis are $75 (which is pretty standard today), and the quality is great so you can wear it over and over. They have an assortment of styles, so be prepared to spend some time in the store finding your perfect fit. Honestly if I wanted a bikini top or sundress this is not the shop I would look in. I really think their merchandise are overpriced (or at least the clothing I was looking at.) Then again why did I come inside in the first place? The mannequins looked super cute! You did well visual merchandise person. In this shop, there's a lot of room to move around. If I could give no stars i would. 1st of all you don't get refunds, you only get store credit. 2nd, the customer service is terrible. The 2 girls at the front were on their phones the whole time and looking at catalogs. When we asked for a dressing room the girl with the awful fake tan and ugly white Air Force ones rolled her eyes. Whole time I was in there nobody asked my group for assistance or to hold anything for us. The pricing is ridiculous, and they mark things as a set yet you're paying for each item individually... 40$ per item AT LEAST and that's the sale rack!! When we went to return the bikini set we were told that they can't do a cash/card refund and only store credit. The 2 girls upfront said we could return tomorrow to speak with the manager to get a possible refund. We were told to be there by 10:30 and when we showed up the manager wasn't there yet. We had to wait a whole hour for her to meet us. And basically she said she couldn't do anything or refund based on the fact that it was expensive. Miss fake tan never relayed the return policy to us.. which should be one of the first things to say at check out. This is a tourist location they should be able to offer refunds. If I'm returning the product it's because I don't want your fucking merchandise so why would I want store credit ?? Unbelievable, and stuck with an expensive bathing suit that the quality is average. Bought my first SLB today. Paid 220$ Brought it home- it had a tear. The year rapidly is unraveling. Based on other reviews I'm afraid if they will even let me exchange. So disappointed! Another comment, these are all SO small. I am a 6 foot tall size 8/10 and I prefer one pieces because I am a mom and have stretch marks. I couldn't wear any of their one pieces because I am so tall that the large wouldn't fit. They don't carry an xl, and imho their large fits like a medium at best. Found a high waist two piece I liked but like I said, it's ripped straight out of the store. I had to try on multiple tops because the 1st style of top I tried was a large and I literally was one bend-over away from a nipslip. Second top I tried was a medium, but fit well. When 9pm came...the other salesperson said "Uh, we're closed"....Wow, really???? Talk about NO CUSTOMER SERVICE skills...I was pretty ticked off at this point. Miss Personality salesperson #2 asked Miss Personality salesperson #1, "Should I shut down the register?" Well, sure looks like you should to me, because once she opened her mouth to say "Uh, we're closed" that just made my gf and me wanna run out the door and pretend we never walked in, in the first place. After reading recent reviews of this location, I was a bit hesitant to come in. Previous Yelpers complained about their experience with the sales staff and lack of customer service; but being that I needed a new bottom after weeks of working out my derriere :p I figured I just stop in and maybe see what the fuss was all about. As I walked in I was greeted INSTANTLY by one of the workers; 1 point. After browsing the racks for a minute she asks me what if I was looking for something in particular and gave me information on what to find and where to find it; 2 points. I grab a few items, she offers to start me a room; 3 points! She also informed me about the Yelp check in for 15% off which was surprising because business usually don't advertise that to customers so I thought that was great. (FYI: No exchanges applicable if using discount) Eventually I decided on my piece and as I was being wrung up I inquired about their sales that usually happens once a year. The other woman; which I presume was the manger was OVERLY helpful informing me about sales information and other info I can find on IG and FB...even writing the account name on my receipt. 4, 5, 6 points! You will spend a pretty penny on the bikinis here, but you should know that before hand. In regards to the sales staff; A++++. BTW: Had an equally good experience at Pucks Ally as well. I have never in my life tried on a brazilian style bikini. So I had no idea what to expect or how the bikinis would fit. I was hoping the staff there would be able to help me find a style that would be good for me. Unfortunately I received zero help. Upon walking in the store no one greeted me, no one even left the counter the entire time I was there. I tried on more than 10 bikinis and kept returning it to the sales associate who didn't even bat an eye. Um, a little help?! Does it even phase you that your customer could use a little help?? Nope.
